The interview focuses on her early life in Vietnam where she grew up in a war torn country with her parents, her time at the University of the Philippines and the University of Saigon, her experiences in America and going through Camp Pendleton and Fort Chaffee, and her many careers that followed including a rehabilitator, a social worker, and a translator. Although he was a teenager at the time, he remembers many details and how he appreciates his life today.
