Efektivitas ifdil perceptual light technique (IPLT) untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa
Nomophobia merupakan gangguan kesehatan mental yang tidak disadari oleh para remaja saat ini. World Health Organization (WHO) menyatakan bahwa remaja memiliki kerentanan untuk mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media social. Nomophobia telah dimasukkan kedalam Manual Diagnostik dan Statistik Gangguan Mental, edisi kelima (DSM-V). Kondisi psikologis seperti ini perlunya sebuah upaya intervensi segera untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen dengan metode single subjek research (SSR) dengan desain A-B. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas Ifdil Perceptual Light Technique (IPLT) dalam mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. Intervensi menggunakan IPLT melalui modifikasi sensorik dan persepsi individu melalui spektrum cahaya untuk mengatasi nomophobia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu terhadap tiga subjek yang mengalami nomophobia dalam kategori tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi wawancara, teknik scaling dan menggunakan instrumen No Mobile Phone Phobia (NMP-Q). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Ifdil Perceptual Light Technique (IPLT) efektif untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa
GRIT Guru PAUD ditinjau dari peran kepribadian playfulness dan playful work design
In-depth ongoing research has explained that a person's Grit is influenced by consistency of interest and persistence. However, not many have examined whether there are other factors that can contribute to increasing Grit. . To measure Grit, we used the Indonesian version of Teacher Grit Scale (TGS), then to measure the level of Playfulness, we used Adult Playfulness Trait Scale (APTS), and Playful Work Design (PWD) scale was used to measure the level of Playful Work Design.We use predictive-correlational designed, with statistical analysis using multiple linear regression techniques using SPSS IBM version 25. The findings shows Playfulness personality and Playful Work Design simultaneously predict Grit in early childhood teachers. Playfulness and Playful Work Design provide an influence on Grit by 29.8%, while the other influence of 70.2% comes from other factors not examined in this research. The results of this research show that a playful personality alone is not enough, but must be accompanied by cognitive abilities to design oneself and the environment to be playful, in order to significantly influence PAUD Teacher Grit
Pengembangan e-modul bibliotherapy untuk mencegah stres pada ibu muda
This study aims to produce a bibliotherapy e-module to prevent stress in young mothers. The research method used is the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The initial research subjects were 126 young mothers in Koto Baru District of Sungai Penuh City with purposive sampling. The research instrument used is the Parental Stress Scale (PSS) adapted to the Indonesian version. The e-module will be validated by 3 counseling experts for content and 2 IT experts for appearance or design, as well as a small group trial of 9 young mothers. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the developed e-module prototype is applicable to be used independently by young mothers to prevent stress
Case study of social marketing implementation in covid-19 promotion media and public knowledge of covid-19 in Jayapura city
This research is based on the critical role of social marketing in raising awareness and promoting healthy behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in Jayapura City, where challenges persist in disseminating effective information and influencing public behavior regarding health protocol adherence. The study aims to analyze the implementation of social marketing through promotional media, such as posters and health protocols displayed in public areas, in enhancing knowledge and influencing behavioral changes among the residents of Jayapura City in COVID-19 prevention. A qualitative case study method was used to evaluate the implementation of social marketing in COVID-19 promotional media and its impact on public knowledge in Jayapura City. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with respondents from diverse social backgrounds, as well as direct observation of promotional media distributed throughout the city. The findings reveal that while promotional media, such as COVID-19 posters and health protocols displayed in public areas, succeeded in improving the public's basic understanding of the importance of health protocols, there were significant barriers to the consistent application of such behaviors. Factors such as limited access to information, a lack of in-depth understanding, and social resistance to behavioral changes posed considerable challenges to enhancing the effectiveness of the campaign. The research also found that while the campaign positively impacted awareness levels, a more integrated and contextual approach is needed to achieve comprehensive behavioral change among the community
Ragam Layanan Pendidikan Inklusif Dan Bentuk Pelibatan Orang Tua Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus
Implementasi pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia masih bervariasi disetiap daerah, termasuk di Kota Kendari. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa kendala yang meliputi kebijakan, masih kurangnya ketersediaan tenaga pendidik yang terlatih, serta sarana dan prasarana guna mendukung kebutuhan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Ketercapaian potensi anak di sekolah inklusif bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab guru saja tetapi juga menjadi tanggung jawab orang tua sebagai lingkungan pertama dan utama anak di rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini difokuskan pada ragam layanan pendidikan inklusif dalam model kelas sesuai tingkat kebutuhan peserta didik, bentuk pelibatan orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat terlaksananya ragam layanan pendidikan inklusif dan bentuk pelibatan orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah guru kelas, shadow teacher, dan orang tua. Sumber data sekunder penelitian ini adalah dokumen-dokumen sekolah seperti kurikulum, fasilitas pendukung, dan program sekolah. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan ragam layanan pendidikan inklusif di lembaga PAUD meliputi model kelas, pendekatan pembelajaran, layanan khusus, sarana dan prasarana serta pembiayaan. (2) bentuk pelibatan orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu kontribusi dan kebutuhan. (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat berupa dukungan dan tantangan yang muncul di lingkungan sekolah dan di rumah
Kondisi Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) pada siswa: analisis berdasarkan gender, kondisi keluarga, dan teknologi
