No full textWe revisit the CPT theorem for the Dirac equation and its extended version based on the vector representation of the Lorentz group. Then it is proposed that CPTM may apply to this fundamental equation for a massive fermion a s a singlet or a doublet with isospin. The symbol M stands here for reversing the sign of the mass in the Dirac equation, which can be accomplished by operation on it with the so-called gamma-five matrix that plays an essential role for the chirality in the Standard Model. We define the CPTM symmetry for the standard and extended Dirac equation and discuss its physical implications and some possible consequences for general relativity

No full textPunch cards and their tabulating machines are presumed to be the first data processing technologiesin history. Punch card systems were also used for medical records in the second half ofthe 20th century. To date, they have received little attention in medical history. The followingpaper aims to reconstruct the object-based history of an accidental discovery in the context ofout-of-home care child and youth psychiatry. The track leads from the children’s observationward in Innsbruck to the Hans Zulliger ward in Berlin. The specific punch card is presentedas an early data processing instrument facilitating knowledge building in the framework ofthe research of neglect as well as a crucial point for the beginning of the protests against therestrictive out-of-home care policies (Heimkampagne) in Berlin in 1970

No full textLandslide inventory data sets are required for any landslide susceptibility mapping and prediction approaches. However, generating accurate landslide inventory data sets depends on applied methods and quality of input data, for example spatial resolution for satellite imagery. Therefore, the accuracy and availability of inventories vary in different studies. This study evaluated a strategy of sudden landslide identification product (SLIP) for landslide detection using Bi-Temporal Sentinel 2 Imagery and ALOS Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The resulting landslide detection map was then compared with an improved version of SLIP based on a fuzzy overlay. The resulting probability map was classified into three classes using the natural breaks method; the third class with the highest probability was extracted as the final map. The accuracy assessment stage demonstrated that using the improved version increased the accuracy by 16% compared to the SLIP method

No full textEine lang bekannte, aber erst 2020 publizierte „Bauinschrift“ aus dem 4. Jahrhundert v. Chr. berichtet über Verhängung von Geldbußen und Einnahmen von Geldzahlungen. Sie erfährt im vorliegenden Beitrag einen juristischen Kommentar. Neue Erkenntnisse bringt der Fall des Elfenbeinschnitzers Pasiteles aus Hermione: Er wird wegen Diebstahls des Materials verklagt, Amtsträger aus Epidauros stellen eine Hausdurchsuchung in seiner Heimatpolis an, eine Gerichtsversammlung fällt ein „Beweisurteil“, wonach er sich freischwören könne, er flieht aus Epidauros, schließlich wird sein dort greifbares Vermögen beschlagnahmt und versteigert; der Rest der nicht einbringlichen Bußzahlung wird nach ca. 20 Jahren bei seinem Sohn in Hermione eingetrieben. Bisher war nicht bekannt, dass die archaischen Rechtseinrichtungen der Hausdurchsuchung und des Reinigungseides in hellenistischer Zeit noch praktiziert wurden, wenn auch in modernisierter Form
