The Emerging Value of Stable Freeze-Dried Kit Formulations for Fast Clinical Translation of Radiopharmaceuticals in Targeted Imaging and Therapy

The development of targeted molecular probe-based radiopharmaceuticals has significantly advanced personalized molecular imaging and therapy.
This paper presents the application of validated freeze-dried technology for formulating ready-to-use kits containing protein and peptide-based radiopharmaceuticals, specifically conjugated antibodies using various bifunctional chelating agents for Lu-177 labeling, and small molecules like FAPI. This innovative approach integrates essential components of radiopharmaceutical development, including chemical synthesis, radiolabeling, and preclinical validation and facilitates the successful clinical translation of these radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine by enhancing stability, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, we propose expanding research to include veterinary cancer patients and fostering collaboration between medical and veterinary disciplines, emphasizing a holistic approach to health and disease, contributing to the One Health initiative.
Materials and Methods:
In our laboratory, we developed and validated freeze-dried formulations for immunoconjugated antibodies, small molecules, and peptides suitable for Lutetium-177 labeling. For antibody formulations, different molar ratios of antibodies and chelators (1:20 and 1:10) were tested to obtain stable forms with minimal moisture content, preserving protein structure for radiolabeling.
Freeze-drying protocols vary based on molecule type:
- for immunoconjugates, two-day protocol ensures proper stabilization and preservation
- for small molecules and peptides, one-day protocol due to their smaller size and different stabilization needs
Cryoprotectants and lyoprotectants, including mannitol, sucrose, and polysorbate 20, were used to maintain molecular integrity during the freeze-drying process, ensuring a stable powder. Protein characterization was performed using SE-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy, and MALDI-TOF-MS. Radiolabeling efficiency was determined using ITLC methods after labeling with Lu-177.
Results:
Upon reconstitution, all freeze-dried samples dissolved rapidly in under one minute, forming clear solutions without visible particles. SDS-PAGE confirmed antibody integrity, with preservation of the secondary structure and bands at 25 kDa and 50 kDa. Gel filtration chromatography showed minimal aggregate formation, with the main monomer peak representing at least 95% of the total area, within acceptable limits
Quantifying soil carbon dynamics: a comparative assessment of carbon farming vs. conventional systems in corn and sunflower cultivation in North Macedonia
Full text linkPrecise carbon determination transforms carbon farming from an empirical concept into a scientifically-driven, economically viable, and policy-relevant practice. It enables farmers and researchers to quantify soil health improvements and climate benefits, unlock new revenue via carbon markets, and foster adaptive management and sound policymaking rooted in hard data. In doing so, it advances the broader goal of sustainable, climate-smart agriculture—anchoring the study’s comparative findings in real-world impact and long-term viability.
This study presents a comparative evaluation of carbon farming and conventional agricultural systems in the cultivation of corn (Zea mays L.) and sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.), focusing on their effects on soil carbon, nitrogen dynamics and other soil characteristics over a two-year period (2024-2025). Soil samples were collected at the beginning, midpoint, and end of the study to assess total organic carbon (TOC) and total nitrogen (TN) under each management system. The results demonstrated a consistent and significant increase in both carbon and nitrogen content in soils managed under carbon farming practices compared to those under conventional management. In corn plots, carbon farming led to a progressive accumulation of TOC and TN, attributed to organic matter inputs, minimal soil disturbance, and enhanced microbial activity. Sunflower plots also showed increased TOC and TN, although with a delayed response, likely due to the crop's higher nutrient demand and biomass turnover. In contrast, conventional systems showed stagnant or declining trends in TOC and TN, underscoring the limitations of intensive tillage and synthetic input dependence in maintaining long-term soil fertility. The findings highlight the potential of carbon farming as a viable strategy for enhancing soil health, increasing nutrient retention, and contributing to climate-smart agricultural practices in cereal and oilseed production systems

помеѓу стратешкото менаџирање и економската ефикасност во развојот на винскиот туризам во
Р.С.Македонија.Врз основа на анализата на историјата на винската индустрија,географската
поделба на региони и актуелната понуда на винарии,настани и вински патеки,трудот ја нагласува
важноста на стратешкото планирање за економски раст.Посебно внимание посветено на
планирањето на туристичките производи,маркетинг стратегиите,брендирањето, како и улогата на
приватниот и јавниот сектор.Преку анализа на индикаторите за економска ефикасност-како што се
приходите од извоз,растот на винскиот туризам и локална вработеност-се утврдува значителниот
потенцијал на секторот за подршка на економскиот развој.
Идентификувани се главните предизвици ,но исто така дадени се препораки за нивно
надминување .Заклучно,трудот покажува дека со добро управување Р.С,Македонија може да ја
зацврсти својата позиција како винска дестинација на европскиот пазар и да обезбеди долгорочен
економски и туристички развој.

