Application of Standard ISO 10014:2006 “Quality Management – Guidelines for Realizing Financial and Economic Benefits” Principles for Process Improvements
No full textApplicability of guidelines standard ISO 10014 has been studied on the example of one of the leading solid wood furniture companies in Latvia - starting from self- assessment, selection of tools and methods, to evaluation of results. As self- assessment results indicated as principle with lowest score “Process approach”, further investigations were related with process approach principle and it’s application in manufacturing process.
Following to ISO 10014:2006 philosophy and employing PDCA approach, different methods and tools (Benchmarking, Pareto analysis, Process audit, FMEA, Theory of Constraints, Lean manufacturing) have been selected. The primary goal was manufacturing process improvement in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, optimizing use of resources. Get PDFIn this paper we study the problem of optimization of guaranteed result for program control by the final state of regional social and economic system in the presence of risks. For this problem we propose a mathematical model in the form of two-level hierarchical minimax program control problem of the final state of this process with incomplete information. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textDiplomová práce pojednává o mezinárodní normě ISO 10014:2006 -- Management kvality- směrnice pro dosahování finančních a ekonomických přínosů. V práci jsou popsány principy managementu a jednoduchá metodika PDCA. Práce se zaměřuje na zásadu procesního přístupu a zásadu vzájemně prospěšných dodavatelských vztahů. V této práci jsou aplikovány dle ISO 10014 tyto metody: Drum-Buffer-Rope v rámci procesního přístupu a v rámci zásady vzájemně prospěšných dodavatelských vztahů grafická metoda ratingu dodavatelů, zónové regulační diagramy a komplexní hodnocení výkonnosti dodavatele. Jsou stanoveny přínosy z uplatňování těchto metod a nástrojů.The thesis concentrates on the International Standard ISO 10014 - Quality management -Guidelines for realizing financial and economic benefits. In the thesis management principles and the simply methodology called PDCA are described. The thesis is focused on the priniple of process approach and nutually beneficial supplier relationship. These methods according to the Standard are applicated: Drum-Buffer-Rope within process approach and the graphical method of supplier rating, the zone control charts and the comprehensive supplier performance evaluation. The benefits from the effective application of these methods and tools are described
