Ramly Burger was one of Malaysia's local brand franchises, founded by a husband and wife, Dato Dr. Haji. Ramly bin Mokni and Datin Hajiah Shala Bint Abdul Manap. I chose Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly bin Mokni because I appreciated my efforts to get his company from a small business to a profitable local Malaysian franchise. The company was started in 1979 at Lorong Haji Hussin in Kuala Lumpur, once a small business. The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Hj. Ramly bin Mokni in 1984, with the aim of developing clean and good-quality halal western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Dato’ Dr. Hj. Ramly’s decision to produce a halal-certified meat source for all Muslim consumers in Malaysia. I chose Dato’ Dr. Hj. Ramly bin Mokni as my business case study because I’m appreciated my hard works and efforts get to know about his company where is from a small business to a profitable local Malaysia franchise. As I mentioned earlier, this company was started in 1979 and it was started from a small shop that operates only from a small mobile kiosk and was established in 1984 on a platform for the development of Halal, Hygienic and good quality. The Ramly Food Processing Sdn. Bhd or formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn. Bhd was the most popular patty which is street burger that called as Burger Ramly. In this case study, students need to do research on an entrepreneur of a company and collect as much information as possible about an entrepreneur. The primary goal of this research is to expose students to the real challenges of conducting a business. I’ve chosen Ramly because it is one of Malaysia's most famous frozen and fast food companies. Ramly Food Processing Sdn. Bhd. is a well-known Bumiputera-owned food-based product manufacturer specializing in beef, chicken, and seafood. Dato's Haji Ramly bin Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah binti Abdul Manap formed the company in 1984 out of a sheer desire to manufacture halal, safe, and quality goods. It all started as a small family business. His inspiration stems from his observations while working as a meat cutter at a supermarket. Ramly Burger has grown from a single burger stand to a food manufacturer, and it is only getting stronger by the day. Their commitment in delivering healthy, quality and halal meat to consumers can be seen across their journey and the creation of ideas to create a better business opportunity

Little attention is given to teaching the theory and practice of software evolution and change in software engineering curricula. Program transformation is no exception. This paper presents the author’s experience in teaching program transformation as a unit in a postgraduate module on software systems reengineering. It describes the teaching context of this unit and two different offerings of it, one using Turing eXtender Language (TXL) and the other using Legacy Computer Aided Reengineering Environment (Legacy-CARE or L-CARE) from ATX Software. From this experience, it was found that selecting the suitable material (that balances theory and practice) and the right tool(s) for the level of students and depth of coverage required is a non-trivial task. It was also found that teaching using toy exercises and assignments does not convey well the practical aspects of the subject. While, teaching with real, even small size, exercises and assignments, is almost non-feasible. Finding the right balance is very important but not easy. It was also found that students understanding and appreciation of the topic of program transformation increases when they are presented with real industrial case studies
