Abstract : Based on secondary data published by the center of educational assessment national education department, we can consider for in topic in any exam test. Research was condocted to describe the factors that cause low mastery learns high school math exam, for math and science program school year 2009/2010 in Jember district of north and east. This result show collection methods used are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The result show come from the cause of failness are insided or outside students, teachers do not understand the unfunction of teacher resource. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV MATA PELAJARAN IPS POKOK BAHASAN KEGIATAN EKONOMI DALAM MEMANFAATKAN SUMBER DAYA ALAM DENGAN METODE GUIDED DISCOVERY MELALUI PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA DI SDN SIDOMUKTI 02 JEMBER
Abstract : Social studies (IPS) has a purpose to build students to become good citizens, who have the knowledge, skills, and social awareness that are useful for themshelves and for the society and the country. However,in learning of social studies (IPS) in the fourth graders of SDN Sidomukti 02 Jember was still found some problems such as the methods that the teacher used was less innovativeand the teacher never used instructional media in teaching learning materials. This problem causes the students learning outcome slow. This problem could be solved by applying method guided discovery through play snake and ladders. The result shows that of the application method guided discovery through play snake and ladders can increase students learning outcomes. KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA PPL DALAM PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DAN TINGKAT KETEPATANNYA DALAM IMPLEMENTASI SERTA HUBUNGANNYADENGAN CAPAIAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI (SMA NEGERI DI KOTA JEMBER)
Abstract : Education is one of human cultural form which dynamic and full of development. Teacher is the most important part of the whole education sectors. Teacher is hoped to create an exciting learning proces. The success of a learning process can't be divided from learning models. The aims of this research are to know implementation precise degree and the relation with biology learning result. Method in this research is collecting data in form question form, documentation, and observation about implementation precise degree of learning model. Implementation precise degree of learning model from biology student is analyzed by using rate formula Fc(%). The relation between emplementation precise degree and biology learning result analyzed by using Pearson correlation and show that the result is not significant because (P) > 0,05 and has r=0,09, thats mean implementation precise degree of learning model hat low correlation with biology learning outcome. ANALISIS LEVEL PERTANYAAN PADA SOAL CERITA DALAM BUKU TEKS MATEMATIKA PENUNJANG SMK PROGRAM KEAHLIAN TEKNOLOGI, KESEHATAN, DAN PERTANIAN KELAS X TERBITAN ERLANGGA BERDASARKAN TAKSONOMI SOLO
Abstract : Textbooks are very important for students and teachers for learning process. The existency mathematics textbooks will be effective when it is adapted cognitive reader level. One aspect of mathematics textbooks that need to be adapted to the cognitive processing of the readers is the level of complexity of question, especially in the Narrative questions. This research is a descriptive study, the research aim to describe the level of questions on the matter of Narrative questions into level of Unistructural, Multistructural, Relational and Extended abstract question based on SOLO Taxonomy. The results show the percentage level of the whole reading exercise that contain in the vocational mathematics textbooks of skills programs technology, health, and agriculture class X, published by Erlangga based on SOLO taxonomy are, 2.34% for the Unistructural level, 47.65% for the Multistructural level and 50.01% for the Relational level. IMPROVING THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY ACHIEVEMENT AND STUDENTS’ ACTIVE PARTICIPATION BY USING PERSONAL VOCABULARY NOTES (PVN) AT MA AL-FALAH KAJAR BONDOWOSO IN THE 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR
Abstract. Vocabulary learning is one of the major challenges for language learners that face during the process of learning a language.One useful technique that used to build vocabulary and to assist students in becoming independent learners in learning a language was personal vocabulary notes.This articleis intended to describe the research finding on the use of Personal Vocabulary Notes technique in improving the tenth grade student’ vocabulary achievement and their participation. The design in this research was classroom action research.The criteria that used to determine the success of the implementation of the action are; (1) 70% of the students have achieved minimum requirement standard score that is 65. (2) 70% of the students are actively involved in the vocabulary teaching through Personal Vocabulary Notes technique. The primary data were obtained by using vocabulary test and classroom observation while the supporting data were obtained by using documentation. The results of the research showed that Personal Vocabulary Notes techniques could improve the students’ vocabulary achievement and students’ active participation. THE EFFECT OF USING ANIMATED PICTURES IN POWER POINT PRESENTATION ON THE SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ TENSE ACHIEVEMENT AT SMP NEGERI 2 BALUNG
