    Studi Pengeringan Cabe dengan menggunakan Bath Drayer Bertenaga Listrik

    Aims of this study is determine performance of drying chile that use electric  energy. Type of dryer is bath dryer. Using of this study can be help farmers for to solve their problems in post harvest. This study use material and tools like (1) a set bath dryer with electric energy, (2) thermometer, (3) hygrometer, (4) oven, (5) balance, (6) chile and (7) others tool. The parameters in the study are temperatur (influence, material, dryer, out of material), relative humidity (influence, out of material), moisture content during drying with time intervals one hours and drying times. Depand on this experiment and discusions, can be conclusions that drying methode and making of dryer is easy, material for make dryer is easy to colect. Quality of final product is good, drying efficience is 22,36%, and final moisture content 7% dry base (drying time is 14 hours)

    Performance of Several Mungbean Lines Resulted from Mutation of Co-60 Gamma Rays Irradiation. Sri Hartati, 23 pages. The objectives of the research were to evaluate the agronomic traits of the fourth generation (M3) of mungbean mutants and to get at least one potential genotype for further selection in order to achieve a new high yielding variety. He research was done in Grumosol of Joho Mojolaban, Sukoharjo.The experimental design was completely randomized design with 12 treatments: G1/V1R0: the third generation of ‘Merpati’ with no radiation; G2/V1R1: the third generation of ‘merpati’ radiated at rate of 5 K rad; G3/ViR2: the third generation of ‘Merpati’ radiated at rate of 10 K rad; G4/V1R3: the third generation of ‘Merpati’ radiated at rate of 15 K rad; G5/V2R0: the third generation of ‘Camar’ with no radiation; G6/V2R1: the third generation of ‘Camar’ radiated at rate of 10 K rad; G7/V2R3: the third generation of ‘Camar’ radiated a rate of 15 K rad; G9/V3R0: the third generation of ‘Walet’ no with radiation; G10/V3R1: the third generation of ‘Walet’ radiated at rate of 5 K rad; G11/V3R2: the third generation of ‘Walet’ radiated at rate of 10 K rad; G12/V3R3: the third generation of ‘Walet’ radiated at rate of 15 K rad.The research conclude that weight of 1000 seeds and weight of seed per plot from the first to the fourth generation were achieved by ‘Walet’ variety irradiated at the rate of 10 K rad; and thus, this was the potential lines for further selection program

Perencanaan strategis merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam menghadapi kondisi lingkungan yang semakin cepat berubah dengan semakin kompleksnya permasalahan serta situasi kedepan yang semakin tidak pasti.Kajian ini membahas perencanaan strategis dalam pengembangan agroindustri jamu yang meliputi: analisis stakeholder, identifikasi isu strategis dan hambatan dalam perencanaan strategis. Dari hasil kajian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan agroindustri jamu harus dapat memenuhi kepuasan semua stakeholder yang terlibat.     This study aims to describe the contribution of agriculture sector based on superior sub-sector (base) in Bangka Regency. This research was conducted in November 2016 until May 2017 in Bangka Regency. This research uses survey method. The research uses secondary data which collected from several agencies in Bangka District. The method of analysis is Location Quotient (LQ). The result of research shows that Bakam District has one base sub-sector that is annual estate sub-sector; Belinyu District has two basic sub-sectors, namely livestock sub-sector and fishery sub-sector; Merawang District has three sub sectors namely horticultural crops sub-sector, fishery sub-sector, and livestock sub-sector; West Mendo District has two basic sub-sectors, namely food crops sub-sector and annual crop sub-sector and other horticulture sub-sector; Pemali District has two sub-sectors, namely food crops and annual plantation sub-sector; Puding Besar District has one sub-sector that is the annual plantation sub-sector; Riau Silip District has two sub-sectors of base, namely food crop sub-sector and plantation sub-sector yearly; and Sungailiat District has three sub sectors namely horticulture and annual crops sub sector, fishery sub-sector, and livestock sub-sector

