The mechanism, characteristics and efficiency of a new vertical flow labyrinth (VFL) device for treating various wastewaters
北九州市立大学博士(工学)Due to high ammonia nitrogen and complex water quality characteristics, landfill leachate has caused significant difficulties in leachate's biological treatment. Therefore, it is essential to develop an efficient and energy-saving leachate natural treatment process. In addition, printing and dyeing wastewater is one of the leading industrial wastewaters with large output, strong alkalinity, high chroma, high organic concentration, complex components, and poor biodegradability. The textile industry is one of the most intensive industries in chemical products whose wastewater contains hazardous dyes, pigments, dissolved/suspended solids, and heavy metals. Hence, it is essential to effectively treat the wastewater generated by this industry before releasing it into the environment. Though textile wastewater treatment has made tremendous progress, the advanced treatment methods should be improved further to make them economically viable and friendly. Based on this, starting from landfill leachate and sand washing wastewater, this paper uses a new vertical flow labyrinth (VFL) device to investigate the effect of seasonal temperature on water quality degradation performance. On this basis, the superiority of the VFL unit and the anaerobic/anoxic/aerobic (AAO) process in the treatment of sand-washing wastewater was compared.doctoral thesi
A Study of longitudinal corpus analysis of National Center Test for University Admissions for 32 years and latitudinal comparison with equivalent public exams in Korea and Taiwan
過去32年間のセンター試験の語彙、文法特性をコーパス分析した通時的変化と韓国、台湾の国家で行う入試問題との比較を行った。タイプ・トークン比、平均文長、平均語長、平均語彙難度(JACET8000基準)、リーダビリティ値に加え、CLAWSを使用し文法の特徴も調べた。結果として、ほぼ全てに経年ごとの数値の上昇が見られ、英文が難化していることが判明した。departmental bulletin pape
Determinant Impacts on Household Energy Consumption in Japan and Vietnam
北九州市立大学博士(工学)The research first aims to investigate the effects of all influencing factors on household energy consumption and to evaluate their complex relationships under different situation. Hybrid modeling combing physics-based modeling and data-driven modeling is the state-of-the-art approach to be considered for energy forecast, while factor analysis has the potential for sorting the weight of factors. Discussion on the final results imply cognitive changes for consumers where the visualization of energy efficiency optimization can be easily captured so that environmental sustainability will be closer than ever.thesi

THE ASEAN AUTO INDUSTRY: BEYOND THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
This paper provides an overview of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) situation of the automotive industry in some Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries where enforced lockdowns and social restriction have come with real human costs in the areas of economic development. The COVID-19 state of the ASEAN automobile industry will be explained by putting into global context, including the strategy of beyond COVID-19. In general, COVID-19 has likely to affected the automotive industry in production, markets and supply chain. There is production in ASEAN markets that is mainly based on assembly of imported completely-knocked-down (CKD). The distinct effects of COVID-19 on automobile production, sales and export within the ASEAN region. This paper examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on ASEAN in the automotive industry. Assessment on the sampling artifact related to HNO₃ in the filter pack method
北九州市立大学博士(工学)Nitric acid gas (HNO₃) is an important species in either atmospheric chemistry or removal of atmospheric nitrogen process, and its concentration needs to be determined precisely. This study provided an assessment on the sampling artifact of HNO₃ in the filter pack by using the method itself. In the first part, a validation method for HNO₃ concentration under the impact of chlorine loss reaction and sampling artifact related to sea salt and the dissociation of NH₄NO₃ was successfully introduced by the use of a step-by-step approach via “Initial” HNO₃ and “Primary” HNO₃. In the second part, by simultaneous employment of the multi-stage filter pack systems, the role of the artifact related to H₂SO₄ on HNO₃ concentration determined by filter pack was confirmed. By that point, the existence of ambient H₂SO₄ was revealed and its source was attributed to a domestic volcano and the transportation of northwestern airmasses.doctoral thesi
RESEARCH ON CONSTRUCTION PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF STATIONARY AND MOBILE ROBOTS IN WOODEN BLOCK STACKING METHOD
北九州市立大学博士(工学)In this thesis, a reconstruction of a completed wooden building, from the design process, construction process to the final evaluation of construction efficiency, is proposed for the construction of a wooden building with stationary robots and mobile robots. The construction method of two continuous building components for the robot static and beyond static workspace is discussed, and the construction experiment of the wooden building is completed using the construction method. Based on the experiment, 1) an innovative way to build a wood-frame building that satisfies the robot's construction logic and 2) the robot's ability to accurately assemble building components in space, including the ability to align them with existing components on site, were addressed. Ultimately, the completion of this experiment and its construction evaluation demonstrated: the superiority of robot construction over manual construction in terms of reduced manual use and increased construction efficiency.doctoral thesi
Study of factors influencing the practical application of parametric design and robotic automated construction
北九州市立大学博士(工学)The construction industry has always been an important part of human economic activity. As time goes on, building techniques and construction methods are changing. However, with the increasing acceleration of social development, traditional construction methods have reached their limits. Both in China and Japan are facing the problem of aging population structure and low birth rate. The human demand for complex forms of construction is growing, yet experienced workers are in short supply. The construction industry continues to undergo industrial upgrading, while the rise of digital design and the widespread use of robotics point the way to the future of the construction industry. To explore the possibilities of parametric design and robotic automated construction through two practical projects. We also explore the factors affecting the application of robotic automated construction technology by building an evolutionary game model to provide a policy reference for the government, construction companies and public universities.doctoral thesi
