For more sustainable urban behaviour and mobility, innovative methods are needed to change behaviour. We discuss the results of an explorative study of the use of a personal mobility tracker (a digital, data-based tool) to motivate users to adopt a more sustainable city lifestyle. We examine motivational techniques that can influence citizens’ personal mobility on a day-to-day basis. Using a personal mobility app that incorporates gamified elements and nudging, citizens become part of a community. They are motivated to cycle more and to explore sustainable services in the city through tours and visiting points of interest. We present the first results of a trial of this mobile app: characteristics of users, and empirical data that indicate a change in cycling behaviour. We also show effects of nudging on personal mobility

After the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, a dual legal system was implemented on the territory of Bohemia and Moravia – Protectorate law (autonomous) and German law (imperial). Its application was usually based on the citizenship of the subjects of the legal relations. Along with the introduction of legal dualism, a German judiciary was also established, parallel to the comprehensive German occupation administrative apparatus led by the Reich Protector. Throughout the existence of the Protectorate, German officials kept intervening into the autonomous law, therefore the often proclaimed ‘autonomy’ was gradually fading away. In the contribution, the collections of publications in which provisions of the imperial law as well as the autonomous law were published, will be introduced

The timeframe for the prosecution of Nazi crimes was limited in Austria by extinctive prescription. In the late 1960sand early 1970s, only the last and most severe crimes were still punishable and hardly any Nazi trials took place. Inthe few trials, the juries reached a number of scandalous acquittals, which caused international outrage and criticism. On the other hand, the Austrian population was not interested in dealing with the Austrian participation inthe atrocities committed during the Nazi regime. There was also agreement in politics to ‘put the past behind’.Against this background, the new Austrian Criminal Code (StGB) entered into force on 1st January 1975. Unrecognizedby the international community, the Austrian media, the population and even most politicians and legalscholars, it contained provisions (§§ 61, 62 and § 65 StGB) which led to the sudden prescription of most of the stillpunishable Nazi crimes. In the following article, the development of sections 61, 62 and 65 of the Austrian CriminalCode and their effects on the possibility of prosecuting Nazi crimes in Austria will for the first time be examined. Inaddition, it will address the question whether the de facto ‘amnesty of Nazi murderers’ brought by the new CriminalCode was planned or merely a legislative accident
