    FACEBOOK DAN PORTAL BOLA.COM: KAJIAN ALTMETIRCS Facebook and Portal Bola.com: Altmetrics Review

    AbstractInformation is disseminated to society through the media. Altmetrics is a new study on measurement based on social media utilization in the process of analyzing and informing an article. Most of the studies that use Altmetrics as a measuring tool are studies on scientific publication. This study applied the Altmetrics approach to study the performance of the news website Bola.com. The purpose of this study is to perform an analysis based on Facebook data share to know the popularity of Bola.com website and analyze correlation between Altmetrics Facebook data and pageview of website Bola.com. This study calculated coverage of Facebook for news published on January – May 2016. The result shows that coverage analysis of Facebook in April increased compared toother months. The result also shows that the correlation between Altmetrics Facebook data and pageview is 0.5 that means moderatecorrelation. Most correlations analyzed are positive which means the relationship between content shared on Facebook has a positiverelationship with pageviews produced by Bola.com.Keywords: Altmetrics, Facebook, Social Media, Website Bola.co

    AbstractThe core competence of the librarian is the functional competence that each librarian has in carrying out the library task. Increased professional competence of librarians can be done through training appropriate to the needs of librarians using Training Needs Assessment (TNA). TNA is capable of producing objective, systematic, and sustainable training needs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the core competency level of core librarians, establish training needs and priorities of training, and provide recommendations for training programs. The research was conducted by survey and interview method. A total of 16 librarians atthe Bogor Agricultural Institute because respondents use questionnaires with self-evaluation techniques. The results show there are some actual professional competencies that are under ideal competence. The priority of training programs is the information literacy and internet network for library services. The recommended methods used are on the job training and off the job training. Recommended as a training method to improve the core competence of librarians.Keywords: compentency, higher education, librarian, TNA-T, training need assessment

    AbstractLibrary catalogues are used to search collections and simplify the retrieval process. Currently, most library catalogues have built in the online form known as the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). The OPAC interface is important because it plays as a medium for connecting people with applications or systems. The interface can determine theeffectiveness and efficiency of the software. It analyzed by usability testing. The usability testing has not been conducted on Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) OPAC interface. This research aims to analyze the usability of the SLiMS\u27s OPAC interface at the Library of Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB Library).The research conducted by Checklist and Think Aloud method.     AbstractThe existance of information technology currently to higher education institution had become a necessity to support education processes. Manajemen Information Academic System (SIMAK) IPB is an aplication (software) that organize the whole academic activity processes namely compiling lectures’ schedules, re-registration through online KRS completion and academical data reports. The purpose of this study is to analyze the obstacles, analyzing the quality level of SIMAK IPB and to formulate recomendation of policy strategy to SIMAK IPB service improvement. Based on the result of SERVQUAL Gap analysis discover that performance degree of the services provide by Bogor Agricultural University was bigger than importance degree perceived by users of academic system in Bogor Agricultural University due to the SERVQUAL score valued >-0, which means the services provide by Bogor Agricultural University have already fulfill users’ expectation. The IPA resulted that in quadran A of Cartesian Diagram, based on students’ perception, there were 7 attributes which will become the main priority to be improved. Meanwhile, based on academic staffs’ perception indicated that there were 6 attributes that become the main priorityto be improved. The conclusion of this study users’ satisfaction degree to SIMAK IPB obtained from questionnaire deployment to students: average value of importance degree scored 3.34 (agree) and average value of performance degree scored 3.91 (satisfy). Meanwhile, the result obtained from questionnaire deployment among academic staff, average value of importance degree scored 3.33 (agree) and average value of performance degree scored 3.92 (satisfy) Keyword: academic information system, information system quality analysis, university system information, SIMA

    The fourth industrial revolution is considered as a result of the convergence of a number of technologies in industrial operations. These technologies include, but are not limited to robotics, artificial intelligence, big data, 3D printing, biotechnology and technology integration with the human body. Fourth generation industrial revolution is characterized by the emergence of supercomputers, smart robots, vehicles without drivers, genetic editing and neurotechnology development which allows humans to further optimize brain function. Unlike the previous era where competition was marked by \u27big vs. small\u27, the 4.0 industrial revolution was characterized by \u27fast vs. slow\u27 jargon. Competition in the industrial world no longer depends on the size of the company, but how fast and creative business people see opportunities. This concept does not only occur in the industrial world but also affects the education sector, and the library. The emergence of the trend of e-resources has changed many things in the world of libraries, not only regarding access but also the role of librarians. The convergence of information technology with communication technology causes information and communication technology (ICT) to have an impact on the emergence of the modern library digital landscape. The paradigm shift in the librarian profession is suspected to be the result of the ICT revolution. The speed of change has created a new role for librarians in terms of services and activities, which in turn has an impact on the roles, competencies, skills and knowledge of librarian professionals. The ever-changing information needs of users bring an expansion and new role for librarians to equip themselves with various skills to remain relevant to the digital environment.     Paparan ini membahas tentang pengembangan profesi pustakawan melalui kegiatan penelitian perpusatakaan. Karena dalam pengembangan profesi pustakawan melalui kegiatan penelitian masih jarang dilakukan oleh para pustakawan pada umumnya. Sementara bilamana pengembangan profesi pustakawan dilakukan dengan melalui kegiatan penelitian hal ini dapat mendukung eksistensinya sebagai pustakawan dan lebih diakui oleh masyarakat serta dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri bagi pustakawan. Kajian ini penulisan ini dengan judul “Upaya Pengembangan Profesi Pustakawan Melalui Kegiatan Penelitian Perpustakaan”. Adapun tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui Upaya Pengembangan Profesi Pustakawan melalui kegiatan Penelitian Perpustakaan. Upaya pengembangan profesi pustakawan dalam kegiatan penelitian dapat dilakukan dengan penerapan kegiatan penelitian melalui berbagai aspek bidang ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi di sebuah perpustakaan, hal ini kegiatan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan produk informasi, sistem informasi, perilaku penelusuran informasi dan pemakai informasi itu sendiri.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Profesi, Pustakawan dan Penelitia

