Killing Superalgebras in 2 Dimensions
No full textWe provide some examples of Killing superalgebras on 2-dimensional pseudo-Riemannian manifolds within the theoretical framework established in [SIGMA 21 (2025), 081, 61 pages]. We compute the Spencer cohomology group H²’²(₋; ) and filtered deformations of the non-chiral flat model (Euclidean and Poincaré) superalgebra for various Dirac currents and show these arise as Killing superalgebras for (imaginary) geometric Killing and skew-Killing spinors in both Riemannian and Lorentzian signature.The author would like to thank José Figueroa-O’Farrill, under whose supervision this work was done, for his guidance and patience. Analysis of applicability of approximate approaches in determining critical wrinkling trains of thin film on semi-bounded substrate
No full textІз застосуванням співвідношень лінеаризованої теорії стійкості деформівних тіл досліджено задачу плоскої деформації про формування зморшок на поверхні бішарової системи під час її стискання вздовж межі поділу середовищ. Матеріали бішарової системи, що складається з напівобмеженої підкладки, яка вкрита тонкою більш жорсткою, ніж підкладка, плівкою, вважаються високоеластичними з довільною структурою їх пружних потенціалів. Для визначення критичних деформацій, що відповідають початку зморщування, та критичних значень довжин хвиль відповідну крайову задачу, сформульовану в термінах потенціальних гармонічних функцій, зведено до розв’язання трансцендентного рівняння, яке досліджується чисельно. Отримані критичні значення порівнюються з аналогічними значеннями, одержаними з використанням відомих наближених формул.Using the relations of the linearized theory of stability of deformable bodies, the plane strain problem of the wrinkling of the surface of a bilayer system under its compression along the interface is investigated. The materials of a bilayer system consisting of a semi-constrained substrate coated with a thin film stiffer than the substrate are considered to be hyperelastic with an arbitrary structure of their elastic potentials. To determine the critical strains corresponding to the onset of wrinkling and the critical values of wavelengths, the corresponding boundary value problem, formulated in terms of potential harmonic functions, is reduced to a transcendental equation, which is investigated numerically. The obtained critical values are compared with similar values obtained by known approximate formulas

Після початку повномасштабного вторгнення РФ в Україну в Інституті започатковано цільові дослідження, спрямовані на аналіз впливу наслідків бойових дій на довкілля, суспільну та економічну сфери держави. Війна спонукала до докорінного переосмислення пріоритетів міського розвитку, шляхів досягнення збалансованості та забезпечення інтегрованого повоєнного розвитку міст і регіонів України. Результати цих робіт становлять наукове підґрунтя для оцінки масштабів людських втрат, екологічних, соціальних та економічних збитків, завданих агресором.The report states that the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of the leading institutions that has been conducting research on the development and implementation of the principles of Ukraine’s transition to sustainable development for many years. Aft er the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, the Institute launched targeted research aimed at analyzing the impact of the consequences of hostilities on the environment, social and economic spheres of the state. The war prompted a fundamental rethinking of urban development priorities, ways to achieve a balanced and integrated post-war development of Ukrainian cities and regions. The results of these studies provide a scientific basis for assessing the scale of human losses, environmental, social and economic damage caused by the aggressor

No full textУ доповіді розглянуто сучасний стан досліджень у галузі фізики елементарних частинок та фізики високих енергій. Особливу увагу приділено вивченню екзотичних форм сильновзаємодійної матерії, які виникають у релятивістських колайдерних експериментах. Описано перспективи найсучасніших і майбутніх експериментів, спрямованих на дослідження фазової діаграми квантової хромодинаміки, зокрема пошук проявів гіпотетичного фазового переходу між кварк-глюонною плазмою та адронним газом, а також критичної точки. Обговорено необхідність розвитку теоретичних моделей для опису процесу зіткнення важких ядер за релятивістських енергій. Окремо розглянуто останні досягнення в інтегрованій гідрокінетичній моделі та наведено деякі її результати, що стосуються моделювання експериментів на Релятивістському колайдері важких іонів.This report provides an overview of the current state of research in elementary particle physics and high-energy physics, with a particular focus on studying exotic forms of strongly interacting matter that arise in collider experiments. It outlines the latest and upcoming experiments aimed at exploring the quantum chromodynamics phase diagram, emphasizing the search for signals of a potential phase transition between quark-gluon plasma and hadronic gas, as well as the identification of the critical point. The report underscores the need for developing theoretical models to describe heavy-ion collision processes at relativistic energies. Additionally, recent advancements in the integrated hydrodynamic model and its extension to GeV-range experiments are discussed. Several simulation results related to the search for phase transition signals in experiments at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider are also presented.