Multiculturalité dans les secondes langues: la littérature comme une ressource en Éducation primaire
Get PDFIn this paper we present research about the importance of literature from multiple cultural backgrounds in the second language classroom. The literature review supports a proposal for specific readings. These are used as an example on how to incorporate texts in the classroom that motivate the development of cultural and communicative competences for students of English as a second language in a primary education context.En este artículo presentamos una investigación que versa sobre la importancia de la literatura de contextos culturales múltiples en el aula de segundas lenguas. En concreto, la revisión bibliográfica está encaminada a apoyar la propuesta de algunas lecturas que sirvan como ejemplo de cómo llevar a cabo en el aula de Educación Primaria la lectura de textos literarios que sustenten la competencia cultural y comunicativa del discente de inglés como lengua extranjera en Educación Primaria.Cet article présente un travail de recherche portant sur l’importance d’introduire la littérature provenant de contextes multiculturels dans le cadre de l’enseignement de langues étrangères. Get PDFWe analyze the films Keyhole (2011), by Guy Maddin, and H. (2014), by Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia, taking the point of view of the methodology of Myth Criticism for searching Homeric topics in both productions. A different conception of time (in the form of a loop and abduction, respectively) and the tangential perspective in mythological narratives (from the point of view of Telemachus and Helen of Troy in both films, and not by the principal characters) constitute two elements of the ironic contemporary approach to the themes of homeric epic.Se analizan los filmes Keyhole (2011), de Guy Maddin, y H. (2014), de Rania Attieh y Daniel Garcia, desde la perspectiva del Myth Criticism, a partir de los motivos homéricos presentes en sendas producciones. Una concepción diferente del tiempo (en forma de bucle y de abducción respectivamente) y la perspectiva tangencial en los relatos mitológicos (enfocados desde el punto vista de Telémaco y Helena de Troya en una y otra películas y no desde sus protagonistas primordiales) constituyen dos de los elementos del enfoque irónico que la contemporaneidad hace de los temas de la épica homérica

Get PDFEl objetivo de este trabajo es contribuir al establecimiento de unas bases teóricas para el estudio del problema histórico (e historiográfico) que constituye la existencia de un conjunto de ciudades hispanas denominadas oppida veteris Latii por Plinio el Viejo. Para ello, tras la definición del problema de investigación, se presentan las distintas interpretaciones acerca del origen y la naturaleza de este tipo de comunidades. Puesta de manifiesto la inoperatividad de tales interpretaciones, se ofrece una explicación histórica diferente basada en un análisis técnico de la descripción administrativa de las provincias romanas de Occidente realizada por Plinio. El resultado es la formulación de una nueva hipótesis de investigación que permite explicar la presencia de estos oppida veteris Latii en Hispania a partir de la existencia de un conjunto probable de viejas colonias latinas republicanas transformadas por Augusto en municipios latinos. El trabajo finaliza con una propuesta cronológica acerca del contexto en el que pudo producirse su transformación estatuaria.This work aims to contribute to the creation of new theoretical bases for the study of the oppida veteris Latii in Hispania. These Hispanian towns, mentioned only by Pliny the Elder in his Naturalis historia, cause an important historical (and historiographical) problem due to their chronological origin and legal-administrative nature. The first part of this paper is concerned on the definition of the study question, followed by an overview of the interpretations made by scholars on both issues. As these are proven to be invalid, mainly because of their inherent contradictions, an alternative historical explanation is proposed, basing on a thorough Pliny the Elder’s account analysis. The result is a new research hypothesis, which explains the existence of the oppida veteris Latii in Hispania on the basis of an old group of Republican Latin colonies which were changed into municipia Latina by Augustus. Finally, a chronological framework for the context in which this administrative change could have taken place is provided
Cosmodern Philosophy: Transdisciplinary Reflections on Nature, Science, and Religion

