Cyberculture and Sectarianism in Indonesia: The Rise of Shia Media and Anti-Shia Online Movements
The digital era of information technology appears to be a new space and place for the Indonesian Shiite communities to express their existence and conceal their “cloak” in the country.. Internet, websites, Facebook pages, Blog spots, and Twitter are tilized by these Shiite followers and supporters to show their presence, activities, interactivity, and thoughts about Islam. Responding to those Shia media, the anti-Shia movements such as the fundamentalist Sunnis, the Wahabi-Salafi’s, the Wahabi-Takfiri’s supporters have created their online publications and fan pages to counter those Shia’s publications. The online media battles on sectarianism issue then have sparked in the cyberspace of Indonesia in the last three years.Using a critical cultural studies tradition and textual approach, this study tries to examine the rise of Shia and anti-Shia online media as well as the meanings and contexts in which violent actions occurred amongst the Sunni-Shia Muslim communities on it. This paper also attempts to look closely at the way the media writes, covers, and build opinions and attitude to inform and provoke the public
MERANCANG STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI MELAWAN RADIKALISME AGAMA
The views, solicitation, or radical movements in the name of Islam is increasingly widespread. In various forms, the radicalism in the name of religion prompted an act of suicide bomb wrapped in jihad, hate speech over others, and disseminating views on religion despite the obligation to fight it through violence. Religious radicalism can only be combated using anti religious radicalism, which is now constantly made parties. KECEMASAN BERBICARA DI DEPAN UMUM DITINJAU DARI KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DAN KEAKTIFAN DALAM ORGANISASI KEMAHASISWAAN
The purposes of this study are: 1) To examine the influence of self confidence to the nervousness in public speaking, and 2) To examine the difference of nervousness in public speaking between the activists of student organization and those who were not. The population of this study was the students of Da’wah and Communication Faculty of Walisongo State Islamic University Semarang. Sampling was done by using stratified sampling technique. The instrument of data collection used in this study was the scale of nervousness in public speaking and the scale of self confidence. The data were analyzed by using simple regression analysis and test t. the conclusion of this study were: 1) There was the influence of self confidence to the nervousness in public speaking. 2) There was the difference of nervousness in public speaking between the activists of student organization and those who were not

The news balance is the key factor in the implementation of the Peace Journalism. This term became popular discourse to be applied in the writing of news media and a concept that was born out of the reality of the news circuit that generates a negative effect on media audiences. On the other hand, the news media tends to drift to war journalism (war journalism) that the message is more provocative “stirred” niche audiences heart. Islamic propaganda rhetoric is one of the basic competencies in the course of rhetoric at the University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Rhetoric as the study of science communication is still a concern. The purpose of this article is to describe the islamic propaganda rhetoric, imperative islamic propaganda rhetoric and character formation of students Muhammadiyah Purworejo University. Data were analyzed and the results of a descriptive analysis, a phenomenon which is not the form of numbers or the coefficient of correlation between the variables. The population in this study is the fourth semester students of academic year 2015/2016. Samples were taken from each class in islamic propaganda rhetoric containing imperative speech. Islamic propaganda rhetoric is the art of delivering (news), conveying information, calling, giving warning about Islam correctly. Understanding the sick (meaning of illness) is an important part in the healing process. Conceiving the meaning of pain or any illness is the result of an interpretation process that generates the meaning of illness. Pain, which could be interpreted both positively and negatively by the patients, generally comes from knowledge and experience of interacting with illnesses, diseases, medicines and the environment. The meaning of pain in the health communication perspective is a form of intrapersonal communication related to health. The role of health intrapersonal communication is very important, especially for understanding the meaning of pain that turns an impact on a person's physical condition. Literasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Siswa SDI Lukman al-Hakim Mataram: Model Komunikasi dan Pendampingan
This study discusses the communication model and assistance pattern of information and communication technology (ICT) literacy for students conducted by teachers in SDI Lukman al Hakim Hidayatullah Mataram. This study is a descriptive qualitative research using participatory observation and in-depth interviews for two months. The study finding shows there are three models of assistance in ICT literacy, ie individual, group, and synergistic teacher-guardian. While the communication models used by teachers are linear and transactional communication models. By utilizing those models, ICT usage in this school has contributed in positive and significant way to support the process of increasing knowledge, learning experience, and internalization of students' tauhid

Papua is the largest province in Indonesia. Indigenous people embrace animism and dynamism. Located in the central part of the island of Papua, the easternmost part of western Papua (formerly Irian Jaya). In the eastern part is the State of Papua New Guinea.
