TEKANAN EKONOMI, MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN, DAN KESEJAHTERAAN PADA KELUARGA MUDA
Financial problem is a common problem experienced by young families. Economic limitedness is often the source of conflict between husband and wife. This makes the families become depressed. Good financial management is expected to neutralize economic pressure faced by young families so that this won’t disturb the process of interaction that can affect family welfare. This research aimed to analyze objective and subjective economic pressure, financial management, objective and subjective welfare of young families. This research used cross sectional design involving 120 young families with maximum age of husband was 30 years old and also had at least one child under 6 years old. The sampling was done by using stratified nonpropotional random sampling with the age of wives ranging from <20 years old and 20-30 years old at two areas in Cipayung Sub District, Depok City, West Java. Based on regression analysis, it could be found out that financial management affected the subjective family welfare positively. On the other hand, subjective economic pressure influenced the subjective welfare negatively
STRES IBU DALAM MENGASUH ANAK PADA KELUARGA DENGAN ANAK PERTAMA BERUSIA DI BAWAH DUA TAHUN
Parenting practice is often become a source of stress for parents, especially for family who still has young children. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of family characteristic, source of stress, allocation of parenting time, family expenses for children, social support, and home appliances on mother’s stress. The design of the research was cross sectional study and involved 120 mothers who had first children under two years old (60 working mothers and 60 nonworking mothers). The sample selected by purposive sampling; the studysites were Ratujaya and Bojong Pondok Terong Village, Depok City, West Java Province. The analysis data use correlation and multiple linear regresion tests. The study revealed that mother’s parenting stress had negative significant correlation with father’s education, mother’s education, and family expenses for children; but had positive significant correlation with source of stress. The multiple linear regression found that mother’s stress was influenced by father’s education, source of stress, and family expenses for children. Source of stress that was caused by the presence of children influenced significantly increasing of mother’s stress. On the contrary, increasing of father’s education and increasing of family expenses for children caused significantly decreasing of stress among mothers in family with first children under two years old
AYAH PERMISIF MENINGKATKAN RISIKO ANAK UNTUK MEROKOK
Today, the problems of adolescent especially in smoking preference in Indonesia is very alarming. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of fathering on smoking behavior of junior high school students in rural area of Bogor. The design of this research was cross sectional study and used survey method. This study involved 60 students of seventh and eighth grades in two junior high schools in the Pamijahan Sub District, Bogor District, West Java Province that were selected by proportional random sampling. Data collection was conductedby self-administered and analyzed by independent samples t-test, Pearson’s correlation test, Chi-Square test, and logistic regression test. Fathering was measured base on parenting styles and modelling. Parenting style (authoritarian and permissive) correlated significantly with smoking behavior of students, whereas modelling didn’t correlate between male and female student. Age of student, sex of student, and father’s parenting style (authoritative and permissive) correlated significantly with student’s smoking behavior. Smoking behavior of students was influenced by length of father’s education and parenting styles (authoritative and permissive). Increasing of father’s education and using authoritative parenting style can decrease risk of student’s smokingbehavior, while the permissive parenting style of father can increase risk of student’s smoking behavior
NILAI ANAK DAN JUMLAH ANAK YANG DIINGINKAN PASANGAN USIA SUBUR DI WILAYAH PERDESAAN DAN PERKOTAAN
This research aimed to analyze the value of children and preferred number of children among eligible couples in rural and urban areas. Specifically, the research examined the family characteristics, the value and preferred number of children, and the visit of family planning providers between rural and urban areas; and assessed the influence of the independent variables on preferred number of children. The design of the study was cross-sectional; and involeved 60 married women aged 15-49 years old from eligible couples who resided in Sirna Sari Village, Tanjung Sari, Bogor as a representative of rural areas and 60 of those who resided in Gudang Village, Bogor Tengah, Bogor as a representative of urban areas. The results of mean test confirmed that education level of both husband and women, the age of first marriage, the visit of family planning providers, the value of children, value of children in cost dimension, and preferred number of children were different among those who lived in rural and urban areas. Moreover, the results showed that region of residence, the age of first marriage among women, living children, family income per capita, and the visit of family planning providers affected significantly preferred number of children
THE INFLUENCE OF ATTACHMENT AND QUALITY OF PARENTING AND PARENTING ENVIRONMENT ON CHILDREN’S CHARACTER IN RURAL AND URBAN AREAS OF BOGOR
This study aimed to analyze the influence of attachment, environmental quality of parenting (HOME), and parental acceptance rejection -as indicator of quality of parenting- on preschool children’s character in rural and urban areas of Bogor. The population of the study was intact families with the eldest child aged 3-6 years and lives together with the parents. The sample of this research was selected by simple random sampling (n=100,50% live in rural area). The result showed that the average score of attachment in rural areas was higher than inurban areas. There was a significant difference of maternal attachment between participants in rural and urban area. The average score of the environmental quality of parenting in rural was higher than in urban area, while the verage score of parental acceptance-rejection in rural area was lower than in urban area. Average score of children’s character in urban area was higher and significantly different compared to participants in urban area. Regression analysis showed that the child\u27s sex, child’s age, mother’s age, and attachment were significantly associated with the character of the child
KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA DAN KUALITAS LINGKUNGAN PENGASUHAN PADA ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH
The aim of the research was to analyze the influence of child characteristics, family characteristics, and family welfare on quality of home environment on preschool aged children. The samples involved 120 formal and nonformal preschool age children in Sungai Penuh District, Jambi Province that were chosen by stratified random sampling. Data was collected by interview and observation, and also was analyzed by descriptive analysis, correlation test, and multiple linear regression test. Based on poverty line indicator, families were divided into welfare families and nonwelfare families. The results showed that 45,8% families was welfare and 54,2% families was nonwelfare. The quality of home environment was measured by scale of Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (HOME) and was divided into good and less. Parent provided language stimulation, responsivisity, and modeling into good quality, while the availability of learning materials, physical environment; academic stimulation, variety of stimulation, and acceptance into less quality. The quality of home environment was influenced by child’s age and sex, family size, maternal education, and family welfare
KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA PESERTA DAN BUKAN PESERTA PROGRAM GERAKAN PEREMPUAN UNTUK OPTIMALISASI PEKARANGAN (GPOP)
Program of Women’s Movement for Home garden Optimization (GPOP) was one of the government\u27s efforts to encourage families to manage home garden optimally in order to improve the family well-being. This program wasconducted since 2011 by Ministry of Agriculture. The aim of this research was to analyze the well-being of GPOP participant’s family and nonparticipant’s family in Depok City, West Java Province; and to analyze the factors that influenced the well-being. This research involved 60 GPOP participants’ family and 60 nonparticipant’s family that chosen by random sampling. Family well-being measured by using objective indicator based on poverty line according to BPS and subjective indicator based on assessment of wive on various aspects of her family well-being. This study found that even families who did not become participants of GPOP had higher achievement of optimization of the home garden than participants. The results showed that most familyies, both participants and nonparticipants, had been prosperous according to the measurement of two indicator, objective and subjectife assessment. However, the level of the family well-being of participants was higher than nonparticipants. Moreover, family’s well-being was affected by the amount of family assets, but it was not influenced by membership of GPOP
KERENTANAN KONSUMEN DAN PERILAKU PEMBELIAN PRODUK MAKANAN KEMASAN
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of consumer vulnerability on food packaging purchasing behavior. This study used cross sectional. The sample of this study was 80 households in Bogors’ rural and urban area, West Java Province who consume food packaging product. That households was choosen by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by descriptive, and inferential using independent samples t-test, logistic regression, and multiple linear regression.The result showed there was significant differences of households’ purchasing behavior on food packaging product and consumer vulnerability in rural and urban area. Consumer vulnerability was influenced by geographical location, while purchasing behavior was influenced by family expenditure and consumer vulnerability. Based on the results, consumer education is needed on how the settlement of consumer problems and recognition as well as providing information on consumer protection agency
PENGARUH PROGRAM CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA DI SEKITAR TAMBANG
This research aimed to analyze the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program onfamily’s well-being in Batulicin mining area, South Kalimantan. This study applied a combination of cross-sectional andretrospective design. The data were collected in Sarigadung village. Samples in this study were poor families, whom distinguished by the benefits that received from CSR program. Samples were 70 families that selected purposively; half were identified as CSR program receiver families while other difined as nonreceiver family of CSR program. The results showed that more than three-forth of the samples considered CSR programs were very positive. Generally, the family’s income increased after followed CSR program. Number of poor families under the poverty line decreased and the number of satisfied family increased. Total income of receiver families of CSR program was higher than nonreceiver families. This research also found there was no significancedifference between subjective wellbeing of receiver and nonreceiver families of CSR program. Factors that affected objective family wellbeing were family size and the benefits of CSR, while the factors that influence subjective family wellbeing were occapation status of wife and the benefits of CSR
MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN DAN KEPUASAN KEUANGAN ISTRI PADA KELUARGA DENGAN SUAMI ISTRI BEKERJA
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of family characteristics and financial management on wife financial satisfaction. The research design was a cross sectional of 120 wives from dual earner families whose last child aged 0-6 years old. Samples selected by using nonproportional stratified random sampling technique in Bogor District of West and Central Bogor. The location determined by purposive because represented high density of population with low income and education level. The result of this study found that a quarter wives had good management and one of ten had high level of financial satisfaction. Financial management negatively correlated with wife’s age, family size, length of marriage, and positively correlated with wife’s education, per capita family income, and values of the asset. Financial management and wife’s education had positively significant influenced on wife financial satisfaction. Knowledge of financial management is needed to give to families with low income and low education levels to attain financial satisfaction
