The Development of Welfare Politics of the Dutch East Indies in 1900-1918
This article writing to: (1) Explain how the Dutch East Indies political system is, (2) Analyze how ethical politics is in the archipelago (Indonesia), (3) Analyze how the political system is ethical and eastern towards Islam, and explain the Ordinance Policy towards Islamic Religion Teachers by the Dutch East Indies, (4) Explain how the failure of ethical politics can occur. The author in writing article applied historical research method with consist of collecting sources, critism source, intepretation, and historiograph. Results of this writing article indicate that: (1) Ethic politic policies implemented on the Duutch East indie were based on the desire of liberals in the Netherlands to prosper in the colonized country, (2) East-west politics in Islam caused Muslims to want to break away from the Dutch defense, (3) Ordinance Policy on Islamic Religion Teachers by the Dutch East Indies Government, (4) The political failure was motivated by the many reactions to the implementation of ethical politics, the Dutch got big profits but inversely the welfare of the people was low
Response of Muhammadiyah to the World of Education: History and Recent Developments
This research aimed to determine the response of Muhammadiyah to the actual issues that focused on educational development and historical flashbacks. The method used was qualitative by collecting the data by using library research. The findings in this research contained the response of Muhammadiyah to educational development which focused on innovation, the quality of institutions improvement, human resources development and the beginnings or history of education itself. Before education in Muhammadiyah experienced its current extraordinary development, the education in the past time was only carried out in the mosques. The Dutch colonies forbade indigenous Indonesian people to pursue general education. Based on its history, education at Muhammadiyah was divided into several periods, namely the pioneering, development and transformation periods. Nowadays, Muhammadiyah has developed very well. There are roles of Muhammadiyah in education itself, namely by building Muhammadiyah schools and universities as widely as possible and providing various kinds of scholarships so that education is more equitable, improving the quality of teachers who not only teach worldly things but are balanced towards Hablumminallah. Efforts to Improve Numeracy Literacy Culture and History Learning Outcomes with the Problem-Based Learning Method for Class XII IPS 2 at SMAN 6 Metro
This study aims to describe problem-based learning methods as an effort to improve numeracy literacy and history learning outcomes. Data analysis in this study used data analysis obtained through three stages, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions (data verification). Source of data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Tools and data collection with test and non test techniques. Results and discussion: the numeracy literacy of class XII IPS 2 students of SMAN 6 Metro can be explained as follows: pre-cycle 58%, cycle I became 72%, cycle II increased to 85%, and cycle III decreased to 84%. While learning outcomes increase, this is from the average pre-cycle results of 52.22%, and cycle I become 70.37%. Cycle II became 78.51, cycle III increased to 85.92%. Learning completeness in pre-cycle is still 0, in cycle I there is 40.74%, cycle II is 81.48%, and cycle III is 100%
Keterampilan Juru Pelihara Situs Peninggalan Sejarah Madiun dalam Bercerita Sejarah
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan keterampilan juru pelihara situs peninggalan sejarah dalam menceritakan situs yang dipeliharanya kepada pengunjung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Madiun dan Kota Madiun selama sepuluh bulan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan penggunakan teknik statistis deskriptif. Hasilnya yaitu juru pelihara situs peninggalan sejarah Madiun yang keterampilan menceritakan situs yang dipeliharanya kepada para pengunjung dalam kategori sangat baik: 0%, baik: 81%, cukup: 6%, kurang: 13%, sangat kuramg: 0%. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan bercerita sejarah sebesar 23,875. Juru pelihara yang keterampilan bercerita sejarah di atas rata-rata sebanyak 11 orang (85%), sedangkan yang di bawah rata-rata sebanyak 5 orang (15%). 7 aspek keterampilan yang nilainya rata baik ada 4 aspek (isi cerita, kebenaran cerita, santun kinestika, volume suara). Sedangkan yang 3 aspek nilainya rata-rata nilai tergolong cukup (aspek yaitu plot, diksi, dan kefektifan kalimat)
Analysis of Multiple Choice Questions as an Evaluation Tool for the end of Year Assessment (PAT) in the Subject of Indonesian History Class XI SMA
This study aims to determine the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of the multiple choice distractor as an evaluation tool for history subjects in class XI SMAN 2 Pandeglang. This research is quantitative and descriptive. Students of class XI B and D IPS at SMAN 2 Pandeglang were used as the research sample. Based on the results of the research on 30 year-end assessment questions (PAT) for Indonesian history class XI IPS SMAN 2 Pandeglang for the 2021/2022 academic year, there were 13 valid questions (43.3%) and 17 questions (56.7%) which invalid. The reliability score of 0.49 indicates that neither the questions nor the results are reliable. On discriminating power, 20 items (66.7%) fall into the weak category, 7 items (23.3%) fall into the sufficient category, 1 (one) item (3.3%) falls into the good category, 2 (two) items (6.7%) fall into the very weak category, and there are no items in the very good category. The index of difficulty shows that 4 (four) items or 13.3% are included in the easy category, 26 items or 86.7% are classified as difficult, and there are no items included in the very difficult category. On the effectiveness of the distractor, all items (30) have the effectiveness of the distractor with good criteria. The results of the validation by the expert lecturer on the study of the questions showed that 27 out of 30 items had fulfilled the suitability aspect of the items with indicators, 29 out of 30 items were in accordance with scientific principles, all items (30) had one answer key. Meanwhile, the results of the validation of the construction of the questions showed that all questions met the aspects of the rules for writing items. And, as many as 27 of the 30 items were stated to fulfill the language rules in writing the items
Korelasi Kebiasaan dan Lingkungan Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VII SMP Banjar Agung
Untuk mencapai prestasi belajar yang baik, dibutuhkan berbagai sarana belajar yang lengkap dan kemauan serta keteraturan dalam melaksanakan belajar. Keteraturan dalam kebiasaan belajar ini, serta lingkungan belajar di sekolah yang mendukung menjadi suatu motivasi yang terhadap pencapaian prestasi belajar pada setiap siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMP Banjar Agung sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima, artinya lingkungan belajar yang baik diikuti dengan tingginya prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS sehingga semakin baik lingkungan belajar siswa maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar siswa dan sebaliknya, semakin tidak baik lingkungan belajar siswa maka semakin rendah prestasi belajar siswa.
