This article was written to provide an overview of the opportunities of education and inter-ethnic relations in the perspective of critical education. The author conducted in-depth study of literature, especia lly in relation to critical education perspective on inter-ethnic relations and educational opportunities. Thoughts on the critical education of modernism to the postmodernism marks optimism into the role of education as cultural tr ansformation and production area, not as reproduction of culture. Meanwhile, inter-ethnic relations deepens national integration, among other things: (1) promote community life in harmony, (2) realizing cultural relatio nship model, (3) appreciating the differences, (4) repairing the emergence of social prejudices, (5) valuing diversity and foster democracy. In this context, the school holds a very important role as a venue for the empowerment and liberation of individuals and groups in a just society by promoting individual and collective autonomy in participatory democratic system that respects the diversity and plurality of social and cultural groups. Democracy as a celebration of difference and diversity, not to serve the agenda of the elite minority and the majority of the ruling ideology

In 2022 the government through the ministry of home affairs has appointed officials (PJ), namely governors, regents and mayors. The appointed officials are to replace governors, regents and mayors whose term of office has ended for 5 (five) years. For 2023 the government through the ministry of home affairs will appoint acting governors, regents and mayors. The term of office of the acting regional head will end after the appointment and inauguration of the governors, regents and mayors resulting from the simultaneous national regional head elections on November 27 2024. The officials who have been appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs in 2022 are 7 (seven) governors, 76 ( seventy six) regents and 18 (eighteen) mayors. Whereas in 2023 the government will appoint officials namely 18 (eighteen) governors, 115 (one hundred and fifteen) regents and 38 (thirty eight) mayors. In appointing and appointing the acting regional heads, the government is guided by Law Number 10 of 2016 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents and Mayors. Furthermore, this problem arose when the provisions of Article 201 Paragraph (10) and Paragraph (11) of Law Number 10 of 2016 were requested for a material review to the Constitutional Court in Case Number 15/PUU-XX/2022. In one of its rulings, the Constitutional Court stipulated that, "The government should make technical regulations in appointing acting regional heads" (in the form of government regulations, author). But it seems that the government, in this case the Ministry of Home Affairs, has not yet implemented the Constitutional Court's decision, even though in 2023 the government will appoint another acting regional head. For this reason, the author is interested in conducting research with the title "Specifying the Change of Regional Heads whose Term of Office Has Ended And Will Be Filled By Acting (PJ) Regional Heads Which End in the 2024 National Concurrent Regional Head Elections (Pilkada)

As a nation Indonesia famous throughout the world as archipelago state, and those islands provide plenty of tourist destinations. Nowadays, the power of nations unlike in cold war era, where traditional security is measured as the main source of power, however in today’s society non-traditional security become the main power, and one of them is tourism. As a country located in the coral triangle, Indonesia is surrounded by the shallow tropical marine ecosystem, where corals, fishes and other marine creatures are abundant. Indonesia in addition is the biggest contributor for the coral triangle area and Raja Ampat hosting the highest diversity of Marine world followed Derawan Island in East Kalimantan as the second place. This scientific paper will explain the potency of Derawan Island toward the competitive destination. In order to analyse the topic, the concept of hospitality will implement and the type of data research is primary, since the author conducting field research in Derawan Island and visiting number of official government agencies which related with the topic of research. The type of the research is descriptive explanative where the author will describe the data and explain about the potency of Derawan Island. The research shows that Derawan Island is located in the epicentre of marine biodiversity of the coral triangle. In addition Derawan Island also hosting two of six marine turtles in the world such as hawksbill and green turtle, in terms of dive spot, there are plenty of locations as the dive spot followed with extraordinary view and diversity of underwater world. Moreover related with accommodation, there are plenty of guesthouses, hotels and cottages and tourist can choose based on their budget

This paper is the result of the author who has participated in various trainings organized by the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education. Based on that, it can be stated that both soft skills, effective learning, and character education, the three are not in the realm related to technical skills, professional scientific fields, or things that are motoric in nature. All three are in the area ofpersonality competence. All three are more closely related to EQ., SQ., Heart, to live together and to be than with IQ, hand, head, to do, or to know. Thus the meaning of sofs skills, character education is not much diferent from affective abilities. However, of course there are diferences, such as the sofs skill gives a broader picture ofpersonality, while character education provides a more specific and specific personality picture than affective competence. This can be seen clearly from the many and broad scope of the attributes of soft skills, as well as the specific and specific character education goals that emphasize the basic values of character, namely honesty, smart, tough, and caring. Efforts to carry out character education in the ISBI Bandung environment will be confronted with the main problem, namely the ability to make changes in the level of thought patterns and patterns of action. The mindset of entering into the realm, namely the implementation of activities carried out in the ISBI Bandung environment must be able to incorporate elements of the basic values of character into each activity carried out. The pattern of action can be in the form of building synergy between lecturers and students. The synergy between lecturers and students is an intellectual capital to realize success.

Dari hasil perhitungan, bahan poros dipilih dengan Carbon Steel AISI 9255 dengan d=40mm untuk poros pada roda depan dan d=35 mm untuk poros pada pulley ==================================================================================================================================== The process of moving salt from the crystal table to the temporary storage area is currently relatively slow, because it is carried out by carrying 40 kg each. So it's less efficient. To overcome this problem, the author feels it is necessary to plan a salt transport tool so that the process of transferring salt crystals becomes more efficient. The planned transportation equipment is capable of carrying 250 kg. The first step in planning this tool is to conduct a survey of the salt pond, then design a design for the salt transport tool according to your needs. The next step is to plan and calculate the components of the machine elements. The planning and calculations are carried out on the shafts, pins and bearings, especially those found in the tool that has been designed. The final step in the planning process is to evaluate the results of the calculations carried out. From the results obtained, it was concluded that the planning and calculation of machine elements in the form of shafts, pins and bearings had met the requirements criteria. From the calculation results, the axle material was chosen as Carbon Steel AISI 9255 with d=40mm for the axle on the front wheel and d=35 mm for the axle on the pulle
