Research on winter energy-saving design of traditional residential buildings in southern Shaanxi of China
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士(工学)The combination of solar energy and buildings can greatly save energy, and a great deal of practical and theoretical research has been conducted on solar buildings around the world. Rural areas in southern Shaanxi, China, have wet and cold winters. The average room temperature is 4°C and below 2°C at night, which greatly exceeds the range of thermal comfort that the human body can tolerate. In response to a series of problems such as backward heating methods and low heating efficiency in southern Shaanxi, two fully passive heating methods are proposed for traditional houses in the region. They are rooftop solar heating storage systems and thermal storage wall heating systems (TSWHS), respectively. These two systems have been compared with the status quo heating system to confirm the practicality of the new system and to provide an idea for heating and energy saving in traditional houses in rural areas.doctoral thesi

Research on the industrial transformation of coastal fishing villages in China
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士(工学)In the coastal areas, the industrial transformation has brought huge changes to local fishing village development. Qingdao West Coast New Area is one of the most rapid urbanization coastal areas in China, the fishing villages are experiencing unprecedented transformation. In this paper, the relationship between industrial transformation and fishing village development has been researched. This paper makes the definitions of four typical fishing village transformation types, i.e., fishery-dominated type (FT), fishing products processing dominated type (FPPT), fishing village tourism dominated type (FVTT), and Diversified development type (DDT), and takes four typical transformed coastal fishing villages in Qingdao West Coast New. A new composite indicator is proposed to evaluate the impact of industrial transformation on fishing villages based on the “Three F” dimension: Fishery, Fishing Village, and Fishermen, and its development process, internal logic, driving forces, and mechanisms, the interactive mechanism of industrial transformation and spatial evolution have also been explored.doctoral thesi

In this study, we selected extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) secreted by pipe network microbial biofilms as precursors to explore the catalytic formation of disinfection byproducts (DBPs) by copper corrosion products (CCPs) during the chlorination process. The effect of two different PCPs on the formation of DBPs was studied when extracellular polymers were used as precursors. This will help to control the formation and conversion of DBPs, prevent the drinking water "secondary pollution", and ensure the safety and health of the water quality during the transmission and distribution of drinking water.doctoral thesi
Allegory and contraction in C.S. Lewis: The Influence of Romanticism and Christain Reinterpretation
Get PDFThis paper analyses C. S. Lewis's allegory. While this rhetoric of his succeeds in conveying his message in an intelligible manner, on the other hand, the over-simplified allegorical message also devalues his work as literature. By considering the influence of Romanticism on Lewis, this article examines the literary meaning of 'contraction' or 'simplification', a characteristic of his allegory. Lewis uses this Romantic effect of defamilialization to explain the miracles of Christ. The miracles of Christ are 'little wonders', which present this world of miracles to people in a way that is easy to understand by condensing and simplifying the 'great miracle'. This explanation of Lewis's account of Christ's miracles is, in fact, also an explanation of his method of allegory. In this way, the paper will analyze Lewis's allegory from the influence of Romanticism, but at the same time, it will also focus on Lewis's theory of original sin and analyze his anti-romanticism and pessimism.departmental bulletin pape
