ENGLISH: In Sardinia (Italy) archaeology is perceived quite extensively as one of the elements capable of proving a specific identity; also for this reason the archaeological issues have conquered the public eye. The island has peculiar characteristics that make it an interesting case study to investigate the forms and methods of an archeology that includes the participation of local communities

Indagine sul fenomeno della standardizzazione nelle produzioni ceramiche provinciali in epoca Tardo Romana. La forma Hayes 85
The aim of this paper is to determine the degree of standardization within certain Late
Roman pottery productions. This research tried to outline a methodology to determine the
standardisation degree of these samples and to unravel the measurement systems used in the
production process. The morphometric characterization of each fragment, allowed us to create
different groups with a cluster analysis. The principal component analysis provided information
that led us to a deeper understanding of the obtained groups. The coefficient of variation
brought us to the standardisation degree of the productions. Once all these data are known, we
can approach to the possible units of measure that governed the analyzed production systems.
We selected a form well represented in the ceramic contexts identified in the excavations of
the Late Antique port-canal of Classe, the Hayes 85 small bowl. This vessel was considered
a rare form in Hayes’ monumental book. New discoveries of the last ten years show us how
much we still have to understand about the characteristics of Late Roman production, trade
and distribution. With this in mind, we used a statistical method to analyse the main changes
in the profile of this type and its variants.Gobierno del Principado de Asturias. Programa “Severo Ochoa” de ayudas predoctorales (FICYT
Análisis estadísticos para determinar el grado de estandarización y las unidades de medida en la producción cerámica
Through different samples of pottery from European archaeological sites with disparate cultures
and chronologies, this research tries to outline a methodology to determine the standardisation degree of
these samples and to discover the measurement systems used in the production process. The morphometric
characterization of each fragment, allows us to create different groups with clustering analysis. The
principal component analysis provided information that led us to a deeper understanding of the obtained
groups. The coefficient of variation brought us to the standardisation degree of the productions. Once all
these data are known, we can approach the possible units of measure that governed the analysed production
systems.

Comunicación presentada en XXXVI Reunión Científica de la Sociedad Española de Epidemiología y XIII Congresso da Associação Portuguesa de EpidemiologiaStudy of Children Health Related Quality of Life in a sample seized 2047 children aged 8-14 years in Health Survey in Asturias (Spain) in 2017 with Kidscreen-10 proxy reported instrument. Social variables (gender, age, origin, socio-economical status (SES) and place of home) are analyzed.
Rash analysis in Kidscreen reach a global figure of 58.4; boys 58.3 and young girls 58.4. Eurobarometer analysis (0-100 scale) reach global results of 85.3; 85.4 in boys and 85.7 in young girls. Asturian values were improving from 2009 Children Health Survey almost 10% in relative term and 5 basic points in both sex. HRQL values are higher in younger children. Worse HRQL values are showed in lower SES. Worse position in social structure reach 5 basic points. Children in families with parents educated present better values in HRQL, more related to mother educational level.Consejería de Sanidad del Gobierno del Principado de Asturias

Ig-like transcript 2 (ILT2) blockade and lenalidomide restore NK cell function in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
One of the cardinal features of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is its association
with a profound immunosuppression. NK cell function is markedly impaired in CLL
patients, who show a significant dysregulation of the expression of activating and
inhibitory receptors. Here, we analyzed the role of the novel inhibitory receptor Ig-like
transcript 2 (ILT2, also termed LIR-1, LILRB1) in the regulation of NK cells in CLL.
Our results show that ILT2 expression was significantly decreased on leukemic cells
and increased on NK cells of CLL patients, particularly in those with advanced disease
and with bad prognostic features, such as those carrying chromosome del(11q). The
immunomodulatory drug lenalidomide may regulate the expression of ILT2 and its ligands
in CLL since it significantly increased the expression of ILT2 and partially reestablished
the expression of its ligands on leukemic cells. Furthermore, lenalidomide significantly
increased the activation and proliferation of NK cells, which was strongly enhanced by
ILT2 blockade. Combining ILT2 blockade and lenalidomide activated NK cell cytotoxicity
resulting in increased elimination of leukemic cells from CLL patients. Overall, we describe
herein the role of an inhibitory receptor involved in the suppression of NK cell activity in
CLL, which is restored by ILT2 blockade in combination with lenalidomide, suggesting
that it may be an interesting therapeutic strategy to be explored in this disease
Adaptive Active Power Sharing Techniques for DC and AC Voltage Control in a Hybrid DC/AC Microgrid
This paper deals with the AC and DC dynamic voltage control in a hybrid DC/AC Microgrid (MG) with central and distributed Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESSs), applying a power sharing mechanism between the different devices in the MG. The MG is composed by a multiport transformation center and two fixed frequency 3 phase AC Nanogrids (NGs) coupled to a DC bus through 3-phase Power Electronic Converters (PECs). The system pursues to minimize the dependence on the utility grid and the stress in the MGs central BESS, while increasing the power handling capability and the overall system stability during islanding condition. In order to approach the proposed aim, two main concerns are studied in this paper: an adaptive power sharing mechanism between the DC bus and the AC NGs for DC voltage control, and the design and implementation of an AC dynamic local voltage compensator based on Distributed Energy Storage System (DESS). The proposed techniques are validated through simulations and experimental results.PCTI-FICYT
