Internship Report on Azmir Leather Industry of Bangladesh
No full textMd. Mustafa Miah started a tannery business in Hazaribagh Dhaka. He started to collect rawhide from the local dealers’ and sells those to the well-established tanners. He began to make a profit and save it for the establishment of his own tannery. Finally, he built a 5 storied building in Hazaribagh and started his own tannery in 1977. He named the tannery Dilbahar tannery. At the time all the work of the tanning process was done manually. The finished leather was sold at the local market and to dealers. Then the tannery shifted to Savar.
There are 113 tanneries in Bangladesh. Azmir Leather is one of them and this report is based on my internship in Azmir Leather Industry. Some tanneries produce leather and footwear but Azmir Leather produces different types of leather only. It is a 100% export-oriented tannery which is well known for its premium quality of leather.
The report consists of eight chapters. In Chapter One, the introduction, and all types of methods were described. In Chapter Two, the Background of the company, Vision, Mission, Advantages and Disadvantages, SWOT analysis, Value Chain Analysis, Equipment’s and Production Process are briefly described. In Chapter Three, I described the local market, international market, target market. Chapter four consists of the information on various competitors of Azmir Leather. Chapter five describes the branding process of manufacturing industries along with identifying and building long-term relationships with the targeted customers.
Besides these, the rest three chapters (six, seven, and eight) describe the varieties of leathers along with their recommended products, Export earnings of Azmir Leather, and Conclusions & Recommendations respectively. Azmir leather industry has many competitors in the industry. Apex is one of the big and significant competitors in the industry. They use high-end technology and produce a wide variety of items while Azir leather is a small producer with minimum variety to offer in the market

Hetero core fiber sensor / Nor Azmir Ariffin
Full text linkHetero core fiber sensor is the sensor characterized by a short-length, different core-size fiber insertion in a fiber as a transmission network line. The fiber that we used in this research is single mode fiber which is 9-5-9 type. The 9-5-9 type utilizes a single mode fiber whose core diameter is 9um as the transmission line in which the hetero-core portion of 5 urn core diameter is inserted. Since the core diameter of 5 urn at the hetero-core portion could be large enough to support single mode propagation, most of power can pass through this hetero-core region with a relatively small loss. Single mode beam in the transmission fiber will partially leaks into a cladding at an interface boundary between the transmission fiber and the hetero-core part. In this research we designed and simulate the hetero-core sensor by using computer software. We use CAMFR, MathCad and BEAMPROP software. Simulation of hetero core fiber is to investigate the value of reflection and transmission coefficient in straight and bend of hetero core fiber sensor. Then based on the transmission and reflection coefficient value, we can determine the characteristic of the hetero core fiber sensor. We can apply hetero core fiber sensor for door sensor and detect the landslide

No full textThe main objective of this project is to develop a smart system - Real Time Schedule Detection by using Adobe Dreamweaver as the web interface, Adobe ColdFusion as server software and Microsoft Office Access as the database. This project requires data from ICReSS. The system is basically an online web application which has the ability to search the lecturer's class at a specific day or time. The proposed project is an enhancement feature (function) of ICReSS. This system use information retrieval concept by supplying specific parameters to build a query. The design and implementation of search engine concept can help people to efficiently search for useful information. The search tool, which is a search utility, looks for information in the database and reports the result of the searching task to users via website interface. The advantages of this system are its ability to search faster, reliable, up to date and can be use by unlimited number of users. The system is targeted to be used by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering staff
Factors affecting performance of Malaysia stock market/ Azmir Kamarudin
Full text linkThe Malaysia stock market which is FBM KLCI, it comprises of 30 big companies stock price from different industries representing the stock index of Malaysia. This paper analyses the relationship between the KLCI and three independent variables, which is oil price, exchange rate and DJIA. The data collected is from website investing.com from the year 2007 until 2017. Using the series data, findings show that there is no significant relationship between KLCI and oil price and exchange rate. But there is a positive significant relationship between KLCI and DJIA. However, correlation matrix shows that all variables tested has strong relations to KLCI. This paper aims to prove that U.S stock markets and other variables have influence the Malaysian stock market

No full textThis report describes the Fuzzy logic technology to fuse the available information for spatial load forecasting. The developed program is performed by Fuzzy Tech Version 5.12. Different approach in spatial load forecasting based on land usage load modeling has been used to improve the performance of distribution load forecasting. Fuzzy Logic is applied in this forecast to aggregate appropriate geographic information to formulate future load growth based on different anticipated scenarios. For the purpose of this project, the Mamdani type of fuzzy controller was used. The assessment of the program has been obtained after making a comparison of the target load. The performance of the developed is also discussed in this report. The proposed scheme can provide distribution planners other alternatives to aggregate their information for spatial load forecasting
