Analisis Jarak Tempuh dengan Menggunakan Sistem Simulasi
This research is designed to get the shortest time and distance for Order Picking activities. This activity is categorized as a labor – intensive activity and is the most critical activity in warehouse operation. One way to achieve that is by using the routing method – S-Shape and Return Strategy which are the most common and widely used method by a picker (s). Congestion or queuing factor is included when there are more than one picker and simulated by Warehouse Real Time Simulator (WRTS) and to get the shortest distance by using Warehouse Optimizer (WO). By combining WRTS and WO, the result is shortest distance, shortest time, and optimal man power (picker)
Analisis Tingkat Resiko Bahaya Muskuloskeletal Aktivitas Industri Kecil Makanan di Yogyakarta
The study was originated from the result of observation on production activity of small food industries in Yogyakarta that showed varied awkward postures. Awkward posture will lead continual static loading on soft tissue which potentially cause musculoskeletal disorders and further will affect worker productivity and performance. The aim of the study was to analyze the risk level of musculoskeletal hazard among small food industries in Yogyakarta. The subjects of this study were 112 jobs performed in 16 small food industries in Yogyakarta. Risk level assessment used Baseline Risk Identification of Ergonomic Factors (BRIEF) Survey checklist which evaluate musculoskeletal risk of 9 body parts include posture, force, duration and frequency. The result of this study revealed 38 jobs (33.9%) without high level risk of all body parts and 74 jobs (66.1%) with high risk level in at least one body part. The highest prevalence of high risk level was for neck (36 jobs) and the highest prevalence of low risk level was for left elbow (79 jobs). Statistical analysis showed that there was significant difference of musculoskeletal risk level among 16 industries observed. The study recommended the awareness and proper hazard control to the industries
Penentuan Ukuran Batch pada Batch Processor untuk Meminimasi Makespan
This research determines single-item batch sizing on a batch processor with increasing batch processing time linearly if batch size is more than critical size. The set up time of each batch is constant and it is managed before raw material exist on a machine. The decision variables in this research are the number of batches and batch sizes to minimize makespan. This research assumes all orders have to be delivered to the customer at the same time (common due date). This research also develops an algorithm for common due date case studies. Pengukuran Nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness pada Divisi Painting di PT. AIM
The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the division of painting through the calculation of 3 (three) matrix OEE (availability, performance, quality) and identify the types of losses that cause low OEE elements that affect the performance of painting division. The method used is descriptive analysis, which describes the availability, performance and engine performance in the division of painting based on actual data and information by collecting, compiling, classifying, and analyzing in particular the information and data about the effectiveness of the painting division. The calculation result obtained from the average value of OEE is the average value of 95.33% availability painting division, the value of the average performance of 76.2%%, the average value of 97.4% quality. The value of these three factors resulted OEE values painting division 70.8%. The results of each measurement value losses were 7.58% (equipment failure), 9.52% (setup and adjustment), 74.29% (reduced speed), 8.62% (deffect losses). Of the three elements most significant OEE affect the low performance of the machine in the painting division perfomance rate is 76.2%. While these types contained in the largest loss Reduced speed (74.29%)
Analisis Waktu Picking dengan Menggunakan Zone System
Productivity in order picking time is continuously evaluated and analyzed, because mostly picking is done manually by human. Zone system is one of the methods to increase productivity. In this research, zones is determined by a number of pickers and zone in warehouse is evaluated and divided into 1 zone to 3 zones, congestion and blocking factor are negligible, random storage assignment and S-Shape routing method are used. Total travel time is calculated by summing travel time within storage aisle, travel time in the cross aisle, setup time, and picking time. By comparing among all zones, the result indicates that when the number of zones increases, expected time to finish pick route will be decreased

Perancangan dan Pembuatan Aplikasi Penyusunan Jadwal Kerja Dinas Jaga Perawat IGD Menggunakan Algoritma TPB
A hospital has an installation services including outpatient, inpatient, ER and laboratories. In making the case in the ER department schedules, lack of attention to equity aspects schedule guard duty nurse. Nurse scheduling is one of the problems in health care organizations that are hard to solve. The number of patients who are not controlled, the seriousness of the patient's disease, absence and private demand for the holiday, including making a schedule for each nurse into working hours (shifts) different in the short term. Seeing those conditions, it is done using the ER nurse scheduling algorithm method Tibrewala, Phillipe and Brown (TPB). This method can produce a schedule to minimize the amount of labor. In this research is also developing software for web-based application scheduling algorithm based on TPB.Making an application based on Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) is simple, consisting of one admin as manager application. Scheduling resulting from the processing of nurses to determine the needs, the number of nurses and the number of shift each nurse. The structure of application is made simple program consisting of, the need for nurses, shift work and the needs of the iteration process to generate schedules. Scheduling algorithms using the TPB can result in the division of labor and the amount of work shift power evenly to each nurse. This application help the process of scheduling the event of changes relating to the scheduling so that the scheduling process can be done at any time by efficiently and effectively
Model Pelacakan Area Perhatian Manusia pada Pekerjaan Perakitan Berbasis Self-Optimizing System
This research aims at investigating the area of interest (AOI) of the human operator when conducting automated robotic assembly task. A technical system, so called control cognitive unit (CCU), is applied into this empirical study to represent human cognition system and based on the prior knowledge, to adapt into condition changing of product structure and material supply. To improve the compatibility between human expectation and the technical system, this empirical study is designed and focused on different model of robot behaviour based on number of human-oriented production rule that applied in the models. Participants are expected to recognize the robot’s work pattern regarding assembly sequences using LEGO brick and carburetor and then to predict the position of the next brick or carburetor part. The result of ANOVA test of assembly task using LEGO brick finds significant differences on the fixation duration for the interaction between the model of robot behaviour and the assembly group as well as between the assembly group and AOI. Assembly with carburetor shows a significant difference for interaction between the model of robot behaviour and AOI. Analisis Order Picking dengan Menggunakan Metode Routing Heuristics di Gudang PT. GMS
Order picking is the most labour and costly activities both in manual system and automated system. So, it is necessary to improve efficiency and productivity. One way to do is to reduce travel distance or travel time. Time can be reduced by implementing routing heuristics method which has the shortest distance, and shorter distance means less energy consumption and fit to greener warehousing concept. The research at PT. GMS, Jakarta shows the routing method – Midpoint, The Largest Gap, and Combined – dynamic programming are the most efficient metho
