Usulan Peningkatan Efisiensi Keseimbangan Lini Dengan Value Stream Mapping Dan Yamazumi Chart Pada PT.PAI
PT. PAI is a footware company that produces sports shoes. The production process at PT. PAI, has a waste of 15.891%. To overcome the problems that occur, this study was conducted with the aim of identifying and proposing waste elimination. The method used is a lean manufacturing approach. One of the tools used is Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Yamazumi Chart. The first stage to solve the problem is the identification of waste using the Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM), Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) and VALSAT. The second stage is carried out by designing the current Value Stream Mapping (VSM), designing the proposed improvements using the Yamazumi Chart to balance the production line and designing the Future VSM based on the results of the proposals that have been given. The result of identification using these tools is known that the biggest waste is waste in the process with a percentage of 15.891% followed by overproduction of 15.774%. Based on the calculation using VSM and Yamazumi Chart, elimination of waste can be done as much as 5.48%, reducing the number of workers by 32 people and reducing the number of work stations by 16 work station
Analisis Risiko Postur Kerja pada Pengoperasian Mesin Pengolah Sampah Plastik Creatics
Ketidaknyamanan dalam postur kerja dapat mengakibatkan berbagai permasalahan dalam bekerja. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) atau gangguan pada otot, sendi dan sistem syaraf merupakan permasalahan yang paling banyak terjadi akibat bekerja. Hal tersebut dapat mendatangkan kerugian, baik bagi pekerja maupun perusahaan. Salah satu penyebab musculoskeletal disorders adalah postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis yang dapat membahayakan keselamatan dan kesehatan pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis postur kerja dalam mengoperasikan mesin pengolah sampah terintegrasi Creatics. Metode yang digunakan adalah adalah penyeberan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) untuk mendeteksi keluhan sakit pada bagian tubuh pekerja dan metode observasi Ovako Working Postures Analysis System (OWAS) untuk mendukung hasil kusioner NBM untuk menentukan risiko bahaya dari postur kerja. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah responden mengalami keluhan sakit pada kaki, lutut, paha, lengan, pinggang, lengan atas kanan, lengan bawah kanan, bahu kanan dan pinggang. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil penilaian dengan OWAS yang menunjukkan postur kerja masuk dalam kategori dua, yaitu berbahaya dan perlu perbaikan pada rancangan mesin Creatics di masa yang akan datang
Usulan Perancangan Ulang Tata Letak Lantai Produksi untuk Memaksimalkan Area Produksi (Studi Kasus PT. XYZ)
PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company which produced a variety of products with uncertain demand. All of the products made of Polyurethane. This company plans to expand their production floor at the 1st floor to accommodate the machines at the 2nd floor. The reason for this expansion was because the operators have to go to the 2nd floor if they want to produce some small-sized products, which increases the material flow on the production floor. Furthermore, the ovens located only at the first floor, causing the flow to increase even more. If all the machines are at the same floor, the material flow will decrease. The purpose of this research is to propose layout design, which can reduce the distance between machines. This research using quantitative and qualitative approach. Quantitative approach uses ABSMODEL 3 algorithm, while qualitative approach uses CORELAP method. This final proposal also considers some other areas, which is Quality Control and finishing area including racks for finished products. These two approaches compared in order to know which one generates the shortest distance, where the better result turned out the one using quantitative approach with the total distance of 80,67 m
Analisis Kebijakan, Strategi dan Analisis SWOT Pengelolaan Usaha Rumput Laut Nelayan Daerah Pesisir Pantai Amal Kota Tarakan
This study aims to analyze the policy strategy for the development of effective effort to increase the income of seaweed fishermen. The data were collected through observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, indicator analysis and policy succesfull, and SWOT analysis. Results showed that seaweed fishermen have problems associated with human resources, capital, facility availability, marketing of seaweed product, seaweed seeds supply, weather and networking. The policies and efforts which have been done by local government in Tarakan have not solved the problems yet. This study suggest to maximize the strength and opportunity (SO strategy), utilize the internal strength and minimize external threaten (ST strategy), utilize the opportunity and minimize the weakness (WO strategy) and minimize weakness and anticipate threaten (WT strategy)
Implementasi House of Risk dalam Strategi Mitigasi Penyebab Risiko pada Aktivitas di Bagian Produksi PT. XYZ
In the current competitive environment, every company is required to have a strong supply chain network as part of the company's strategy to survive in the company environment. However, the establishment of a strong supply chain network is not a guarantee of risk free. Risk is the impact of an event, an event occurs due to uncertainty that cannot be predicted by stakeholders. In this study aims to identify and map risk events and causes of risk, and provide proposed actions to minimize risk mitigation strategies with the House of Risk approach. The House of Risk approach is part of risk management in the supply chain where this method is able to identify and map risks and events of risk, and provide proposed mitigation strategies. The results of this study obtained 10 risk events and 17 risk causes with the proposed mitigation actions 7 actions
INTEGRASI MODEL HOUSE OF RISK DAN ANALYTICAL NETWORKING PROCESS (ANP) UNTUK MITIGASI RISIKO SUPPLY CHAIN