Abstract : Tenses are very important in learning English because they become the basic knowledge in mastering the language skills. In English teaching and learning process, the students are expected to understand the materials given by the teacher. Animated pictures in power point presentation can be the appropriate teaching media and interesting materialsto teach tenses. The purpose of the research was to investigate the effect of using animated pictures in power point presentation on the seventh grade students’ tense achievement at SMP Negeri 2 Balung.The research design was quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. The primary data were collected from the scores of the pretest and posttest to compare the two different groups before and after the treatment, and the result was analyzed by using Independent sample T-Test (SPSS).The result of the research showed that the use of animated pictures in power point presentation had a significant effect on the seventh grade students’ tense achievement at SMP Negeri 2 Balung. THE EFFECT OF USING PROCEDURE VIDEOS ON THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ LISTENING COMPREHENSION ACHEIVEMENT AT SMAN 1 GIRI BANYUWANGI IN THE 2011 / 2012 ACADEMIC YEAR
Abstract : This research is about the effect of procedure videos in listening comprehension achievement. The used of procedure videos is to make the students more interested in English and motivated the teacher to find or to create a new method and materials in English, especially in listening class. The research objective was to know whether or not there was a significant effect of using Procedure Videos. The research design was quasi Experimental with post test only Control group design, the subject was the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Giri Banyuwangi 2011/2012 . The samples were the Experimental group (X-4) and the Control Group (X-1) determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using independent sample t-test of 5% significance level. The result of this research indicates that there is a significant effect of using Procedure Videos on the tenth grade students’ listening comprehension achievement at SMAN 1 Giri Banyuwangi in the 2011/2012 academic year. Abstract : The purpose of this research is to make less mistake of student during solve is a problem in a story term. We will use Cooperative Learning methods by using Think Pair Share. This research type of Classroom Actions Research (CAR) of two cycles, there are two meetings in each cycles. In the both cycle, we used arithmatics social. The data collecting methods are documentation, observation, test and interview. The data we analys mistake of student work sheet of exam, teacher’s activities, students’ activities and students’ test result. The Final result of students’ activities in this research from the first cycle to the second cycle has increased and also final result of students’ test result is increase then mistake of have been allay. THE EFFECT OF USING COMPOSITE PICTURES ON READING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS AT SMPN 2 TENGGARANG BONDOWOSO
Abstract. Reading is one of language skills that should be learnt by students because every activity in class involves reading. In fact, students generally feel bored and unmotivated in learning English especially in reading skill because English is different from Indonesian so that the students have difficulty in understanding reading English text. They do not know the meaning of some words in the text. Therefore, the teacher’s role becomes important in the teaching and learning process especially in teaching reading. Therefore, appropriate media should be chosen to motivate their students not only to read the text but also comprehend what they read. One of the media that can be used and applied by the teacher is Composite Pictures. A Composite Picture is a large single picture which shows a scene in which a number of people can be seen doing several things. Thus, to know whether or not there was a significant effect of using Composite Pictures on reading comprehension achievement; Composite Pictures was used as media in teaching reading in this research. PROFIL BELAJAR KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA AKSELERASI BERDASARKAN TEORI BRUNER DAN CARA BELAJAR LIANG GIE DI SMP NEGERI 3 JEMBER
Abstract : The comprehension of mathematic concept can be reached if a teacher can give optimal teaching and suitable with the student’s learning method. This research aims to know how do the acceleration student’s learning method in SMP N 3 Jember based on Bruner Theory and Liang Gie Learning method. Data collection methods are qoetionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The sources triagulation is used to examine a collected data validity. The research results shows that the learning method of acceleration students are: 1) learn a number theory, statistic, and probability by construction theory. 2) learn aljabar by notation theory, 3) learn geometry theory by construction theory, contrast and variation. 4) acceleration students always prepare themself before receive lessons; 5) active and critical when receive a lesson; 6) write down the understood things; 7) Learning interest is according by daily activities and if their concentration is going down, they will rest for a while and then continue again..
