Broad Arrow Tavern at Broad Arrow ghost town, Western Australia, 2013 /
Title from acquisitions documentation.; "The Broad Arrow Tavern and a couple dwellings are all that remains of the goldmining town of Broad Arrow. The town dates from 1896, and had a maximum population of 15000 during the gold rush years around the 1900s with 8 hotels and 2 breweries and its own stock exchange. The movie Nickel Queen was filmed there in 1971, using the town's remaining hotel, the Broad Arrow Tavern. The Tavern remains open for travellers today and is noted for having almost every wall covered with handwritten notes from past visitors.