    This research aims to: (1) getting data about woman farmer profile characteristic which managing beef cattle farm; (2) identifying requirement, supplementary and resistor factor of woman farmer in beef cattle farm development; and (3) to formulate the appropriate effort intervention to woman in management of beef cattle farm.It is descriptive method which used to explain woman farmer which managing beef cattle farm in Pagak village Sumberlawang Region Sragen District. Data was collected by interview technique with relevant stakeholders, interview with woman farmer which managing beef cattle farm to know their characteristic, FGD (Forum Group Discussion) with women farmer which managing beef cattle farm.Result of this research are: first, description of woman farmer profile manage beef cattle farm covering age, formal education, non-formal education, amount of cattle had, and status of ownership of cattle. Second, requirement, supplementary and resistor factor is known to relate at Seven Program of beef cattle farm i.e. election of seed, ready of woof, house, reproduction, management, time after harvest and marketing. Third, that woman farmer which managing beef cattle farm have big role in improving economic earnings of family, so that woman farmer require to be powered by unionized of grouping; then give them by training related to reinforcement their group, especially training of beef cattle farm woof ferment

    Land resource hoarding coal post is supporting agricultural development. Experiment on the use of the media to land former coal mines that are expected to become soil ameliorant media or media after seedlings seeds moved into the field. The purpose of this study is 1) Determining the growth of oil palm seedlings with soil medium former coal mining areas. 2) Determining the decanter solid dose of the best on the growth of oil palm seedlings on former pasture land of coal mines in the main nursery. Design of experiment was randomized block design (RBD) with 7 dose treatment levels of decanter solid, there is no decanter solid, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 g/polybag. Each treatment was replicated four times, so there are 28 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of three plants and as an each of them as plant sample, thus totally there are 84 plants. Observed variables include the increase of plant height, plant diameter (cm) and leaf area (cm2) as well as the rate of plant growth and Seed Quality Index. Results of the research show that in general the administration of decanter solid on the growth of seedlings of oil palm with former land area coal mines provide better growth on the plant height, diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, increase the rate of plant growth as well as seed quality index compared to oil palm seedlings without any decanter solid. Decanter solid 400 g/polybag is the best for the growth of oil palm seedlings

    The aims of the research were to know income and economic efficiency level of smallholder goat farming, and to know the factors affecting them. The research was held on April 12th-24th, 2000. The research was done using survey method and the samples were taken by purposive random sampling. Total respondents are 200 farmers. The research variables were income level (Y1) and economic efficiency (Y2) as dependent variables, and the independent variables were the number of goat owned, feed cost, farmer’s age, farmer’s education level, breeding experience, farming system, and farmer’s main job. The data are analyzed using multiple regression analysis with Cobb-Douglas production function model, F-test and t-test. The results of this research showed that income level of smallholder goat farming in Kradenan Subdistrict, Grobogan Regency is Rp.338.323,00 per year per farmer and economic efficiency level is 2,20. The socio-economic factors such the number of goat owned, feed cost, farmer’s age, farmer’s education level, breeding experience, farming system, and farmer’s main job altogether influence very significant (P<0,01) to income level and economic efficiency. Whereas partially, the number of goat owned, feed cost, breeding experience and farmer’s man job influence very significant (P<0,01) to income level, and the number of goat owned, feed cost and farming system influenced very significant (P<0,01) to economic efficiency

    Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata, L.) pada Beberapa Dosis Pupuk Organik dan Kerapatan Tanam

    Mungbean is one of the strategic annual food crops that needed by Indonesian people because of the high protein and minerals. Production of mungbean in Indonesia always decreases. Cultural improvements are needed to increase productivity i.e by appropriate fertilization and plant density. The experiment objective was to find out the optimum dosage of organic fertilizer and plant density for the growth and yield of mungbean. The experiment was carried out using factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor treatments were organic fertilizer which consisted of 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 ton ha-1, while the second-factor treatments were planted density which consisted of 1 and 2 plants in the hole. Organic fertilizer of 5 ton ha-1 gave the best result for plant height, number of branches, flowering age, number of pods, fresh weight and dried straw, weight of 100 seeds, number and weight of seeds, small of seeds number and P nutrient uptake of the plant. The 2 plants per hole gave the best result for branches number, pods number and number of small seeds. Application of 5 ton ha-1 organic fertilizer and 1 plant per hole gave better yield. No interaction of organic fertilizer and plant density to mungbean growth and yield
