Tinjauan Hukum Islam terhadap Perkawinan Beda Kelas Muslim Sasak di Lombok
This article attempts to examine in depth, based on the theory of kafâ‘ah, different class marriages in the Sasak Muslim community, Lombok. The study concludes that on one hand, the different class marriages between noblewomen and non-noblemen do not have an impact on the purpose of marriage which is to create sakînah, mawaddah, and rahmah household. On the other hand, the marriage that is based on Islamic values is able to realize a happy and harmonious household regardless of social status background. The most important thing in domestic life is communication and trust between husbands and wives. In fiqh munâkah}ât, it is required when someone is looking for a spouse, something that needs to be seen is lineage, beauty, wealth and religion. This article would like to emphasize that there is no prohibition in Islam to marry people of different social class
Pendekatan Sosiologi Pengetahuan Kiri Islam Hasan Hanafî
The Islamic Left was not born out of a vacuum. It is a manifestation of a particular social constructs. The Islamic Left is H}asan H}anafî’s thought which is based on his experiences. As to view the Islamic Left as a social reality, sociology of knowledge will be used. The sociology of knowledge not only rejects the notion that social reality is born from a vacuum, but it also analyzes the socially constructed reality, and how the reality was accepted by society as a fact. Therefore, the sociology of knowledge will analyze process of the formation of the Islamic Left as a social reality, and how the Islamic Left can be seen and accepted by society. In an objective reality, the Islamic Left is a discourse of thought of a particular experience with the aim of revolution. While in a subjective reality, the Islamic Left can be considered as an individual who was born at a time when human values are at stake in the history of life, either in a global context or in a context of Islam itself. Thus, it builds awareness that distinguishes him/herself psychologically with others. This study expects the ideas contained in the Islamic Left to be used widely to analyze different contexts so that the application of the Islamic Left ideas can be viewed
Infiltrasi Salafi Wahabi pada Buku Teks di Madrasah dan Respons Warga Nahdliyin
This article reviews the infiltration of Salafi-Wahabi’s teaching to madrasas through textbooks distributed to several areas, including Kediri. The textbook teaches purification of Islam from various local traditions. It also tells readers about struggles to political Islam either through parliament or the preparation of government regulations. Moreover, it invites readers to acts of violence. The presence of this textbook becomes interesting to be viewed from the politics of education perspective, as it becomes media to foster the ideology of religious movements which slowly goes through the learning process. The process has taken places in Islamic Junior High schools (Madrasa Tsanawiya) and Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasa Aliya), by inserting an ideology of a certain religious movement through Aqeedah-Akhlaq subject. Responding the presence of the textbook, activists of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Kediri have published counter madrasa textbooks. They have also published Student Worksheets (LKS) Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin which contents try to strengthen the teaching of NU in madrasas
Kesahihan dan Ke-Da‘îf-an Hadîth “Perkara Halal yang Paling Dibenci Allah Adalah Talak” dan Implikasinya terhadap Konsep Talak
The study deals with the discussion about the validity of hadîth about “the most despised matter by God is divorce” and its invalidity as well as the implication of each status of sahîh and da‘îf which rests in the hadîth towards the concept of lawfulness and detestation of divorce. For certain group of people this hadîth might seem wise, since it would be able to significantly decrease the number of divorce or to be a sort of “an ultimate weapon” for judge or parents to give advice for spouse who experience domestic rift. However, for other people the hadîth seems inconsistent. They argue that it is impossible for God to hate a lawful matter. Therefore, the hadîth is unique, since it is validated by a number of prominent Muslim scholars on one hand. On the other, there are also a number of noticeable Muslim scholars who believe the hadîth as da‘îf. Each group, however, build their argument on a common ground, i.e. conventional science of the critique of hadîth
Sistem Bisnis Waralaba Restoran Ayam Bakar Wong Solo dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Islam
This article tries to analyze the franchise business system of Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Restaurant through the Islamic economics perspective. The franchise business system applied by the Ayam Bakar Wong Solo is a cooperation (shirkah) with the type of shirkah mudârabah, where there is a cooperation between the Ayam Bakar Wong Solo as a manager (mudârib) and investors as owners of capital (sahib al-mâl). Both parties allied in the venture capital and the advantage of the alliance is divided in accordance with the agreements that have been agreed between the two. The Ayam Bakar Wong Solo offers two forms of shirkah mudârabah, namely mudârabah mutlaqah and mudârabah muqayyadah. It is found that there is a correspondence between the execution of the Ayam Bakar Wong Solo franchise and shirkah mudârabah practices in Islamic economics because the franchise system which is run has been suitably qualified and has met the rukn of shirkah mudârabah. However, there is a concept of franchis-ing which is more in line with Islamic economics, namely the principle of sharing in mudârabah and mushârakah as a substitute for a franchise concept with franchise fee and royalty fee
Keluarga Nirkekerasan sebagai Prasyarat Keluarga Sakînah
