    Literature Review of the Development of a Scale for Hospital Nurses

    Purpose: This study aimed to provide suggestions on appropriate methods for developing a “Scale for Prioritization in Clinical Nursing” by conducting a literature review. Methods: The target literature was selected by searching Ichushi-Web with “scale development” and “scale creation” as the search terms. Totally, 13 articles that met the search conditions and selection criteria were included in the analysis. The articles were analyzed inductively. An outline of the developed scale, drafting process, survey method, and content of the analysis were summarized, and the procedure for developing the scale was discussed. Results: The target literature included 11 articles related to nursing management and 2 related to nursing practice. While drafting the scale, the constructs were examined using multiple methods. The articles were rated on a 4-6 Likert scale; two of the included articles were not symmetrical and were designed to have more positive options. The content and surface validity of the questionnaire items were reviewed by an expert committee and content validity index (CVI), and drafts consisting of approximately 30–60 items were prepared. Regarding the survey method, the number of subjects ranged from 380 to 1,700. Anonymous self-administered questionnaires were administered by individual mail or by retention, and retests were conducted in 12 cases. Regarding the content of the analysis, ceiling/floor effects and I-T correlations were analyzed for item analysis, internal consistency, retest reliability, criterion-related validity, and construct validity. criterion-related validity, and construct validity. Discussion: When creating a draft scale, it is necessary to set the number of question items so that the constructs can be measured without bias, and devise ways to correct the bias in the responses by increasing the number of positive rating stages. Regarding the survey method, the number of participants should be determined based on the number of items in the draft scale and the collection rate. In contrast, for the implementation method, the number of surveys and burden on research collaborators should also be considered. Finally, to examine the scale’s reliability and validity, the criteria for statistical analysis, content validity of the questionnaire items, and the interpretability of the factor structure should be fully examined before reaching a conclusion.目的:本研究の目的は,「臨床看護における優先順位づけに関する尺度」の開発のための,より適切な方法について示唆を得ることである。 方法:対象文献の選定は,「医中誌Web」により,「尺度開発 or 尺度の開発 or 尺度の作成」を検索語として,検索条件と選定基準に合致した13 件を分析対象とした。これらの文献について帰納的に内容を分析し,開発した尺度の概要,原案作成の過程,調査方法,分析内容について整理し,尺度の開発手順について検討した。 結果:対象文献の評価内容は,看護管理11 件,看護実践2 件であった。尺度原案は,複数の方法で構成概念を検討して作成されていた。尺度の評定段階は4 ~ 6 件法のリッカート法で,2 件の文献の回答選択肢は,非対称で肯定的な選択肢が多くなるように工夫していた。さらに,専門家会議やCVI により質問項目の内容的妥当性と表面妥当性の検討がなされ,約30 ~ 60 項目からなる原案が作成されていた。調査方法については,対象者数は380 名から1700 名で,個別郵送法または留置き法による無記名自記式質問紙調査が実施されており,12 件は再検査も実施していた。分析内容については,項目分析は,天井/床効果やI-T 相関など,信頼性は内的一貫性と再検査信頼性,妥当性は基準関連妥当性と構成概念妥当性が検討されていた。 考察:尺度原案の作成においては,尺度の構成概念を偏りなく測定できるように質問項目数を設定し,また,ポジティブな評定段階を多くして回答の偏りを是正する工夫が必要である。調査方法については,対象者数は,尺度原案の項目数や回収率を踏まえて決定し,実施方法は,調査の回数や研究協力者の負担も考慮する必要がある。最後に,尺度の信頼性と妥当性の検討においては,統計解析の基準だけでなく,質問項目の内容的妥当性や,因子構造の解釈可能性も十分に検討した上で,結論づける必要がある。departmental bulletin pape

    Approach of the Simulation Education in the Home Care Nursing Practicum during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Learning Outcomes on Emergency Response in Home-visit Nursing Situations

    本報告の目的は,COVID-19 流行時の在宅看護学実習において,救急救命士と看護教員が協働して設計した「訪問看護場面における救急対応のシミュレーション教育」の学習成果を報告することである。 看護学士課程3 年次生を対象に,学内実習にてシミュレーション教育を実施し,シミュレーション実習終了後のレポートの自由記載より学習成果をまとめた。その結果,2022 年度3 年生90 名中86 名が看護過程と連動したシミュレーション教育の有用性を高く評価し,訪問看護師の緊急度・重症度を判断するための初期評価に加え,利用者の現病歴,既往歴,内服薬,日常生活状況等の普段の療養状況の優先順位を考慮した観察と看護,救急要請時に優先して伝達すべき情報の選択と伝え方,本人・家族への精神的支援の重要性について理解していた。さらに,臨地実習の学内代替実習において,救急救命士が演じるリアルな利用者像と初期評価のモデル実践は臨場感があり,学生が緊張感をもち学習できる機会であった。departmental bulletin pape

    Views on the Transition of Secondary School Mathematics Education in Japan: Focusing on the Treatment of Affective Variable

    The basis for Japan’s rapid modernization during the Meiji period and subsequent periods was the high literacy rate that existed during the Edo period. Dr. D. Kikuchi and Dr. R. Fujisawa played important roles in the establishment of mathematics education in Japan. In 1935, the fourth government designated an arithmetic textbook edited by Naomichi Shiono et al. Perry J, Klein F. et al. propose to reform school mathematics around 1900. The arithmetic textbook which was edited by Naomichi Shiono was influenced by reformation of school mathematics by Perry, Klein et al. Secondary school mathematics textbook was tyied to construct in order to learn secondary school mathematics connected to new arithmetic textbook in Japan. At the end of World War Ⅱ, Japan’s mathematics education underwent considerable transformation. The new curriculum became the basis for the Life Unit Study. The study course for school mathematics was revised in 1958, in 1969, and implemented in 1972. This revision was designed to introduce the effective results of the modernization of mathematics. In 1977, publications titled “More flexibility” and “Back to Basics” became public opinion. In 1989, it was stressed that the effects of technological development must be introduced to school mathematics and that enhancing pupils’ mathematical thinking ability must be regarded as highly important. The relationships between developing individual ability and learning process in classroom were discussed based on “Ikiruchikara (Zest for living)”. Further, how teachers enhanced the competency and enjoyment of, and the value of learning arithmetic and mathematics without mastering skills in the 2010s were discussed. As some terms related to affect toward arithmetic and mathematics have been used in the courses of study, it is important for teachers to know these terms.departmental bulletin pape
