Pedagogical and scientific activity of S.H. Baran-Butovich (1877–1944): historiography of the problem
No full textСтаття присвячена аналізу літератури, яка стосується діяльності відомого українського історика, археолога, краєзнавця та педагога С.Г. Барана-Бутовича. Мета статті: з’ясувати ступінь висвітлення у вітчизняній історіографії усіх аспектів діяльності С.Г. Барана-Бутовича. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у здійсненні історіографічного аналізу основних праць, які так чи інакше стосуються С.Г. Барана-Бутовича і в загальному контексті висвітлюють його діяльність. Методологічна основа роботи ґрунтується на базі біографічного методу, з використанням принципів наукової об’єктивності, комплексності, системності та історизму. Висновки. У статті опрацьовано основний історіографічний матеріал і простежено динаміку дослідження діяльності С.Г. Барана-Бутовича вітчизняними науковцями. Історіографічні дослідження, присвячені С.Г. Барану-Бутовичу, починалися зі згадок у закордонних публікаціях 1962 р. Поступово зацікавленість його діяльністю пожвавилася, і нині ця постать становить інтерес для фахівців з різних напрямів – історики, археологи, музеєзнавці. Попри це, певні періоди життя та діяльності С.Г. Барана-Бутовича досі є недостатньо дослідженими.The article is devoted to the analysis of literature related to the activities of the famous Ukrainian historian, archaeologist, local historian and teacher S.H. Baran-Butovych. The purpose of the article: to find out the degree of coverage of all aspects of the activity of S.H. Baran-Butovych in domestic historiography. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the implementation of a complex historiographical analysis of works that in one way or another relate to S.H. Baran-Butovych and in the general context highlight his various activities. The methodological basis of the work is based on the biographical method, using the principles of scientific objectivism, complexity, systematicity, and historicism. Conclusions. The article elaborates the main historiographical material and traces the dynamics of research into the activities of S.H. Baran-Butovych by domestic scientists. Historiographic studies devoted to S.H. Baran-Butovych, began with mentions in foreign publications in 1962. Gradually, interest in his activities revived, and now specialists of various fields are showing interest in his person – historians, archaeologists, museum experts. Despite this, certain periods of the life and activity of S.H. Baran-Butovych are still under-researched

On the issue of evil spirits in hagiographical literature
No full textУ XXI ст. під час російсько-української війни здається, що світ захоплений злом, яке множиться і стає все могутнішим. Тому народився задум визначити, як боролися зі злими духами та одержимістю наші предки. Метою розвідки є дослідити на матеріалі давньої літератури існування зла. За метод обрано текстологічний аналіз історичних, художніх і агіографічних текстів. Основний матеріал дослідження – власне Біблія, агіографічні твори, які включають житія отців Церкви з Візантії, Єгипту, України. Для ілюстрації боротьби з одержимістю та чаклунством використано факти, зафіксовані істориками і письменниками XI–XIII ст., українськими теологами та полемістами XVII ст. і дослідниками XIX cт. Найдавніші писемні джерела цілого світу вказують на існування злих духів і боротьбу людей з ними. Тож доречний висновок, що дуальність світу, з його добром і злом, завжди цікавила людство, відтак є актуальною і сьогодні. На цю тему проводять богословські диспути, практикують молитви для позбавлення від злих сил, пишуть книжки та знімають кінофільми.In the 21st c., during the Russian-Ukrainian war, it seems that the world is captured by evil, which is multiplying and becoming more and more powerful. Therefore, the idea was born to determine how our ancestors fought against evil spirits and possession. The purpose of the publication is to investigate the existence of evil on the basis of ancient literature. The textual analysis of historical, artistic and hagiographic texts was chosen as the method. The main material of the research is the Bible itself, hagiographical works that include the lives of the church fathers from Byzantium, Egypt, and Ukraine. Facts recorded by historians and writers of the 11th– 13th c., Ukrainian theologians and polemicists of the 17th c. were used to illustrate the fight against obsession and witchcraft, and researchers of the 19th c. too. The oldest written sources of the whole world affirm the existence of evil spirits and the struggle of people with them. Therefore, it is appropriate to conclude that the duality of the world, with its good and evil, has always interested humanity, so it is still relevant today. Theological debates are conducted on this topic, prayers are practiced to get rid of evil forces, books are written and movies are shot
On certain nonlinear wave effect, which occurs when the second harmonic is generating
No full textЗасвідчено існування (описано і прокоментовано) нелінійного хвильового ефекту, який супроводжує класичний ефект утворення другої гармоніки гармонічної хвилі на виході з квадратично нелінійного середовища, коли на вході генерується перша гармоніка. Ефект полягає в несиметричному деформуванні профіля другої гармоніки, яке відбувається з моменту початку руху хвилі і виявляється в зміщенні нулів вліво та вершин вверх. В результаті поєднання двох ефектів — присутності другої гармоніки в другому наближенні і деформуванні її класичного профіля — отриманий за двома наближеннями профіль стає несиметричним.The problem under consideration belongs to mechanics. A specific type of waves (plane longitudinal waves) and a specific propagation medium (nonlinear elastically deforming according to the Murnaghan model) are selected and analyzed. The main goal of the analysis is to detect and comment on a new mechanical wave phenomenon. As a result, the existence of the nonlinear wave effect is certified (described and commented on) that accompanies the classical effect of forming the second harmonic of a harmonic wave at the output of a quadratically nonlinear medium when the first harmonic is generated at the input. The effect consists in asymmetric deformation of the profile of the formed second harmonic, which appears at the beginning of the wave motion and manifests itself in the shift of zeros to the left and peaks upward. As a result of the combination of two effects — the presence of the second harmonic in the second approximation and the deformation of its classical profile — the profile obtained in the two approximations becomes asymmetric

The paper defines that by understanding the role of different types of fixed assets in business operations, organizations can prioritize investments, allocate resources effectively, and support long-term growth and profitability, consistent with the overall theme of fixed asset management and its importance to success strategies. It is noted that depending on the chosen strategy, an enterprise can focus either on maintaining existing capacities (simple reproduction) or on their renewal or expansion. Key strategies include comprehensive asset tracking and documentation, leveraging technologies such as the Internet of Things to monitor and collect data in real time, integrating asset management with ERP systems for centralized data management and analysis, adhering to accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and transparency, conducting a total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to make informed asset investment decisions, and aligning asset management practices with overall business objectives to maximize value and support strategic goals.
