Ein neuer Textzeuge zu einem neunköpfigen Wesen (pBM EA 10669)
No full textPapyrus London, BM, EA 10669 stellt aufgrund der
Tatsache, dass es sich (bisher) um den einzigen Text han-
delt, in dem ein neunköpfiges Wesen mit dem Hauptkopf in
Form eines Po.t-Menschen in Erscheinung tritt, eine bislang einzigartige Komposition dar. Als inhaltliche Parallele ist
insbesondere pBrooklyn 47.218.156 anzuführen, wozu
noch kleinere Abschnitte aus pCarlsberg 475 und Paris,
Louvre, E 11554 treten.
Das erstgenannte Gesicht des Wesens soll nach pBM
EA 10669, x+IV, 3 das „Gesicht eines Po.t“ (Hr n(.|) Po.t)
und damit das eines Menschen sein. Dass es sich um den
Hauptkopf beziehungsweise das große Gesicht handelt, an
dem die zusätzlichen Tierprotome angebracht wurden, kann
in Analogie zu den Beschreibungen in pBrooklyn 47.218.156
erschlossen werden, da hier für den Siebenköpfigen in Kol.
x+IV, 9 und den Neunköpfigen in Kol. x+II, 2 das Gesicht
von Bes (Hr n(.¦) BÈ) genannt wird und die beiden Vignetten
im Papyrus das Haupt von Bes als Hauptkopf darstellen. 47
Aus Ägypten existieren wenige Statuetten, die einen neun-
köpfigen Gott zeigen, dessen Hauptkopf der eines Menschen
ist. Dies ist bei Sammlung Robert Rustafjaell Nr. 495 der
Fall,48 wobei man diese Statuette am ehesten mit dem in
pBM EA 10669 beschriebenen Wesen zusammenbringen
könnte. Günther Roeder erwähnt in seiner Beschreibung des
Stücks Rustafjaell Nr. 495, dass an den Seiten des Kopfes
2 × 4 Tierköpfe angebracht seien, wobei diese aber auf
der Fotografie nicht zu identifizieren sind. Hierbei soll es
sich auf der rechten Seite um „Anubis, Hapi, Sekhet und
Horus“ sowie auf der linken Seite um „Khepra, Bast, Khem
und Neit“ handeln.49 Im Vergleich zu anderen Statuetten,die mit kleinen Tierprotomen an ihrem Hauptkopf darge-
stellt wurden, wäre aus der Beschreibung von Roeder abzu-
leiten, dass es sich auf der einen Seite um einen Schakal
(„Anubis“), einen Pavian („Hapi“), einen Löwen („Sekhet“)
und einen Falken („Horus“) sowie auf der anderen Seite
um einen Käfer („Khepra“), eine Katze („Bast“), einen
Widder („Khem“) und einen Menschen („Neit“) handelt.
Als Tierprotome sind Schakal, Pavian, Löwe, Falke, Katze
und Widder sehr geläufig,50 doch ist bisher keine Statuette
bekannt, die als Protome einen Käfer oder einen Menschen
zeigen würde. Da heute kein Zugriff auf das Objekt
Rustafjaell Nr. 495 möglich ist, muss somit die Deutung
von Roeder in den betreffenden Identifizierungen speku-
lativ bleiben. Eine weitere kleine Statuette mit dem Kopf
eines Menschen liegt mit einer polymorphen Mumie, heute
Baltimore, Walters Art Museum, Inv.-Nr. 57.1437, 51 vor,
deren Aussehen aber definitiv nicht mit den noch erhaltenen
Passagen in pBM EA 10669 in Verbindung zu bringen ist.
In den ersten beiden Kolumnen x+I und x+II der
Vorderseite werden primär Epitheta des Amun beziehungs-
weise des Amun-Re gelistet, wobei in Kolumne x+II zudem
zum Ritual übergeleitet wird. Dieses beruht darauf, dass
der durch das neunköpfige Wesen verkörperte Gott bezie-
hungsweise das göttliche Konstrukt beschworen wird,
va-WÈ|r als Nutznießerin des apotropäischen Papyrus vor
Schaden zu bewahren. Von besonderem Interesse sind die
teils wortgetreuen Parallelen zu pBrooklyn 47.218.156,
die deutlich bezeugen, dass beide Papyri, obwohl sie
doch jeweils ein unterschiedliches mehrköpfiges Wesen
beschreiben, aufgrund ihrer identischen Textabschnitte in
direkter Verbindung stehen. Speziell die sich anschließende
Beschreibung des Wesens ab Kolumne x+IV, 3 erinnert
ebenfalls an die Charakteristik des neunköpfigen Bes in
pBrooklyn 47.218.156, was auch in diesem Fall kein Zufall
sein kann. Mit Kol. x+IX wird durch die Wendung nHm=k
„Du sollst retten“ der schutzmächtige Aspekt des Papyrus
deutlich. Unglücklicherweise ist der Text am Ende des
Papyrus nicht mehr lesbar, so dass nur gemutmaßt werden
kann, ob eine Wendung wie in pBrooklyn 47.218.156, x+V,
7 mit „Worte zu sprechen über diesem Bildnis, welches
gezeichnet ist; gezeichnet auf einem neuen Papyrusblatt,
gegeben an den Hals eines Mannes“ (Dd-mdw.w Hr ÈSm pn
nty m ÈS.w ÈS.w Hr Dmo n(.¦) m#w D+ r XX n(.¦) s(¦)) 52 dereinst
auf dem Papyrus vorlag und somit der Text, und optional
eine beigegebene Zeichnung des neunköpfigen Wesens, den
Schutz spenden sollte. Aufgrund der direkten Parallelen zum
Brooklyner Stück ist diese Art der Nutzung zu erwarten,
was ebenfalls einen vergleichbaren Text über die Kreation
eines Amuletts am Ende erwarten lassen würde.The present contribution is the editio princeps of pBM EA 10669, of which, despite its very interesting content, no notice has been taken

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