    Pedoman teknis dalam pelaksanaan penilaian angka kredit jabatan fungsional pustakawan telah diatur sesuai Peraturan Kepala Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 2015 Tentang Petunjuk Teknis Jabatan Fungsional Pustakawan dan Angka Kreditnya. Pedoman ini dibuat sebagai pedoman teknis untuk membatu Tim Penilai, Pustakawan, dan pihak pihak lainya dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan ketentuan yang ada dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Republik Indonesia Nomor 9 Tahun 2014 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Pustakawan dan Angka Kreditnya. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kegiatan pustakawan diajukan angka kreditnya berdasarkan peraturan yang berlaku, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Sebaran Butir Kegiatan Pustakawan yang diajukan angka kreditnya oleh pustakawan di Perpustaakaan Institut Pertanian Bogor dalam rangka mengajukan kenaikan jabatan dalam kurun waktu 2017/ 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang digunakan diambil dari data pengumpulan Daftar Usul Penetapan Angka Kredit (DUPAK) yang diajukan kepada Tim Penilai Fungsional Pustakawan di Institut Pertanian Bogor dalam kurun waktu Tahun 2017 dan 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Jumalah tenaga fungsional pustakawan di IPB adalah 28 orang sedangkan yang mengajukan angka kredit pada periode 2017 dan 2018 adalah 11 pustakawan. 2) Butir butir kegiatan pustakawan yang diajukan angka kreditnya terdiri dari unsur pendidikan 5,56% , Pengelolaan Perpustakaan 1,34%, Pelayanan Teknis 70,34%, Pelayanan Pemustaka 3,08%, Pengembangan Sistem Kepustakawanan 2,64%, Pengembangan Profesi 6,76% dan Penunjang 10,28%. 3) Berdasarkan sebaran butir kegiatan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa beberapa kegiatan hanya diusulkan/dikerjakan oleh Pustakawan Keahlian, diantaranya adalah kegiatan pengelolaan Perpustakaan, Pengembangan sistem kepustakawanan, pengembangan Profesi hanya diusulkan oleh Pustakawan Keahlian.Kata Kunci : Angka kredit pustakawan, Perpustakaan, Kenaikan pangkat, Kenaikan jabata

    Pemetaan bidang ilmu pada skripsi Fakultas Kehutanan IPB lulusan tahun 2014-2018 berdasarkan Standar Universal Decimal Classification

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat pemetaan bidang ilmu skripsi mahasiswa Fakultas Kehutanan Institut Pertanian Bogor (Fahutan IPB) menggunakan standar Universal Decimal Classification dan The Oxford System of Decimal Classification for Forestry. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah skripsi mahasiswa Fakultas Kehutanan IPB kurun waktu  2014-2018 (lima tahun terakhir). Penelitian mahasiswa (skripsi) yang diolah, dikelompokkan berdasarkan subyek besar sesuai dengan departemen, subyek kelas dan bidang Ilmu di Fakultas Kehutanan . Dalam kajian ini juga dibahas mengenai produktifitas kelulusan sarjana berdasarkan departemen per tahun. Kajian ini juga menampilkan Sepuluh besar topik penelitian yang paling banyak dan paling sedikit dilakukan berdasarkan bidang ilmu di Fakultas Kehutanan  kurun waktu 2014-2018. Hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu menjadi pijakan untuk penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya, baik yang bersifat penelitian pengembangan/lanjutan, maupun penelitian baru yang berbeda dengan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya.   Kata kunci: Pemetaan bidang ilmu, skripsi, Fakultas Kehutanan, penelitian lanjuta

    School librarian must deliver information literacy for students in library. Than librarian create comfortable interior design, so student will enjoy library, and librarian can teach students easily. One of the best interior design of Child-Friendly Library is Room To Read method. The writer has been involved in this program, use best practice method in this research, so this research explain how to creating interior design of Child-Friendly Library in primary school. The result of this research are two steps to change library is like library as Room To Read’s design interior. The steps are (1) must have a room and (2) comfortable, safe, & secure interior design.