The article tries to redefine the meaning of sakînah family by emphasizing the importance of understanding the essence of marriage and domestic violence, which leads to criminal action, for spouse. Marriage is a social contract and agreement between a man and a woman, which aims at legalizing sexual interaction, making familial relationship through marriage, ensuring one’s descendant, making a family, and living life together. Criminal action within marital relationship is any action committed by each spouse over another that violates laws, any action that harms his/her spouse physically, physiologically and economically, and/or a spouse who ignores his/her responsibility over another and over his/her children in the domestic sphere. Sakînah family is a family which build on the basis of faith and piety upon God, a family whose breadwinner is able to fulfill the needs of family members based on his ability, a family which lives harmoniously and peacefully, a family which possesses ability and capability to overcome any conflicts among its members, a family with no violence and domestic crime, and a family whose members play their role respectively
Kosmopolitanisme dan Transmisi Keilmuan Pada Kejayaan Intelektual Dinasti ‘Abbâsîyah
The ‘Abbasid intellectual heyday was a social condition that was built up of cosmopolitanism of Islamic society. Cosmopolitanism means recognizing the diversity of identity, emphasizing the dynamic character of the various groups, and responding the potential for creating new cultural combinations. The ‘Abbasid Dynasty facilitated inter-cultural assimilation process, so that the intellectual tradition developed so rapidly. The intellectual triumph was established because of the cultural hybrid of “friendly” and “unfriendly” cultures that interacted symmetric-ally. Elements of cultural authenticity brought by immigrants experienced universalization and thus recognized by other tribes. One of the ways of the universalization was through the transmission of knowledge in the administration of education in classical educational institutions. The cosmopolitanism of ‘Abbas-id Islamic society made the transmission process conducted in various Islamic educational institutions rich and diverse. In addition, the impact of cultural assimilation adopted by ‘Abbasid society contributed to cultural diffusion, one of which was the transmission of knowledge
Aspek Religiositas Masyarakat Peziarah Makam Shaykh Abdul Muhyi Pamijahan Tasikmalaya
Pamijahan as the conduct of the pilgrimage is a phenomen that deserve to be the field of research. Because in that place there are various of human activities and different cultures, beliefs and expectations of the cultural struggle that became a cultural pilgrimage. Pamijahan a mystical village that has a value that is believed to give karâmah and blessing for the visitors. Blessing is obtained from the pilgrimage performed at the tomb of Shaykh Abdul Muhyi and other tombs at the site. Confidence Pamijahan pilgrims believe that the shrine is the tomb of Shaykh Abdul Muhyi who are considered sacred by many struggles and sacrifices for the religion. Abdul Muhyi struggle to spread Islam and coupled with the value sufistik satariah orders which he got from his teacher. To analyze the motives and goals of pilgrimage Friday Pamijahan author tries to communicate with the theory Tallcot Parsons, the adaptation, goal, integration and latency. The result is there are different motives inter-pilgrims at the funeral Pamijahan. Motifs that can be concluded is the intent or purpose contained in the implementation of the pilgrimage, usually intent was inspired by science or deeds that practiced by the pilgrims, besides other requests
Resiliensi Berbasis Religi bagi Mantan PSK dan Mucikari Pascapenutupan Lokalisasi Gandul Tuban
This article attempts to explain resilience (ability to adapt and to remain tough in critical and difficult situation) of prostitute women (Pekerja Seks Komersial or PSK) and procurers after the prostitution site of Gandul in Pakah, Gesing Village in Tuban Regency has been closed. The study aims to reveal not only the resilience of the ex-prostitute women (PSK) and procurers in dealing with difficult situation but it also tries expose the role of religion to help these people in dealing with resilience. To know whether the religion is able to play role in such situation, the writer along with a number of prominent figures of Gandul Village as well as the ex-prostitute women and procurers have initiated a set of religious activities. The religious activities provide these people a valuable matters and information about Islamic teachings such as prayer (salat), fasting, and charity. In addition, the activities also deal with social aspects. These activities aim to help the participants perform Islamic teachings correctly and live better
Metodologi Penafsiran Sa‘îd Hawwâ dalam al-Asâs fî al-Tafsîr
This article examines the exegesis methodology of Sa‘îd Hawwâ in al-Asâs fî al-Tafsîr. The book is the exegesis literature written in the paradigm of the unity of al-Qur'ân theme theory (al-Wahdah al-Mawdû‘îyah li al-Qur’ân al-Karîm). Methodological steps taken by Hawwâ in realizing the goal of his interpretation are as follows: a) explaining the substance of suras (chapters) globally and the relationship among the suras in the context of the arrangement of the layout of al-Qur’ân, b) displaying some verses based on their munâsabah groups, c) giving global understanding of each group of verses, d) describing the literal meaning of each verse, e) conducting explanatory of riwayat, f) analyzing issues regarding the suras and verses in the form of chapters, g) mentioning the important matters in the suras and verses concerning meanings, laws, wisdoms, and purposes of shara‘ contained in the verses, and h) describing the correlation of parts of al-Qur'ân in the context of the theory of al-Wahdah al-Mawdû‘îyah li al-Qur’ân al-Karîm
