Tämä opinnäytetyö on tutkimustyyppinen työ, jossa tutkimuksen kohteena on Kuopion yli-opistollisen sairaalan käytössä oleva itseilmoittautumisen mobiilisovellus, jolla sairaalaan saapuvat potilaat pystyvät tekemään ilmoittautumisen ennalta varattuun ajanvaraukseen. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja oli IT-alan yritys CGI Suomi Oy. Työn tavoitteena oli ITTE-mobiilisovelluksen käyttäjäkokemuksen mittaaminen. ITTE-mobiilisovellus otettiin käyttöön asiakkaallamme toukokuussa 2018 ja käyttäjäkokemusta kerättiin sovellusta käyttäviltä henkilöiltä, eli sairaalaan saapuvilta potilailta. ITTE-mobiilisovellus täydentää ITTE-itseilmoittautumisautomaatteja, tarjoten sairaalaan saapuville potilaille vaihtoehtoisen ja nopeamman ilmoittautumistavan. ITTE-mobiilisovelluksen käyttäjäkokemus kerättiin potilailta haastatteluiden kautta. Potilaita haastateltiin Kuopiossa 24. – 25.9.2018.

In April 2006 we submitted a proposal for a study into the experiences of teacher educators who have engaged with developing the use of ICT in school and teacher education. The aim was to give voice to the achievements and concerns of these teacher educators during the short history of ICT in school. In so doing we aimed to: draw attention to initiatives which have been more successful than others and highlight the factors leading to their success highlight particular difficulties associated with developing ICT report on the factors which have provoked and sustained engagement with the development of ICT examine the role of ITTE and other professional groups in supporting innovation with ICT compare and contrast the present with the past ‘landscape’ regarding the use of IC

An overview of the Japanese quotative itta and itte ita

Abstract The present study provides an overview of the quotative utterances made with itta (past form of iu ‘to say’) and itte ita (the combination of iu and the past form of the -te iru construction) in naturally occurring conversations in Japanese. The examination of approximately 13 hours of conversations shows that itta is used in 91.1% of first-person quotations (‘I said that…’). In second-person (‘you said that…’) and third-person (‘he/she said that…’) quotations, itte ita is used in 90.0%, and 77.3% of the cases, respectively. The present study argues that the high percentage of itte ita for second- and third-person quotative utterances is due to the fact that the -te iru construction, which is included in itte ita, is used as an evidential marker. The present study also analyzes the deviant cases from the dominant pattern (i.e. using itta for third-person utterances), and demonstrates how -te iru’s evidential function is utilized manipulatively in conversation.</jats:p

The Evolution of Initial Teacher Training and Education (ITTE) in England (2010–2024)

Situated within the context of persistent teacher shortages and tensions between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and government, Initial Teacher Training and Education (ITTE) in England underwent significant transformation through a series of Conservative policies. Key reforms over this period, including the growth of school-based ITTE, the implementation of a government-mandated curriculum, and a reaccreditation process for all providers, have redefined the landscape and roles of parties involved in preparing new teachers at the start of their careers. This chapter explores two phases of policy reform in ITTE: the initial rapid expansion of school-based provision and the standardisation of content and quality through prescriptive frameworks such as the Core Content Framework (CCF). While these policies sought to improve recruitment and raise standards in ITTE, they also intensified tensions between providers and limited curriculum flexibility, resulting in an increasingly homogenised ITTE landscape. Despite reforms designed to improve teacher recruitment, there still exists the challenge of addressing teacher shortages in schools. The chapter concludes by reflecting on the resilience and innovation of teacher educators across the sector and the enduring role of HEIs amid a landscape of rapid and radical change
