    Economic growth is one of the important indicators used to measure the country's development. The participation of Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand in an inter-state or ASEAN cooperation encourages economic integration. The existence of economic integration then encourages the existence of internationaltrade and capital inflows from outside the territory of the country. Investment is one of the factors affecting economic growth. International trade and stock market developmnet is one of the factors of economic growth for developed countries, while ASEAN 3 is criticized as a developing country.The purpose of this research is to know the causal relationship between international trade and economic growth. Ad know the causal relationship between growth of stock market with economic growth in ASEAN 3.This study variables of international trade, stock market growth, and economic growth. The data used are annual panel data from 2000 to 2015. Using Granger causality analysis. The results of the study show abidirectional linkage between international trade and economic growth and there is no mutual relationship between stock market growth and economic growth in ASEAN 3

    ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is focusing on the structure of government insurance for protect the Indonesian labor. To analyse this case, the qualitative and phenomenology approach are used in this research. Data was collected deeply by interviewing the Indonesian labor and the formers Indonesian labor. The result has shown that Indonesian workers were very disappointed in the scheme of government insurance and protection. This problem is not efficiently help Indonesian workers due to economic burden in the workers, as we know that the Indonesian workers are in low economic level. Moreover, the Indonesian labor are not gained many benefits from the government insurance and protectionThe result of this research is then discussed with the policy theory and protection service that should be obtained by Indonesian workers. The changes of the insurance protection scheme of Indonesian workers became an important issue for immediate implementation to improve the quality of protection system

    Labor absorption can be measured by using the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) rate. The greater the value of wages earned is expected to affect the level of labor productivity. In this study aims to determine the effect of Province Minimum Wage on employment absorption of the construction sector. This research is qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative analysis uses prescriptive analysis while quantitative analysis using method PanelLeast Square (PLS). The data used are time series (year 2006-2015) and cross section (6 provinces in Java). The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistic Agency (BPS) and the journal as a supporter. The analysis method used is linear regression analysis method of panel data with Random Effect Model (REM). The results show that, Minimum Wage variable Province has a positive influence with coefficient of 1.7671 and probability of 0.3538 to the absorption of labor in 6 provinces of Java Island in 2006-2015

    Regional Tax Externality and Competition: Empirical Study in Early Decentralization Era of East Java Province

    This paper concerned with the empirical study about tax competition among regions which in a theoretical point of view, tax competition is seen as an economic policy strategy to attract mobile tax bases and firms in order to boost economic development in terms of employment and output growth within the political jurisdiction implementing it. Using a panel of more 400 observed district and municipal inEast Java. It provides empirical evidence on how the local tax as well as the retribution in the neighborhood affect the local tax. The results support the existence of fiscal externalities: an increase in the tax and retribution of local neighbors exerts a positive effect on the local tax which is shown by spatial weighting variable both tax and retribution. Several factors that are hypothesized affect local tax also significant to determine local tax, these factors such as original regional income, and regional domestic product as a proxy of income.

    Spatial analysis of econometric GRDP of industrial sector is one of regional econometrics study in an effort to define economic phenomenon which many developed by economic theories into mathematical form. This study aims to determine whether there is spatial influence between provinces in Indonesia, and how the influence of labor and investment variables to GRDP of industry sector in Indonesia. This study uses panel data from 2011-2015 which averaged and then processed using Geoda software, and the selected model is Spatial Error Model (SEM). The result shows that there is spatial inter-provincial relation with negative direction, which means that if there is an increase of GRDP of industry in study area will decrease GRDP of industry in neighboring region. Labor variable has a significant positive effect on the GRDP of industry, which means that if there is an increase in manpower will increase the GRDP of industry. Investment variable has positive significant positive effect, which means that if there is an increase of investment it will increase the GRDP of industry. In brief, this research can help the government to establish policies on the industrial sector and other economic sectors by considering the spatial aspects

    Many studies have been conducted with the aim at investigating the relationship between the tourism performance and macroeconomic variables. However, only few studies investigated the regional tourism performance based on a specific origin country. This study investigated the relationship between ASEAN-5 international tourism receipts as the dependent variable and macroeconomic variables as the independent variables namely the exchange rates to Australian Dollar, Australia GDP per capita, international tourism expenditure, and transportation costs. The method used to investigate this study is panel data regression model to determine the influence among the explanatory variables to the dependent variable. The results denote that the exchange rates, GDP per capita, and the transportation cost are significant to the tourism receipts. Meanwhile, the international tourism expenditure variable shows an insignificant result to the tourism receipts.

    The increasing integration of the world economy and the large share of foreign ownership of the Government Securities (SBN), then changes in economic policies in developed countries affect the pressure on financial markets in emerging market countries. This study analyzes the effect of macroeconomic factors on 10-year tenor Government's yields issued by the Government of Indonesia for the period 2012-2017. Using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) results in long-term USD/IDR, Oil Price, Credit Default Swap (CDS) are negatively significant, while Brazilian State Bonds (ON Brazil) have a significant positive effect on SBN yield. Based on the analysis of Impulse Response Function (IRF), the shock of yield on ON Brazil, CDS, JIBOR, USD / IDR and US Treasury (UST) responded positively by the yield SBN in each period, but the shock by Oil Price responded negatively by the yield of SBN. The result of Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD) analysis shows that UST variable is the biggest variable contribution influence to Indonesia SBN yield, followed by CDS and ON Brazil

    Unstable inflation is influenced by economic conditions. Macroeconomic conditions in Indonesia make inflation increase or decrease. The policies taken by the government and the central bank determine the size of inflation. Community consumption patterns also play a role in increasing inflation. The purpose of this study is to determine the most effective policy in overcoming inflation, using the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model to estimate the research variables. Impulse response function and variance decomposition that describes how and how the influence of inflation fluctuations. VAR estimates show significant inflation influenced by the money supply and SBI interest rate in the first lag. Meanwhile, taxes and government spending are significant in the second lag. Impulse response analysis shows that inflation response is fastest and strongest by the money supply. While the description of variance decomposition, the variations described inflation most affect the change of inflation itself and second order is the money supply

Untuk menunjang hal tersebut peneliti mengambil lokasi penelitian di Pulau Madura (di seluruh kabupaten di Madura), karena wilayah ini mencerminkan kehidupan rumah tangga Islam, dimana nuansa religi Islam sangat kental.Pemodelan konsumsi dinilai penting karena trend masyarakat/rumah tangga dalam keputusan berkonsumsi akan berpengaruh besar pada perekonomian. Faktor-faktor di luar ekonomi, seperti gaya hidup dan lingkungan sering sekali berpengaruh terhadap keputusan masyarakat untuk berkonsumsi. oleh karena itu penelitian ini diperlukan untuk menemukan kebijakan yang tepat menghadapi kondisi perilaku masyarakat yang sedemikian rupa.Output yang ingin dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah model konsumsi rumah tangga dan kebijakan makro ekonomi daerah. Oleh karena itu metodologi yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan penggunaan regresi sebagai alat statistic serta menggunakan teknik ekplanatori (explanatory research)