Tandem Teaching for Quality Physical Education: Primary Teachers’ Preparedness and Professional Growth in Slovakia and North Macedonia
Full text linkQuality Physical Education (QPE) is crucial, yet its delivery at the primary level is often
challenged by generalist teachers’ inadequate preparedness, a deficit that collaborative
tandem teaching can address. This study compared the perceived preparedness of 618 generalist
teachers with varied tandem teaching experience in Slovakia and North Macedonia,
examining differences linked to the structural model type. Data were collected via a questionnaire
assessing self-perceived preparedness across 11 PE domains and the need for
continuous professional development. A Chi-square test compared responses between
the Slovakian model (rotational sports coaches, co-teaching 1 of 3 weekly lessons) and
the North Macedonian model (consistent PE teachers, co-teaching all 3 weekly lessons).
Generalist teachers in both countries reported overall high preparedness, but a significant
deficiency was identified in working with children with diverse learning needs (p < 0.01).
North Macedonian teachers, who experience a long-term partnership with a dedicated PE teacher in all weekly PE lessons, reported being significantly better prepared across most domains (e.g., selection of equipment, p = 0.000) than Slovakian teachers, who utilize short, rotational partnerships in 1 of 3 weekly lessons. The findings suggest that the structure of the tandem teaching model is a key factor in enhancing generalist teachers’ preparedness and professional growth in QPE

Туризмот е светски процес, сложен и профитабилен. Во светот активно опстојуваат повеќе видови туризам. Планинскиот туризам високо е рангиран и игра важна улога во глобалниот светски туризам.
Слични карактеристики има и туризмот во РС Македонија. Така, ако ги рангираме видовите туризам во РС Македонија, примарно место има езерскиот туризам, потоа следи урбаниот туризам, па планинскиот туризам итн.
Прв ракопис за планински туризам е учебникот со наслов Планински туризам (2021), кој го користат студентите на Факултет за туризам и бизнис логистика, при Универзитет „Гоце Делчев“ – Штип. Во учебникот е обработен планинскиот туризам во светот и делумно во РС Македонија.
Македонскиот планински туризам располага со многу ресурси, кои доволно не се искористени. Главен мотив за создавање на оваа тематска книга е презентирање на ресурсите за развој и унапредување на планинскиот туризам на македонските планини. Темата во овој текст исклучиво го обработува само туризмот на македонските планини. Имено, правиме обид да ги презентираме сите карактеристики на појава, развој и унапредување на Туризам на македонските планини.
Текстот што е презентиран во книгата е конципиран во два дела и шест теми.
Првиот дел, Планини и ресурси за туризам, е составен од две теми.
Во првата тема, Општи карактеристики на македонскиот планински релјеф ги обработува главните карактеристики на планинскиот релјеф, потоа основните одлики на македонските планини и на крајот функционалната поделба и ресурси на планините. Во втората тема: Почетоци на планинарење, скијање, планинарски друштва и домови, ги обработува првите искачувања на планините, првото скијање, појавата на планинарство, планинарски друштва, планинарски домови и скијање.
Во вториот дел, Туристички мотиви, активности и движења, составен е од четири теми. Во првата тема се општо обработени Атрактивни мотиви (природни и антропогени), во втората тема, се говори за Комуникативни мотиви (патна мрежа, друга инфраструктура, инфоцентри и сувенирници), во третата тема за Рецептивни мотиви (Сместувачки капацитети, Угостителски капацитети и Други капацитети).
Во четвртата тема опширно се обработуваат податоци за Туристички активности на македонските планини, и тоа за: Почетоци на туризмот на македонските планини, Видови туризам и рекреативни активности на планина, потоа за Функционални активности на планинскиот туризам, Ски-центри и одморалишта, Планинарски друштва и домови, како и за Туристички движења и Регионални карактеристики на македонскиот планински туризам.
На крајот е поместен преглед на користена литература и интернет-адреси.
Подвлекувам, во книгата не се ставени многу фотографии и географски карти и тоа од причина да не биде премногу обемна. Имено во ера на дигитализација и социјални мрежи, секој може да види прекрасни фотографии за македонските планини и сл. Исто така, печатењето на книги чини многу пари, а особено на оние кои се обемни и со многу фотографии. Значи, мисијата за научните работници и сите други лица кои сакаат да презентираат разни теми станува скапа работа. Па така, денес, повеќе се користи електронско издание отколку печатено. Затоа е мал тиражот на книгата. Книгата ќе биде и електронски поставена, со услов секој кој ќе ја користи правилно да ја цитира.

The effect of laser assisted tape placement processing conditions on flexural strength of in-situ carbon fibre/PEEK laminates

thermoplastic parts. The purpose is to investigate how LATP processing conditions affect the flexural strength of
laminates made from carbon fibers and polyether ketone (PEEK). The experiments were made by processing the
prepreg under different conditions, and the most influential factors were taken into account: laser temperature,
compact pressure of the roller, and laser placement angle. Flexural strength tests were performed on all
manufactured specimens, and some conclusions regarding process parameters and the ultimate properties of
composite specimens were developed based on the experimental data received

A view of Nikola Smilkov’s world of sculpture
No one has ever blamed anyone
for falling in love with the serenity of stone.