Currently, the resilience of the company is not separated from the strength supply chain network. Without this network, so the business process will not run well. But the strong supply chain network became vulnerable to risk. It caused by complexity and a highly dependent supply chain network. These risks need to minimize. The method that can be used to minimize risk with integrating the house of risk method and Analytical Network Process. The purpose of these integration methods to identification and recognized interrelationships between risk agent’s mitigation strategies, so the effect of event risk can be reduced. And then, by looking strategies can reducing costs incurred by the company and efficiency of risk agent’s mitigation strategy. Based on the results of House of Risk stage 1, there are 25 causes of risk that need to mitigate. The risk mitigation strategies that obtained to minimize the causes of risk, are then processed by the Analytical Networking Process (ANP) method. Based on the results of the Analytical Networking Process (ANP) method, there are two risk mitigation strategies. House of Risk stage 2 has applied to measure the efficiency and the level of difficulty of these two risk mitigation strategies. The results showed that the best mitigation strategies are conducting training and measuring company’s performance
Analisis dan Rekayasa Proses Produksi untuk Mengendalikan Environmental Impact Menggunakan Metode LCA
MAY'S BAKERY is a SME engaged in the field of food. Small business scale makes this SME having less attention to the potential of environmental impact, especially that can be caused in the production process. The purpose of this research is to assess and control the environmental impact of bread production process, so that the researcher can design the proposal of alternative production process to choose the which one is the better process. This assessment and control is done by using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. Assessment using LCA is done with the help if SimaPro software. Based on the analysis results, it is known that the environmental impact value caused by the production process currently applied by SME is 3.3824536 Pt and the environmental impact value caused by the alternative production process scenario that can be applied at SME is 3.74539 Pt. So based on the environmental standpoint and LCA, the production process that currently applied at SME is better than the alternative production process scenario
Analisis Hubungan Budaya Perusahaan, kualitas Layanan dan Citra Perusahaan
Komentar negatif yang dilontarkan pelanggan di media sosial mencerminkan bahwa masih terdapat kekurangan pada kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh suatu perusahaan. Hal ini tentunya dapat berdampak pada citra perusahaan, perusahaan dimaksud adalah PT.XYZ Indonesia. Banyak keluhan yang disampaikan oleh pelanggan PT.XYZ Indonesia melalui sosial media twitter dan Instagram. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa, nilai perusahaan PT.XYZ belum diimplementasikan oleh karyawan dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah budaya perusahaan mempengaruhi kualitas layanan, serta untuk membuktikan bahwa budaya perusahaan dan kualitas layanan berpengaruh terhadap citra PT. XYZ Indonesia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan PT. XYZ Indonesia dengan populasi sebanyak 2.200 orang, jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Kemudian, data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa budaya perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citra perusahaan, serta budaya perusahaan dan penerapan kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citra perusahaan. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan agar koordiasi antar karyawan perusahaan dapat dilakukan lebih baik, Karyawan dapat lebih cermat dalam bekerja, serta lebih mengutamakan pelangga

Rapid prototyping technology continues to grow and widely used in the field of human life. The ability to form various objects makes RP technology can go anywhere easily. This literature study aims to determine rapid prototyping technology developments from the beginning to the present and to see future developments. Literature is selected from journals discussing manufacturing technology, its origins, of methods used, of integration with other fields and of the application of RP technology. Scopus used as other data source to know the development of RP research from year to year. Through the analytical facilities available at Scopus, it can be used to know the areas of human life that entered this technology. RP technology is still evolving and integrating with other fields. In the future, this technology will be easily accessible and accessible to everyone
Analisis Manajemen Risiko Aktivitas Pengadaan pada Percetakan Surat Kabar
Risk management is a management effort to control risk the company's operational activities by conducting risk analysis, risk evaluation and its mitigation plan. Risk management efforts are feasible to be applied into the business activities of the company including the procurement activities. PT Masscom Graphy is a printing company that its main request is printing Suara Merdeka newspaper. Since June 2016, there has been a decrease in demand of 27,000 copies of Suara Merdeka newspapers which resulted in disruption of the company's cash flow. It responded by the company by applying a tight money policy on every company activity including procurement activities. Such policies increase the risks that may occur, so that risk management efforts are needed to minimize the impact that can occur. The House of Risk method is used to identify risk events and the risk agents that cause them, and to design mitigation actions to address those risk agents. The results showed that there were 13 risk events and 17 identified risk agents, with the priority risk agents to be addressed were A2 risks (no contracts formed with suppliers) and A14 (application of the same procurement strategy to each raw material). Recommended mitigation actions are (1) review of contract system, (2) differentiation of procurement strategy, (3) mapping of raw material characteristics, and (4) supplier performance evaluation
