Indonesia's Trade Policy Strategy through the Rail Industry for the Train Market in Africa
The Indonesian Railway Industry (INKA) has increased its export production, especially to other developing countries such as Bangladesh, the Philippines, and others. Since 2018, Indonesia has explored the railway industry market in Africa. However, several challenges such as market competition with China and Europe, the distance between Indonesia and Africa, as well as the purchasing power of the African region with the majority of developing and less developed countries are important notes for Indonesia's strategy. This research will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and strategies of INKA in exporting trains in the African region. The analysis of this research uses international trade politics through the Pure Exchange Model of Trade and Strategic Trade Policy. The Pure Exchange Model of Trade is used to explain INKA's position in international trade to understand INKA's opportunities and challenges in Africa. Meanwhile, Strategic Trade Policy is used to describe Indonesia's strategy in advancing the Indonesian Railway Industry in Africa. The results of the study show that Indonesia provides support through a series of policies such as subsidies and diplomacy to obtain projects in Africa. In the process, INKA experienced challenges such as intense competition. However, many opportunities are presented by INKA in terms of the quality factor and the government's persuasive ability
Usefulness and the Risks of Fintech payment for SMEs in Ambon City
The development of information technology makes people today tend to want to carry out their activities practically and quickly. The financial sector is one of the most affected by technological developments. The manifestation of the development of technology and information in the financial sector is the emergence of financial technology (fintech). Fintech can help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) during the current pandemic as a form of business innovation that is expected to increase market share, as well as a step in overcoming problems related to capital financing, preparation of financial reports, payments and marketing, and financial transactions. and other financial literacy. The use of a technology certainly always provides benefits to its users, but there is always a negative side, namely the risks that will accompany it.This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the Usefulness and Risk of Fintech SMEs in Ambon City. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing surveys to 54 SMEs in Ambon City using convenience sampling technique.The test results with SEM-PLS show that perceived trust, perceived risk and perceived usefulness affect the intention to use fintech payments for SMEs actors. Trust is the strongest factor in encouraging the intention to use fintech payments. For perceived ease of use and perceived risk have no effect on attitude and perceived usefulness. attitude has no effect on the intention to use fintech payment. Based on the path value calculation, the most powerful factor influencing the intention to use fintech payments is perceived trust
The Effect of Employment And Marriage on The Level of Community Welfare (Studies in Health Sector) in Indonesia
This study aims to determine the effect of household health level on the level ofwelfare in Indonesia. Health is a human right and one of the elements of welfare that must be realized in accordance with the ideals of the Indonesian nation referred to in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Health is an indicator of welfare for the community, so that every community has the right to obtain health services good and quality. The level of welfare is one of the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The problem that forms the basis of this research is to find out how much influence labor and marriage have on the level of social welfare, especially in the health sector in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative method with a linear regression model using secondary data. To find out the variables that influence the level of household health on the level of welfare in Indonesia, the variables used are marital status and the employment sector. To explain the level of household welfare, a cross-tabulation analysis was carried out. Meanwhile, to examine the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable, linear regression analysis was used. The research results obtained that the level of welfare in the health sector is influenced by employment variables and marriage variables. So it can be concluded that people who have jobs and are married have a much better level of welfare in the health sector. The hope is that all people in Indonesia are expected to obtain quality health facilities so that their level of welfare increases. Characteristics and Determinants Of Precarious Employment In Indonesia
Precarious employment is indicator of non-standard work that describes workers in a vulnerable position to lose their jobs which can lead to poverty and can hinder sustainable development. The rapid growth of precarious employment rate is a serious challenge for a developing country. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect precarious workers in Indonesia. The data used in this study is Sakernas August 2019. The analytical method used in this study is logistic regression, where the independent variables are the demographic and employment characteristics of individuals along with macro conditions of regional employment. The findings of this study are that young workers, male, low-educated, unmarried status, and living in urban areas, tend to be precarious workers. Those who work in the manufacturing industry and less than one year of work experience are more likely to become precarious workers. High unemployment rates and low regional average wages also put individuals at greater risk of becoming precarious workers
Double Difference (DD) Fixed Effects Method in Micro Loans on Household Income in Indonesia
Micro-loans are loans aimed at helping poor or low-income communities to increase their income through increasing productivity so as to reduce poverty. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of micro-loans to the increase in household income per capita in Indonesia and to determine the impact of micro-loans that actually result in an increase in household income per capita in Indonesia. The method used is Double Difference (DD) Fixed Effects with data from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) in 2000 and 2007. The estimation results show that it is proven that the impact of micro loans on income changes is not visible and even looks negative 0.446. There was an increase in total income in 2007 compared to 2000 with a coefficient value of 0.279 using the nominal value. However, in real terms, the coefficient value is not significant, namely negative 0.063
The Effect of Quality of Human Resources on Economic Growth in Malang Regency
Performance as one of the main points in the economic development of a country, this is also known as growth. The expected economic growth must of course be of quality, where there is a growth that occurs and has a sensitivity to unemployment and existing poverty. This study aims to determine the influence of the Quality of Human Resources in Economic Growth in Malang Regency. This study uses secondary data analysis which aims to provide an explanation of the role of the quality of human resources on economic growth in Malang district in the 2011 to 2020 fiscal year. The secondary data consists of (1) economic growth seen from constant price GRDP, (2) population in productive age, (3) the proportion of the population aged 10 years who have a high school education and, (4) Life Rate and Expectations at birth. The data is processed using Multiple Linear Regression. The results in the study show that (1) the proportion of the population of productive age has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth, (2) high school education and above has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, (3) health life expectancy has no significant effect on economic growth. The quality of human resources as measured by using three variables as independent variables has a significant effect on economic growth. The influence of these three variables is very significant both in their position as individual variables (independently) or jointly or simultaneously has a significant effect on economic growth.

