Kraus spent thirteen years in exile in Istanbul, where he was appointed cataloguer at the Archaeological Museum. During his exile he kept in touch with his family in Germany and with colleagues, in particular his former teacher, Benno Landsberger, who had moved to Ankara in 1935. The selection of his voluminous correspondence presented in this work is an important source for the history of both Turkey and Germany during the years 1937 to 1950

No full textTujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara detail tentang bagaimana peranan Sanggar Putra Kemuning dalam melestarikan kesenian Angklung Gubrag di Kabupatean Tangerang yang mempunyai peran penting terhadap eksistensi kesenian Angklung Gubrag di Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi participatif serta wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesenian Angklung Gubrag telah tumbuh menjadi seni pertunjukan. Namun kesenian Angklung Gubrag saat ini menghadapi problematika seperti penuruan permintaan pementasan serta rendahnya pengenalan kesenian ini pada generasi muda. Peran masyarakat pendukung yaitu Sanggar Putra Kemuningt telah berusaha memberikan pendampingan dan pengembangan teknis dalam pertunjukan seperti mengubah fungsi Angklung Gubrag menjadi pertunjukan bersifat modern, regenerasi, serta melakukan kerjasama dengan pemerintah