Автор висловлює подяку Юрію Синюкову, співавтору результатів, представлених у доповіді. Three letters from the military office of Charles XII
No full textУ статті перекладено українською мовою з латини три шведські джерела. У них повідомляється про вибори нового гетьмана, діяльність запорозьких козаків і про звірства московитів стосовно кубанських козаків, а також про підтримку останніх Карлом ХІІ і кримським ханом. Листи були виявлені у Державному архіві Швеції у вересні 2021 р. Вони частково введені в науковий обіг. Більшість цих документів залишається відсканованою і доступною для досліджень на окремій сторінці Держархіву Швеції, присвяченій політичній історії України1. Стаття має на меті привернути увагу українських дослідників до віднайдених архівних документів, перекладу та публікації їх в Україні.This article provides a translation of three Swedish sources into Ukrainian from Latin. They report on the election of a new hetman, activities of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks, and atrocities committed by Muscovites against the Kuban Cossacks, as well it mention support for the Kuban Cossacks from Charles XII and the Crimean khan. These letters were discovered in the State archives of Sweden in September 2021 and have been partially introduced into academic circulation. Most of these documents have been scanned and are available for research on a dedicated page of the State archives of Sweden, devoted to the political history of Ukraine. The article aims to draw the attention of Ukrainian researchers to the newly discovered archival documents, their translation, and publication in Ukraine
Regional policy vs spatial shifts in Ukraine’s economy: searching for answers to current issues
No full textУ статті визначено сучасні тренди та ризики просторових зрушень економіки України, обґрунтовано пріоритети державної регіональної політики в контексті відповідей на актуальні виклики. В умовах повномасштабної війни РФ проти України та окупації територій інструментарій регулювання просторового розвитку економіки виявився неефективним, що зумовлює необхідність переосмислення методології регіональної політики, її завдань та механізмів реалізації. Основними напрямами вдосконалення державної регіональної політики в контексті сучасних викликів визначено практичну імплементацію територіально орієнтованого підходу в практику управління розвитком регіонів та громад; удосконалення системи стратегічного та просторового планування розвитку територій України; формування інституційної системи використання коштів європейських фондів (зокрема, в межах реалізації програми Ukraine Facility); завершення реформування місцевого самоврядування і територіальної організації влади в Україні, зокрема організації публічної влади на регіональному та субрегіональному рівнях.The purpose of this article is to identify the current trends and risks associated with spatial shift s in Ukraine’s economy and to justify the priorities of state regional policy in addressing these emerging challenges. The spatial development model of Ukraine’s economy, inherited from the USSR, has led to interregional economic disintegration, the gradual exclusion of certain territories from the national economic space, and an intensification of regional confrontations. Amidst the Russian occupation of Ukrainian territories and the ongoing full-scale war, the existing toolkit for managing the spatial development of the economy has proven ineffective, necessitating a re-evaluation of regional policy methodologies, objectives, and implementation mechanisms. The article identifies primary areas for enhancing state regional policy in response to modern challenges: implementing a territorially-oriented approach to regional and community development management; improving the strategic and spatial planning system for Ukraine’s territories; developing an institutional framework for utilizing European funds (particularly within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program); and completing the reform of local self-government and the territorial organization of power in Ukraine, including the establishment of public authority at the regional and subregional levels