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) pada siswa di Sumatera Barat berdasarkan faktor gender, keluarga, dan penggunaan teknologi. Desain kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data diperoleh dari 539 siswa yang diseleksi menggunakan purposive sampling yang berasal dari berbagai SMP dan SMA di Sumatera Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) yang sudah divalidasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak statistik JASP versi 0.18.0.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan memiliki tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Siswa yang berasal dari keluarga dengan orang tua tunggal menunjukkan kecenderungan kecemasan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang tinggal bersama kedua orang tua. Selain itu, penggunaan internet dan jumlah perangkat teknologi seperti smartphone serta akun media sosial berhubungan dengan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi. Social interaction and successful aging in elderly with chronic diseases
Social interaction plays a crucial role in supporting successful aging, particularly among elderly individuals with chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and heart disease. This study aims to analyze the impact of social interaction on successful aging among elderly people visiting the Andalas Health Center in Padang City. A causal-comparative design with a cross-sectional approach was used, involving 266 elderly individuals who visited the health center between May and June 2023. Data were collected using a Likert-based questionnaire measuring social interaction and successful aging. The results of the correlation test reveal that various aspects of social interaction positively influence dimensions of successful aging, including lifestyle, physical health, and mental health. Participation in social activities had the highest correlation with lifestyle (0.60) and physical health (0.48), while close social relationships correlated positively with lifestyle (0.49), physical health (0.33), and mental health (0.35). Furthermore, satisfaction with social support had the greatest impact on mental health (0.49), followed by physical health (0.39) and lifestyle (0.44), emphasizing the importance of both active social participation and feeling supported in maintaining overall well-being. These findings suggest that enhancing social interaction, particularly through community engagement and strong interpersonal relationships, is a significant factor in improving the quality of life and supporting successful aging, especially for elderly individuals with chronic conditions. Therefore, community-based interventions and health programs that promote social participation and strengthen social support networks are recommended to foster healthier aging
Rational emotive behavior therapy for reducing adolescent anxiety in post-covid-19 pandemic online learning: group approach and single case design
The COVID-19 pandemic led to prolonged isolation and a widespread shift to online education, which has influenced students' emotional well-being. As schools transitioned back to in-person learning, many students exhibited signs of anxiety. Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is recognized as a promising method for addressing post-isolation anxiety by helping students develop rational thoughts and emotional regulation. This study explores the prevalence of anxiety among students involved in distance learning and examines the effectiveness of REBT in alleviating this anxiety. A single case design was employed with 6 students, selected from an initial group of 121 participants from five junior high schools in Denpasar, Indonesia. After filling out an anxiety questionnaire, 6 students were selected based on their anxiety levels and willingness to participate. These students underwent 12 REBT sessions, which included both group therapy and individual techniques. The analysis of pre- and post-test data revealed a significant reduction of 33.5% in anxiety levels, with statistical analysis showing a p-value of 0.025 (<0.05), confirming the positive impact of REBT. The study highlights the importance of addressing anxiety during transitions in education and underscores the potential of REBT in improving students' emotional well-being in post-pandemic learning environments. Further research can explore the long-term effects of REBT and its integration into school-based mental health programs
Negative social experiences and self-esteem in people with schizophrenia
Schizophrenia, a chronic mental health condition, is often compounded by social stigma and discrimination, which can significantly affect the well-being of individuals diagnosed with the disorder. This study explores the impact of negative social experiences and responses to discrimination on the self-esteem of individuals with schizophrenia, a population often affected by social stigma that harms their psychological well-being. Using a quantitative correlational design, the study aimed to analyze the relationship between these variables. The research was conducted in 2023 at the Adult Polyclinic RSJ Prof. HB Saanin Padang, involving 341 schizophrenia patients. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire that assessed negative social experiences, responses to discrimination, and self-esteem, with data analyzed using Pearson's correlation test. The results indicated a significant relationship between both negative social experiences (r = 0.032 p < 0.05) and responses to discrimination (r = 0.045, p < 0.05) with self-esteem. These findings contribute to the growing body of literature on stigma and self-esteem in schizophrenia, highlighting the detrimental effects of social discrimination on mental health. Based on these results, it is recommended that psychological interventions for schizophrenia sufferers incorporate strategies to reduce stigma and address discrimination, which could improve their self-esteem and overall quality of life
Pengaruh strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan dan jenis kelamin terhadap keterampilan gerak dasar anak usia dini
Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak. Strategi Pembelajaran Rangkaian Permainan yang menyenangkan dan kompetitif diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penelitian eksperimen dengan analisis data Anova 2 arah untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Jumlah populasi 70 anak dan sampel 36 anak. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan antara strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional, terdapat perbedaan antara laki-laki dan Perempuan, terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan jenis kelamin, terdapat perbedaan strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan (laki-laki) dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional (laki-laki), terdapat perbedaan strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan (perempuan) dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional (perempuan). Jadi kesimpulannya adalah Strategi Pembelajaran Rangkaian Permainan untuk anak laki-laki atau perempuan sama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak dasar dibandingkan strategi pembelajaran konvensional. Penggunaan strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan sangat penting dan berdampak baik dalam proses pembelajaran gerak dasar anak usia dini. Setiap guru TK dapat menerapkan strategi pembelajaran rangkaian permainan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan gerak dasa
