Get PDFThis background of this research is the establishment of several factories in Butuh Village, Mojosongo Sub-District, Boyolali Regency, which forms an industrial area. In the past, the residents of Butuh Village worked by cultivating land and breeding livestock because the soil in this area is barren and water sources are difficult to find. Because of the establishment of industrial area, the economic activity of this area increases significantly.This research uses descriptive-quantitative research method. Qualitative analysis is used to discover the increase of economic activity and the level of health and education of the surrounding community. Whereas quantitative analysis was conducted by using Paired Samples T test. This test is used to discover the presence of average difference between two paired (corresponding) sample groups. In this case, it is about community’s income and expenditure in the surroundings of industrial area. Whereas regression analysis, specifically Ordinary Least Square(OLS) Logit, is used to discover community’s entrepreneurship desire after the existence of industrial area.The impact of industrial area in Butuh Village, Mojosongo Sub-district can reduce unemployment rate. However,most people in Butuh Village prefer becoming entrepreneurs around the industrial area to factory workers. Additional income earned shifts the way of thinking of people around industrial area in the field of education and health. In addition, there were differences of income and expenditure between the times before and after the existence of industrial area in Butuh Village. Get PDFSocial values that are believed to individuals are often more than just maximizing profit motive alone that ultimately basing all economic interactions carried out in accordance moral owned economy and believed. Geographical location Wonosari village located on the border of two different areas of cultural assimilation implications developed in the community. Tendency blend of Javanese and Islam reflected in the current market in Wonosari Village and patterns of behavior of individuals who sought not in conflict with prevailing social values. This study aims to determine the underlying culture of economic behavior faced with the rationalization of neoclassical economics. The method used to explore and explain the economic decisions through qualitative research methods with the paradigm of phenomenology, given the Wonosari Village believes strongly in the local social and cultural values that influence patterns of behavior in interaction. Results of the study found that there is some value in line with neoclassical economic rationalization, where all things in economic interactions must be for-profit, and there is also contrary to the values of economic rationalization. The conclusion to be drawn is the value of a good adherence to the parents and to the specific role turned out in line with the rationalization of the economy rests on the efficiency to obtain profit maximization. But there is also a value that is not in line with economic rationalization that is in adherence to religious values and local culture, which prefers good relations between people rather than the profit motive.Keywords: rationality economy, cultur

Get PDFSoybean is one of the agricultural commodity Grobogan. Soybean commodity is widely cultivated by farmers because the topography is consistent with the characteristics of the soil in Grobogan. In 2010 soybean production Grobogan is most widely in Central Java. However, Indonesia is still dependent on imported soybeans, especially in times of shortages of soybeans. This is partly also due to soybean production in soybean-producing region is very volatile while soybean demand in the market tends to increase. So, we need a strategy development of soybean farming in Grobogan. The goals to be achieved from the preparation of this study was to analyze the condition of soybean farming in Grobogan and obtain soybean farming development strategy in Grobogan based approach Analysis of Hierarchy Process. Get PDFThis article aims to provide an overview of factors influence the interpretation of the effectiveness of conservation policy implementers Sandalwood (Santalum album L) in the district of South Central Timor (TTS) East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Explanatory research design using survey. Sampling technique is stratified sampling, with a size of 145 respondents. Researchers also determined several key persons from various community groups and also from the head of the forest service, the head of the planning department at Sub forestry service, and chief of the office of South Central Timor regency service plan (Bappeda). While the techniques of data collection techniques include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Influence the interpretation of the effectiveness of the conservation of sandalwood tested using path analysis. Research conclusion is, the interpretation of policy implementers sandalwood is not maximized in enhancing the effectiveness of conservation Sandalwood. The results also show that there are other factors that need attention if the effectiveness of conservation the of Sandalwood to be improved, the factors of community participation and the factor values are valid, both executive officers and the community.Keywords: Interpretation, Implementation, Effectiveness, Conservation, Sandalwood (santalum album L)
