Receiving information from indirect sources is common in daily lives. This may be due to the time constraint, giving priority to one’s current engagement, physical distance, mandatory non-face-to-face communication, and other factors. In fact, most of an individual’s time is spent on processing indirect information whether one deals with his office work or family matters. This chapter shows the extent of congruence that is identified by a co-author based on the description of the other two co-authors who attended the talk on the topic of “Budi,” “Sejahtera,” and “Leadership.” The lead author created and sent an attachment that contains a combination of dichotomous and open-ended questions related to the three-terminology theme to the other co-authors for their independent views. He analyzed their textual opinions and produced his analysis of the converging and diverging themes based on the opinions provided. This case study helps people become aware of the varying amount and depth of information acquired by listeners to a public lecture, moreover via online platform rather than among the audience of a lecture in a hall. In this case, only two listeners are involved, making content analysis easy.

kesadaran hukum masyarakat melalui pemberitaan media massa cetak di\ud
Kota Makassar. \ud
Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Fajar di wilayah hukum Kota\ud
Makassar.
Kemudian peningkatan kesadaran\ud
hukum masyarakat melalui pemberitaan media massa cetak di Kota\ud
Makassar belum maksimal. Selama ini media massa cetak hanya\ud
memberikan wadah konsultasi hukum bagi masyarakat. Media massa\ud
cetak di Kota Makassar belum melakukan penginformasian keberadaan\ud
maupun isi dari suatu aturan hukum tertentu. Kurangnya informasi\ud
masyarakat mengenai suatu aturan hukum menyebabkan rendahnya\ud
kesadaran hukum (pola perilaku hukum) di kalangan masyarakat. Masih\ud

Buyer Beware: Georgia Consumers Can\u27t Rely on the Fair Business Practices Act
In Novare Group, Inc. v. Sarif, the Georgia Supreme Court rejected the plaintiffs\u27 claim that the defendant brokers and developers violated the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act ( FBPA ), Georgia\u27s primary consumer protection statute. The author contends that the court\u27s approach in Novare undermines the Georgia General Assembly\u27s purpose in enacting the FBPA to protect consumers from unfair or deceptive practices. The article criticizes the court for treating claims under the FBPA the same as common law fraud claims. It also examines the court\u27s treatment of reliance, parol evidence, merger clauses and legislative silence. Finally, the article discusses the implications for future actions seeking redress for FBPA violations

Representations of South African Indian women in Farida Karodia's Daughters of the twilight and Shamim Sarif's The world unseen.
Thesis (M.A.)-University of Natal, Durban, 2003.In this article I examine the representations of South African Indian women in Farida
Karodia's Daughters of the Twilight and Shamim Sarif's the world unseen. My contention
is that each author chooses a different mode of representation and that certain features
of these representations suggest both the different relationship each author has with
South Africa and the differences in the times of production of the novels. Thus while both
novels are set in the 1950s, Karodia, whose site of enunciation is the 'interregnum' in the
1980s, imagines the agency of her women quite differently from Sarif, who writes from a
'post-anti-apartheid' site of enunciation in the late 1990s. I analyse and compare the
relationships between characters (men and women; women and women) and look at the
cultural and political significance of mixed-race figures, concentrating on uncovering the
mechanisms of power and their effects. I read these against a politico-historical context
of the setting and that of the times and places of production

Women in African Drama: Representation and role
The purpose of this study is to examine the representation and role of women in African theatre. The discussion is based on published and unpublished plays by African writers selected from a pan-African perspective.
The thesis is divided into two major parts: Women in Society; The Portrayal of Women by Major Playwrights. Part I follows a thematic approach aimed at examining the position of women in three different areas which form the chapters for the part : Women, Tradition and Social
Change; The Urban Woman and Women in Politics. Part II of the thesis analyses major African playwrights' presentation of women characters. This part discusses not only the characterization of women by major playwrights but also these writers' attitude towards women and women's issues. Examined here in two chapters are The Portrayal of Women by
Major Male Playwrights and The Portrayal of Women by Major Female Playwrights.
Chapter 1, 'Women, Tradition and Social Change' discusses selected playwrights' examination of African women's experiences in the traditional African setting as a major foundation of the present and future socio-political situation of the continent; this chapter is the springboard
of the study.
From the traditional milieu the study then moves on to the
relatively new urban environment. This Chapter examines the predicaments in which the African woman finds herself as she struggles to survive in a world which differs significantly from the traditional one. Survival in the urban environment demands a certain degree of autonomy
from communal ties on the part of the individual. Yet in the case of the African woman, society does not hesitate to censure her movements and even to point an accusing finger at her for failing to satisfy traditional expectations when she is genuinely trying to meet the challenges presented by life in towns.
The myth that a woman's place is exclusively in the kitchen is a widespread one the world over. A more negative myth found in Africa is that participation of women in public affairs leads to social disaster. The third chapter of this study examines the role of African women in politics in the traditional and contemporary periods.
The fourth chapter discusses the portrayal of women by major male playwrights. Of great significance in this analysis is the attitude of these male writers towards women and also towards issues affecting women. It is for this reason that cross-references are made between these male writers and the female playwrights examined in Chapter 5.
Very negligible research has been done on drama by African women. It is in recognition of this unfortunate situation that the fifth and last chapter of this thesis is dedicated to women's self-perception as reflected in their portrayal of fellow-women in theatre. This chapter examines only major female playwrights; the minor female playwrights
are examined alongside the male in the appropriate areas in Chapters 1 to 3
Humanizing education with tazkiyah al-nafs – the roots of humanized education
In this writing, the author laments on the practicality of changing oneself and the effect it has on solving world issues. By briefly describing her research journey, encounter with philosophy, discussion with colleagues, and the effect of listening on Tazkiyah al-Nafs delivered in Ibadah Camp 2021, the author comes to two realizations. One, changing oneself through tazkiyah al-nafs does not only bring spiritual benefits, but can also have lasting positive effect on others in the long term. Second, together with theory and concept, tazkiyah al-nafs form the ethos of humanized education that the university tries to propagate. By reflecting on theory and concept, as well as tazkiyah al-nafs, a framework of sorts was produced as depicted in this write up
