The population mobility happened if there are difference value between urban and rural specially at the economic and opportunity of job aspect. The pattern of population mobility: permanent and non-permanent (circulair and commuting). Mobility pattern of responder in this research entirely represent non permanent mobility, consisting of mobility commute (63,3 percent) and also circulair mobility (36,7 percent). As for decision to do mobility because invited by their friend or family and also coincidence of this work is can access. This mobility affect positive to responder, social and also economics

Kadar Fe Organik dan P Tersedia pada Tanah Sawah Rawa Lebak yang Diaplikasi Kompos dan Pengelolaan Air di Poso

Non-tidal swamp rice field in Poso contain total Fe in a very high amount, ranging from 1,16% to 2,26%. In a reductive or very reductive condition, Fe solubility will be extremely high beyond the level where paddy can tolerate, hence causing toxicity in paddy. Application of compost is expected to chelate Fe and form organic Fe to decrease toxic effect in paddy. A greenhouse experiment was done treatment by 5 ton/ha of straw compost and cocoa pod compost in various combination to non-tidal swamp rice field in Korobono Poso regency. Under this factorial treatment, the first factor was composition of compost (100% straw compost, 75% straw compost + 25% cocoa pods compost, 50% straw compost + 50% cocoa pods compost, 25% straw compost + 75% cocoa pods compost, and 100% cocoa pods compost), and the second factor was water management (saturated irrigation and intermittent), arranged under completely randomized design (CRD). The observed component was the level of organic Fe and available P in soil. The research finding showed that the application of compost to non-tidal swamp rice field in Poso increased the level of organic Fe and available P in soil. The level of organic Fe and available P in soil with saturated irrigation was higher than with intermittent irrigation. The increased organic Fe tended to increased available P in the soil in non-tidal swamp rice field in Poso

The study aimed to determine which substrate and nutrition that gives the best result in improving growth and yield of Capsicum frutescens. The study design using CRD (completely randomized design) with two factors, namely substrates (6 levels: charcoal husks, fractional tiles, fractional bricks, arenga fiber, beach sand, husk steamed) and nutrition (2 levels: standards, standards with NPK). The study was conducted October 2015 until March 2016 in screen house Faculty of Agriculture, Sebelas Maret University. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and if significant difference continued with DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) level of 5%. The results showed that the kinds of substrates significantly affect all variables of Capsicum frutescens (plant height, leaf number, branch number, total interest, diameter trunk, root length, root volume, fresh weight of plants, plant dry weight, fruit weight and number of fruit), and the addition of NPK nutrition significantly affect variable leaf number, branch number, and fresh weight of plants.

Effects of Different Land Status on Conservation Land and Income of Upland Rice Farming in Mausambi Village, Maurole Subdistrict, Ende Regency

The objectives of this study were to: (1) analyze the effects of different land tenure status on soil conservation level and (2) analyze the soil conservation level on production and income of upland rice farming. This research was conducted in Mausambi Village, Maurole Subdistrict, Ende Regency. Considerations in choosing a research village were seen from: a) the number of farmers who pawned agricultural land b) the extent of dry land and critical land c) the high percentage of poor farmers d) centers of food crop production and e) areas vulnerable to erosion. The population of upland rice farmers in Mausambi village was 214 people and consisted of 36 sharecroppers, 32 mortgagors and 146 owners. The method of sampling is cluster sampling, where this technique is a technique of selecting a sample from groups, small units or clusters. The sample size was calculated using Parrel formula. The sample size of land ownership status was 92 owners, 34 sharecroppers and 21 mortgagors. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression by including dummy variable of land tenure status and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the analysis shows that the farmers on land tenure status of owner are better in doing soil conservation efforts when compared to farmers on land tenure status of sharecropper and mortgagor. Owner dummy variable significantly affected the soil conservation level at 99% significant level. The positive sign means that the soil conservation level score on owner land tenure status is higher than the owner land tenure status of sharecropper and mortgagor. This is because in the owner farmers, the responsibility of soil conservation is higher than the farmers on other land tenure status. The well-done soil conservation efforts provide effect on the production and income of upland rice farming. The result of the research also shows that the land in the research site has not experienced severe erosion and soil conservation has been conducted but not maximized yet, especially on the aspect of contour farming, terrace treatment, terrace-strengthening plants, and tillage

Budidaya Organik Kunyit pada Kluster Biofarmaka Kabupaten Karanganyar

Potential development of medicinal plants in Karanganyar is very large, because this area is famous as a center of medicinal plants such as ginger, turmeric, kencur, and temulawak. In the development of medicinal plants, the approach of organic cultivation is one of the alternatives that can be done to achieve the business. Therefore the application of technology to society about organic farming on Biopharmaca Cluster of Karanganyar was conducted with the aim to apply organic cultivation techniques that have resulted from previous studies, so it can be applied by the community to increase income and welfare. This application of technology to society activity is held in Sambirejo, Jumantono, Karanganyar. The research was conducted from March to October 2016. The results showed that the application of chicken manure affects the number of leaves, number of tillers, and the fresh weight of turmeric rhizome. The addition of manure (chicken, goat, cow) can increase all variables of planting growth which include plant height, number of leaf, number of tillers, fresh weight of plant, dry weight of plant, and fresh weight of rhizomes. Giving three types of manure (chicken, goat, cow) with mycorrhizal dose treatment there is no intraction to some growth observation variables. Mycorrhizal treatment with a dose of 10 g/plant can increase the number of tillers in turmeric. Overall the application of mycorrhizal at various doses (5, 10, and 15 g/plant) can increase plant height, leaf number, number of tillers, and fresh weight of turmeric rhizome
