Full text linkSingapore has renewed its Formula 1 Grand Prix contract in 2022 even though it has not benefited from the racing event for two years due to pandemic of Covid-19. This study aims to find out Singapore's reasons for extending the contract of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2022. This research uses qualitative methods. The theory of liberalism is used in this study to find out and understand Singapore's reasons for extending the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix contract. The result of this study is the Formula 1 Grand Prix Extention by Singapore is a form of the country’s nation branding efforts. Nation branding carried out by Singapore through the Formula 1 Grand Prix is divided into six aspects, namely tourism, cultural heritage, government, community, exports and investment. The success of nation branding in this event is the increase of country's image which is marked by the increase in foreign tourist visits to Singapore

Full text linkLKSA Al- Firdaus is an institution that provides substitute services for parents in meeting the needs of children who have an underprivileged background, do not have a complete family, neglected children and delinquent children. Referring to the conditions on the ground that all foster children do not live in the Al-Firdaus orphanage. Apart from that, regarding the physical condition of the children who looked healthy, contained even though they came from underprivileged families. This study aims to describe the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA AlFirdaus. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The informant determination technique uses purposive. Data collection techniques using non- participatory observation, semi- structured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing/ verification. In addition, the researcher used method and source triangulation techniques. The results of this study describe the form of meeting the needs provided by LKSA to their foster children. The conclusion is that the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA Al- firdaus is in the form of (1) fulfilling physiological needs which include fulfilling clothing, food, health, and education (2) meeting security and safety needs (3) meeting social needs (4) meeting social needs appreciation (5) fulfillmen

Full text linkNglanggeran Tourism Village has several leading tourist objects, one of which is Kedung Kandang. The Kedung Kandang area presents an epic blend of natural beauty and modern accommodation, namely glamping. Some of the supporting facilities at Kedung Kandang have not been able to bring in many visitors, this is due to several factors, one of which is the lack of information and promotional media. One of the information media that can be used is e-booklets. The Kedung Kandang e-booklet displays some information such as Kedung Kandang Waterfall, glamping, flora and fauna, existing facilities and packages that can be chosen when visiting Kedung Kandang. To apply the Kedung Kandang e-booklet as an information medium, there are several means that are used, namely through the link in Kedung Kandang's Instagram bio and the QR code that can be found at the entrance to the Nglanggeran Purba Volcano. The purpose of this research is to describe the stages of making the Kedung Kandang e-booklet as a tourist information medium and to describe the material displayed in the Kedung Kandang e-booklet. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and literature study. Full text linkBeggars have become the main problem in various regions, especially in urban slum areas due to the poverty conditions in their environment. One of the villages located in the Talangsari area in the Jember Kidul Village, which is often stigmatized by the local community by the nickname "Beggar's Village" because many of its children beg. This moved one of the village's local leaders to carry out a strategy to empower village children through the Singo Gendeng Community. This community was established as a forum for educating traditional arts that were developed such as jaranan art, reog and so on with the aim that the habit of begging in children can be reduced and replaced with creativity and artistic skills. This research approach is qualitative with the type of research used is a case study. The technique of determining the informants and research locations is purposive. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate a strategy carried out by local leaders through the Singo Gendeng Community in an effort to empower children to beg by fostering children's interest in art so that children are interested in participating in art activities. Besides that, it also cultivates potential and develops artistic talent in children through dance training activities, practicing playing musical instruments, performing and making crafts, so that their skills grow well

This research was conducted using a quantitative research method and collected data through a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 53 employees, which were part of the total population of 62 employees at CV. Pilar Emas. The sampling technique used in this research was proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrument testing was conducted using validity and reliability tests. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses regarding the influence of workload and job stress on employee performance, and the results indicated that workload and job stress have a significant influence on employee performance at CV. Failure of Myanmar's Democratic Transition
No full textMyanmar is one of the countries that carried out military coups several times from 1962 to 2021. Although known as an authoritative ruler, the military junta has carried out more democratic policies, such as opening space for press freedom and holding Myanmar‘s election which allowed the participation of a pro-democratic party namely the NLD Party. However, the military junta suddenly staged a military coup in 2021. In previous years, Myanmar's military junta attempted to make a democratic transition. This raises the question of what factors caused the democratic transition in Myanmar to fail, despite previous positive results. The phenomenon of democratic transition in Myanmar will be analyzed using democratic transition theory, democratization theory, and the concept of civil-military relations. This study uses an approach-explanation approach to determine the failure factors of the democratic transition in Myanmar. Based on the theories, concepts, and research methods used, the failure of the democratic transition in Myanmar occurred due to four factors: The first factor is the democratic transition in Myanmar using the top-down path. The second factor is that the transition is not followed by the installation of democracy. The third factor is that the civil-military relations in Myanmar are included in the category of unbalanced civilian accommodation. The fourth factor, the military afraid of Aung San Suu Kyi succeeded in amending the 2008 constitution which will remove military privileges

