How an artist deals with loss: The process of getting over a loved one\u27s death

    No full text
In my bachelor\u27s thesis, I explored the process of grieving primarily through my personal experience of loss. I analysed relevant psychological literature on the topic, both old and contemporary. I then delved deeper into this topic by examining concrete examples of how both artists and laypeople alike have coped with grief. I was particularly interested in the intersection of the world of art and everyday life, seeing as mourning is one of the areas where the two have often intertwined throughout history. Lastly, I explored the concept of art therapy and created an experimental film which combines various animation techniques and live-action elements, serving as my personal form of art therapy. In the final part of my thesis, I described my filmmaking process, from the initial idea and screenplay to the final product

V praktičnem delu bom s fotografijo s pomočjo tehnike dolge zaslonke in istočasnega premika prikazal pogled nevrodivergentne osebe. Pri tem bom poudaril simptom hipersenzibilnosti. Končni rezultat bo prostor, kjer se bo predvajala projekcija z raznimi senzoričnimi motilci, vizualno bodo fotografije barvno in kontrastno nasičenedodal bom več slojev avdiotornih motilcev, kot sta srčni utrip, zvok ure itd.stol, s katerega bo gledalec gledal projekcijo, bo obložen s frnikolami. Cilj je sprožiti vse čute in pri tem vzbuditi hipersenzibilnost. In my thesis, I will discuss the perspective of a neurodivergent person during an interaction and the connection between neurodiversety and the LGBTQ+ community. In the theoretical part, I will describe the meaning of neurodivergence and the LGBTQ+ community, the oppression of these minorities (everything from exclusion from society to exclusive surroundings), a professional explanation of the connection between them, the similarities and differences between these groups, and how the lack of knowledge about neurodivergence and the LGBTQ+ community harms the entire society. I will also analyze the reference authors and the techniques. In the practical part, I will show the perspective of a neurodivergent person through photography using the long shutter speed and simultaneous shift technique. With this, I will point out the hyperawareness. The result will be a space, where a projection will play, with many sensory triggers - visually, the photographs will be saturated in color and contrastI will add multiple layers of auditory stimulations such as a heartbeat, the sound of a clock, etc.the chair from which the viewer will watch the projection will be taped with marbles. The goal is to trigger all senses so people will feel the hyperawareness

Čezmejna didaktika čezmejne literature podpira pouk književnosti v čezmejnih prostorih in v tem okviru razvija kompetence zgodovinskega mišljenja in razbiranja konteksta. This introductory study of cross-border teaching theory of cross-border literature draws attention to the current challenges of teaching literature in cross-border areas at the primary and secondary levels. It takes as its starting point the model of contact-based language learning and teaching (CoBLaLT), from which it adopts the method of social constructivism and the activities of cross-border classes. The cross-border teaching theory of cross-border literature supports the teaching of cross-border literature in cross-border areas. Because cross-border literature traditionally belongs to different national literary histories and is usually written in different languages, this requires a comparative methodological approach supported by textual and imagological analysis and creative writing. It is also necessary to develop students’ skills in historical thinking and understanding contexts. The cross-border teaching theory of cross-border literature is therefore seen as a way to develop students’ lifelong skills for living well in cross-border areas

Amine-cation-driven heteroannulation of halomaleimides with C–N cleavage

Maleimides and their derivatives are highly versatile scaffolds with broad applications in synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and materials sciencehowever, methods to expand their structural diversity remain limited. Here, we present a so far undescribed, metal-free, and mild strategy for the rapid construction of functionalized maleimides from readily available dihalomaleimide derivatives. The reaction is initiated by tertiary amine-mediated formation of an ammonium cation, which directs heteroannulation to efficiently generate heterobicyclic scaffolds. This modular approach also enables the synthesis of 3,4-diamino-substituted maleimides, including challenging second halogen substitutions with weak nucleophiles. Mechanistic studies indicate that a quaternary enamine intermediate plays a central role in steering the transformation, providing broad functional group tolerance and synthetically useful yields. Overall, this strategy offers a versatile platform for accessing structurally diverse maleimides, unlocking new opportunities in bioconjugation, medicinal chemistry, and materials science

Reducing power consumption in optical access networks

The growing demand for broadband services has led to thewidespread deployment of optical access networks (OANs).However, as these networks expand, energy consumption isbecoming an increasingly important economic and environ-mental issue. In this paper, we analyze the energy savings ofthe transition from a point-to-point (P2P) optical architecture toa gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) with a point-to-multipoint (P2MP) architecture. We present a comparativeanalysis of the energy requirements of both architectures, focus-ing on active and passive components, and evaluate theirimpact on overall energy consumption. Using a case study ofthe migration of a real optical network operator’s network, weshow that power consumption decreased significantly after theintroduction of GPON