Nikola Smilkov's sculptures give Macedonian art yet another strong argument for why it should be serene, even while it rejoices under the lights of world art galleries. Smilkov's sculptures have their place in space and time and their own artistic semiology, creating a pure semiotic field around them. Each sculpture is a semiotic sign, strongly metaphorically positioned. The original artistic concept has created an original artistic expression, the imo pectore (from the innermost depths) of the sculptor himself. An emotion created from the earth, torn from our ontological nature of mortals, standing before life as a way station on an eternal journey, an eternal movement.
Placed in the enclosed space of the gallery, each one placed on a personal pedestal, it seems to have fenced off a space for itself. And yet, all together, as if breathing in one life rhythm. It is fascinating to realize that the stone has been stripped of its harshness and coldness, that sharp corners have been given a gentle softness, that emotion has been given the most beautiful form, whatever we call it: love, tenderness, longing, sadness, loneliness.... A certain sense of balance hovers around the sculptures of Nikola Smilkov, calm in restlessness, rest in unrest, life out from the lifeless. To reach for the stone and to distill an emotion from its lifelessness is an act of defiance. The earth - the cold embrace for the fragile human body- is recreated by the artist with his touch into a new life, completely melting into the concept of the eternal circulation of matter. The hand, the emotion and the earth as spiritus agens for the creative mission of Nikola Smilkov, in symbiosis create a special poetics of sculpture. Smilkov mentally creates in the interspace of the aesthetic; with the feat of his hand he gives form to the emotion, in order to offer it to the world as pure essence. With the movements of his hands, the artist ennobles the stone, creating anthropomorphized figures with their own character and soul. It is as if he wants to give each of his forms a personal identity. The movements caught in their own dramaticness give the impression of a complete overlap of form and content. Smooth molded surfaces, a longing toward perfection – the eternal yearning of a transient and perishable world.
On the high pedestals stand the sculptures sculpted with a modern aesthetic expression, but positioned in the universal dimension of existence. “Fervor“, “Anticipation“, “Longing“, “Remembrance“, “Awakening“, “Melancholy“ are only forms of an ephemeral existence, but recreated in stone, clay, marble, or bronze, to the eye of the beholder they are petrified emotions with a strong reflective energy. Our eyes of naive observers absorb the minimalist figures as imprints of a large and chaotic world. And in all that chaos, the man pauses, to stop, to look at them in passing. They are calm, each in their own safe space. And these are not specific characters from the artist's life; these are universal human destinies sunk into an abyss or raised on a pedestal. Here the man is conceited in his own greatness and
dominance, but in essence he is so small, fragile and brittle. The feeling is inevitable that, upon touching the sculpture, it would melt under the heat of the palm, disappear, merge into the blood and become an emotion. Through sculpture, Smilkov actually expresses himself and his own worldview, but also so much more than that. An artist of such a profile opens up to the world through sculpture, as if cutting his chest in two in order to give the world what he silently yearns for. The world today and the little man thrown into it are hungry and thirsty for love, for touch, for hugs, for understanding, for listening.
A quiet lyrical melancholy emanates from each of the sculptures, an aura of unforced tranquility, a sense of anticipation that at any moment the sculpture would start speaking or that it and the observer understand each other without words. And the observer, on the other hand, seems to recognize an interlocutor in the petrified rectangular face sitting half-hunched, thoughtfully waiting. Such subtlety in expression renders the figures mystical, arrogantly placed on pedestals under gallery lights. We have the right to imagine that when the lights are out, the figures wake up, raise their heads, raise their crossed legs, and dance in the gallery emptied of human gazes. In Smilkov's sculptural stories, two narratives seem to flow, one deeply personal, told by the artist in the first person, and the other, that of the collective. The collective and its social struggles are unavoidable themes in the sculptor's aesthetics. He knows how to sublimate the emotion of the collective in a work that will speak much louder than all the stories told and retold.
Nikola Smilkov has been building his sculptural identity for years. He seems to be constantly nurturing, growing, and caring for his works, just as one loves and cares for a child. It seems to us that his sculptures are created after some personally experienced dialogues that take place in the inner world of the artist. After such spiritual sessions of self-discovery, the hand reaches out to create a replica of the sensory world, to objectify it. The man in the sculptures of the sculptor emerges through his beauty, passion, mystery, pride, fragility, hesitation, yearning, rationality, dignity. The artist is in constant search for all the faces of the existential drama of man. His works are universally positioned towards the world and are therefore easily understood by art lovers everywhere. If the artist aspires to the sublime, with a lurking desire to outsmart the earthly in order to rise to the infinite, then the sculptor is closest to realizing that eternal yearning