Full text linkJapan Foundation merupakan sebuah lembaga nirlaba khusus yang bergerak pada bidang pertukaran kebudayaan. Lembaga ini pertama kali dibentuk oleh parlemen Jepang pada tahun 1972 dan berpusat di Tokyo. Japan Foundation didirikan dengan tujuan untuk mempererat hubungan masyarakat Jepang dengan masyarakat di negara-negara lain melalui pertukaran kebudayaan. Namun demikian, program-program kerja sama yang dilaksanakan Japan Foundation sejak akhir 2019 terhambat oleh situasi pandemi COVID-19 yang membuat banyak negara mengambil keputusan untuk menutup jalur perjalanan internasional dan meminimalisir aktivitas tatap muka. Program Bimbingan Keterampilan dalam Mempertahankan Keberfungsian Sosial Lanjut Usia di UPT PSTW Banyuwangi
Full text linkUPT Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Banyuwangi merupakan panti naungan Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memberikan pelayanan terhadap lanjut usia terlantar yang mempunyai tugas di bidang penyantunan, rehabilitasi, bantuan, bimbingan, pengembangan dan resosialisasi. Lembaga berbasis HSO atau Human Service Organization ini berperan penting dalam upaya mempertahankan maupun meningkatkan kapasitas diri (capacity building) dengan membentuk atau mengubah atribut pribadi lansia dengan menyesuaikan kemampuannya dalam menerima pelayanan yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program bimbingan keterampilan terhadap kebertahanan keberfungsian sosial lansia. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi non-partisipasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis datanya dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggambarkan proses intervensi program bimbingan keterampilan yang dilakukan dengan pemberian pendampingan dan pengarahan melalui kegiatan teknis dan non-teknis seperti pelatihan pembuatan kerajinan, membangun hubungan antar lansia, pembiasaan beribadah, dan lain-lain. Kesimpulannya, pelaksanaan intervensi program bimbingan keterampilan di UPT Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Banyuwangi berjalan sesuai dan berdampak pada tercapainya perbaikan pada keberfungsian sosial lanjut usia. Hal yang perlu dilakukan unit pelaksana dalam memperbaiki program bimbingan keterampilan yakni dengan menjalin kerja sama dengan pihak eksternal yang dapat mendukung penuh perkembangan atau kemajuan program bimbingan keterampilan.

Implementasi Kepatuhan Iran terhadap Protokol Montreal melalui Program HCFC Phase-Out Management Plan (HPMP) Tahun 2017-2021
Full text linkThe Montreal Protocol is an International Environmental Agreement that regulates the protection of the ozone layer by controlling the use of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS). HCFC is type of ODS which is regulated under the Annex C of the protocol and must be phased-out by parties. Iran is one of the countries that ratified the Montreal Protocol and is obliged to comply with the implementation of the agreement. However, Iran's consumption of HCFCs is reasonably high, resulting a very significant increase in air temperature. This study aims to answer the question on how to implement Iran's compliance with the Montreal Protocol in reducing HCFC consumption. The theory used in this research is the compliance theory by Ronald B. Mitchell to analyze Iran's compliance with the protocol through 3 indicators namely, output, outcome, and impact. This is descriptive qualitative reseacrh with data obtained from literature study. This research results that changes in Iranian behavior are well achieved through the implementation of the HCFC Phase-out Management Plan program. The behavior changes emerged since HPMP involves 4 main areas specifically, training, HCFC conversion, awareness raising, and financial assistance

Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the process innovation of integrated population documents at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Sumenep Regency. The Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Sumenep Regency, as the implementing element of population administration services, still faces several problems due to the lengthy process of providing services. Therefore, Disdukcapil made an improvement by launching an integrated population document service innovation. This innovation brings new work processes or service procedures to make it easier and faster. This study aims to describe the innovation of integrated population document services at Disdukcapil, Sumenep Regency. The type of research used is the paradigm post-positivism with a qualitative approach. The data analysis used is interactive model data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the process innovation in the integrated population document service launched by the Sumenep Regency Disdukcapil is still not fully optimal, but there has been a renewal in the process innovation launched, as seen from the simplification of the service process offline and also the availability of servicesonline. It’s just that, in its implementation it still encounters several obstacles, including the service process in person online provided is still not able to be used properly by the island community because access to the internet network is still difficult to reach. In addition, there were complaints regarding the attitude of employees who were still considered unfriendly and lacking in discipline which contributed to suboptimal community satisfaction