Development of K13 Learning Media Materials for History Subject at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng, Banyuwangi
Knowing the transitional period of the current curriculum is quite a complex challenge. A popular learning media in schools is the use of class 12 case study learning videos, such as videos about history lessons that present past history in the present. The purpose of the observation is to find out how the learning conditions in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng are. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the application of the method cannot be separated. The quantitative method uses data collection techniques obtained by observing the learning environment at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng, conducting interviews and observing how the teacher performs in front of the class. This study uses quantitative research that focuses on learning media from which statistical data is collected. The learning conditions at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Genteng still use the 2013 curriculum but have included values from the independent curriculum. Students are familiar with modules (electronic and non-electronic) during a pandemic, so this material can be utilized. The learning media used are learning videos, power points, and case studies. It can be concluded that learning is very dependent on the curriculum used
Examining the Values of Character Education Based on Local Wisdom in the Baseloa Tradition in the Sungai Liuk Community
Sungai Liuk is an area that has various traditions, one of which is baseloa. Baseloa is a tradition carried out when one of its community members wants to make a house foundation, this tradition is still carried out by the people of Sungai Liuk until now. This research aims to explore what character education values are contained in baseloa activities in the Sungai Liuk community; in addition, it is also to see how the development of this tradition so that it can be preserved until now which will later become a character or moral for the local community of Sungai Liuk.The method used in this research is the historical method. The results showed that character education can be formed from the local wisdom of the local community, this is because in the implementation of certain traditions there are special rituals that are usually carried out by the community. So that from this habit, an attitude or behavior is created which will increasingly form a community character. In this case, the baseloa tradition of the Sungai Liuk community contains character education values, namely religious, tolerance, democratic, love for the country, friendly/communicative, and social care that need to be instilled in the nation's next generation
Militia Movement in Tangerang Incident of 1946
This research aimed to determine the role of the militia movement in a bloody incident in Tangerang Regency known as the Tangerang Incident in 1946. To achieve this goal, this study utilizes historical research methods and relevant theories to understand events through found historical sources. Historical sources used are oral and written. Based on the time when these historical sources were produced, these historical sources are subdivided into primary historical sources in the form of contemporary books, archives, photographs and newspapers. While secondary historical sources are interviews, relevant books and research. Based on the research results, Tangerang Regency is a multi-ethnic area where these conditions are prone to inter-ethnic riots, inter-ethnic conflicts have often occurred in this area since 1913 and relations between communities are getting worse. In a chaotic situation, militia groups emerged which were built on the interests of certain ethnic groups that were mutually hostile to one another, the group eventually committed an inhumane act known as the 1946 Tangerang Incident. This incident lasted for nearly two months between 1 June 1946 and July 15, 1946 where this incident claimed hundreds of lives through acts of robbery, murder and arson. even categorized as one of the bloodiest events of that era
Dibalik Cahaya Bulan Sabit: Peran Muhammadiyah di Purbolinggo dalam Mewujudkan Keberadaban Masyarakat pada tahun 1963-1983
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah serta pengaruh perkembangan Muhammadiyah di dalam membangun peradaban masyarakat Purbolinggo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode historis dengan tahapan heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini mengunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa Muhammadiyah Cabang Purbolinggo berdiri pada 3 April 1963 yang diketuai oleh Amirudin, dan Abdul Fatah sebagai wakil ketua. Peranan Muhammadiyah dapat terlihat dalam aspek kehidupan masyarakat seperti mendirikan Masjid Darul Ihsan yang bersebelahan dengan Pusat Pasar Purbolinggo, mendirikan sekolah Madrasah Ibtifaiyah, Sekolah Pendidikan Guru Agama Muhammadiyah (PGAM), TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal, SMP, SMA, MA Muhammadiyah serta Koperasi Wargamu pada 1973, dan Zafakoh pada 1978 yang merupakan badan pengumpul Zakat, Infak serta Sodakoh, dan memberikan bantuan pelayanan sosial seperti Penolong Kesengsaraan Oemoem (PKO)
