Title devised by cataloguer from information supplied by photographer.; Signed by photographer.; Also available online at: http://nla.gov.au/nla.pic-vn5746489; Purchased from the photographer, 2011. The Diamentina Development Road runs from Mt Isa south through Boulia and Bedourie before turning towards Charleville. Incongrous though the many 'Floodway' signs along its length may appear, much of the road is subject to seasonal flooding when water deposited by monsoonal rains in northern Queensland flows south through the Channel Country