The advantage of the fashion industry are contributing to creating a workforce and creating high values of various commodities. The growth of the industrial sector becomes the mainstay of local government to increase Indonesia’s economy as one of the most dominant economic sectors. This article will analyze strategies and policies to develop the fashion industry with SWOT analysis. The research results showed the strengths aspects, like supportive local sources, cultural wealth, and available facilities and infrastructures. The supporting of opportunity aspects is the open chances of domestic and foreign markets and government concern and support. The Effect Of Covid-19 On Textile and Apparel Industries In Indonesia
The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted all sectors of life, including the economy. One of the the sectors most negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is textile and apparel industry. This study investigates Indonesian textile and apparel export volumes, exchange rate of rupiah to us dollar and covid-19 as a dummy variable on the export performance of textile and apparel industry. This study used data from Statistics Indonesia, the World Trade Organization and the Federal Reserve Bank for January 2019 to December 2020 and analyzed by using time series forecasting with multiple linear regression. The export performance of textiles and apparel is proxied by total export of Indonesian textiles and apparel. The result of this study indicates that performance of Indonesian textile and apparel exports during the covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia decreased by 11.04% compared to normal conditions. Instead of being affected by the pandemic in the country, the pandemic that occurred in export destination countries could also reduce the value of Indonesia's textile and apparel exports, with the highest declines occurring in the USA (23.85%). Government can start by reducing the requirements for export destinations to America to recover the value of textile and apparel exports. In addition, the government can also reduce the burden on textile and apparel companies during the pandemic

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of commitment, competence on the satisfaction and performance of the lecturers of the Makassar South Sulawesi Shipping Science Polytechnic.The research approach used in this study is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. From the total population data, the slovin formula was used to obtain a sample of 100 respondents.These results indicate that the path coefficient between the variables, namely job satisfaction has no positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, organizational commitment directly affects lecturer job satisfaction, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, competence directly has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction work and competence did not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Makassar South Sulawesi Shipping Polytechni

The presence of Islamic banks is expected to have an extraordinary impact on the growth of the real sector, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. This study aims to analyze the Perceptions of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of Trusmi Cirebon Batik Products on the Role of Islamic Banking. This research is descriptive qualitative, a case study of Batik Trusmi Cirebon. The findings of this study, that the perception of Batik Trusmi Cirebon's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise's home industry on the role of Islamic banking is still very minimal, and product socialization from Islamic banks are still low, so Batik Trusmi Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are not interested in making loans or financing at banks. Islam. Some of the factors that influence this condition include Islamic banks whose procedures are considered complicated to understand, unfamiliar product terms, uncertainty, and fear of financing in Islamic banks. The mentoring program also really needs to be carried out by Islamic banks.