Se dirigen a fenómenos complejos de nuestra realidad ontológica desde una perspectiva donde ciencia y religión se funden para dar paso a la filosofía cosmoderna. Como resultado, surge una ética global para reinventar lo sagrado como producto de la integración entre cosmovisiones religiosas y científicas. También se describe un diálogo interreligioso e intra-religioso donde la naturaleza y el cosmos constituyen el encuentro entre conocimiento científico y religioso. En resumen, el enfoque cosmoderno sostiene que aprender a co-evolucionar conscientemente requiere el desarrollo de una ecología de saberes, donde el conocimiento físico externo y la sabiduría espiritual interna convergen y se complementan en diferentes niveles de nuestra experiencia.This article’s transdisciplinary reflections aim to study the relationship between nature, science, and religion. They address complex phenomena of our ontological reality from a perspective in which science and religion merge to give way to the cosmodern philosophy. As result, a global ethics emerges to reinvent the sacred as the product of integration between religious and scientific worldviews. It also describes an interreligious and intra-religious dialogue where nature and the cosmos constitute the meeting between scientific and religious knowledge. In sum, the cosmodern approach argues that learning to co-evolve consciously requires the development of an ecology of knowledge, where outer physical knowledge and inner spiritual wisdom converge and complement each other on different levels of our experience

Get PDFEn este artículo se analiza el significado simbólico del petroglifo de Los Aulagares, en Zalamea la Real (Huelva, España). Éste se explica como el resultado de varias rogativas por la lluvia. Se representaron allí las gotas del agua solicitada y una divinidad solar. Esta manifestación de arte rupestre se puede fechar a fines del III milenio a.C. Se produjo entonces una rápida e importante evolución climática –el evento 4.2 cal BP– que aumentó la aridez en el sur de la península ibérica. Los datos paleoambientales de Andalucía y La Mancha, pero también el análisis estilístico de los grabados, permiten fechar el petroglifo e interpretarlo como una respuesta religiosa al problema de la persistente sequía.The symbolic meaning of the petroglyph of Los Aulagares, in Zalamea la Real (Huelva, Spain), is analysed in this article. It is explained as the result of several prayers for rain. There they were represented a solar divinity and the drops of the desired water. This manifestation of rock art can be dated at the end of the third millennium BC. There was then an rapid and important climatic evolution –the event 4.2 cal BP– that increased aridity in the south of the Iberian peninsula. Paleoenvironmental data from Andalusia and La Mancha, but also the stylistic analysis of the engravings, enable to date and interpret the petroglyph as a religious response to the problem of constant drought
Food diversity according to religious prescriptions: legal issues
Get PDFEste trabajo pretende un acercamiento jurídico a la cuestión de las implicaciones de las diversas creencias religiosas en la alimentación. Para empezar, se realizará en el mismo un análisis descriptivo de cómo el hecho religioso influye y condiciona el consumo alimentario de las personas creyentes, acercándonos tanto a las tres religiones mayoritarias o más representativas de nuestro país (la cristiana- católica, la judía y la musulmana) como también a varias religiones minoritarias. Seguidamente, pasaremos a observar y señalar las obligaciones que se desprenden del Derecho español en torno a esta faceta. Finalmente, una vez analizados estos dos ámbitos y con lo que ellos nos ilustren, centraremos el objetivo principal de este estudio en dar nuestra opinión sobre si se trata éste de un tema o una cuestión jurídica que dependa de un legislador o si se trata, por el contrario, de una cuestión que pertenece más a la esfera interna de los ciudadanos.This paper seeks a legal approach to the question of the implications of various religious beliefs in food. To begin with, it will be made a descriptive analysis of how the religious event influences and conditions the food consumption of believers, approaching both the three majoritarian or most representative religions of our country (the Christian-Catholic, the Jewish and the Muslim) as well as several minority religions. Next, we will go on to observe and point out the obligations arising from Spanish Law regarding this aspect. Finally, once these two areas have been analyzed and with what they illustrate, we will focus the main objective of this study giving our opinion on whether this is an issue that depends on the Law and that depend on a legislator or if, on the contrary, it is a question that belongs more to the internal sphere of citizens
