    Studi Pencocokan Plat Kendaraan Dengan Metode Phase Only Correlation

    Salah satu cara pengenalan kendaraan adalah dengan identifikasi plat. Umumnya identifikasi yang dilakukan mengacu pada proses segmentasi tiap karakter dari citra plat. Makalah ini mengajukan suatu metode identifikasi plat yang sederhana tanpa melakukan pengenalan melainkan langsung pada proses pencocokanyang berbasis Phase Only Correlation (POC). POC mencocokkan plat dengan mengorelasikan fasa dari dua citra plat. Fasa diperoleh dengan mengubah citra dari domain spasial menjadi domain frekuensi menggunakan Transformasi Fourier Waktu Diskrit (TFWD). Nilai puncak POC akan tinggi jika citra plat yang dicocokkan adalah citra yang berasal dari plat yang sama. Sebaliknya akan rendah jika yang dicocokkan berasal dari plat yang berbeda. Hasil simulasi menggunakan 20 citra plat menunjukkan bahwa metode POC dapat digunakan dalam pencocokan citra plat

    Measurement process of concrete mold erectness (bekesting) and the floor slope was generally conducted using conventional method applying a plummet (pendulum) for bekesting erectness and waterpass for the floor slope. The drawbacks of this method are it requires a relatively longer processing time and the outcome of the slope measurement is not represented in degrees. The measurement of digital plummet and digital waterpass is easier as the measurement time is relatively short and the tilt angle is represented in degrees. This paper describes a design and implementation of digital plummet and waterpass using Accelero Sensor MMA 7361L based on microcontroller ATmega8. The Accelero sensor MMA 7361L was used to read the tilt axis x, y, and z with analog voltage output that is converted into digital form using the ADC on the microcontroller. Based on the results of tools test for bekesting erectness and floor slope measurement, it was obtained that the average error were 0.51% and 0.49% for x-axis and y-axis respectively

    The Effects of P, I and D Parameters in Automatic Liquid Level Control Using UniTrain Module

    The research discusses some experiments to control the level of liquid inside a tank by using PID controllers which can be divided into four categories. The experiments describe the effect of P, I, and D element. It also discusses the best possible controller, which is a PI controller, for the liquid level tank system. The liquid level controlling is done by adjusting the voltage pump which will further regulate the flow rate of the fluid entering the inlet valve. The liquid that flows through the outlet valve is considered as the disturbance variable to the system. The liquid tank sensor needs to be calibrated prior to the experiments. Calibration can be done manually by using a digital multimeter or by using the computer sofware that is connected directly to the plant system. Set point and PID parameters are determined by the UniTrain and the computer interface. In these experiments, PI controller has the best result with a medium proportional gain (KP = 5) and a small integral gain (TN = 0.2)

    This paper presents MATLAB/Simulink based modelling and simulation of rotor motion of 3-phase variable reluctance stepper motor to show electromechanical conversion process inside the motor when electricity fed to the motor. Stator part of the motor has a pair of salient pole per phase and rotor part has 8 teeth. Stator windings are wound around stator salient poles, while rotor part has no windings. Simulation process is started by the work to derive rotor motion equation based on stepper motor construction data using energy in coupling field method, then the equation is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink program. Simulating by variation of stator current frequency shows rotor part of the stepper motor rotates in 15 degree steps for any variant of stator current frequency

    Empowerment of Small and Medium Industries (IKM) and Value Added of Sabangs Local Souvenir Products

    This community service program aimed to empower Small and Medium Industries (IKMs) in Sabang City by enhancing the value-added potential of local souvenir products. The problems addressed included limited product differentiation, low-quality packaging, and inadequate branding and marketing skills among IKM actors. The program was a collaborative initiative between the Islamic Economics Study Program of Universitas Syiah Kuala and the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs of Sabang City. Using a Service Learning (SL) approach, the activity involved workshops, product development simulations, and mentoring sessions. The results showed significant improvements, including increased participant knowledge, improved packaging quality, and the creation of actionable business plans. Over 80% of participants demonstrated enhanced entrepreneurial capacity, and more than 90% expressed satisfaction with the program. The outcomes suggest that integrated academic-community collaboration can effectively support micro-enterprise development and contribute to local economic resilience and sustainabilit

    Kualitas kakao salah satunya ditentukan oleh kadar air dalam biji kakao. Kadar air dalam biji kakao untuk mempertimbangkan harga jual dari biji kakao. Hal ini dilakukan pada saat proses jual beli biji kakao. Cara mengukur kadar air dalam biji kakao ada beberapa macam yaitu dengan menimbang berat biji kakao lalu dibandingkan dengan jumlahnya, pengeringan semua air pada biji kakao dengan proses oven, dan lain sebagainya. Pada penelitian ini akan dibuat alat ukur kadar air dalam biji kakao dengan metode penusukan wadah atau karung yang berisi biji kakao dengan garpu untuk mengukur resistansinya. Garpu merupakan sensor resistif yang nilainya berubah bergantung dari kadar air biji kakao. Dengan rangkaian inverting amplifier perubahan resistans diubah menjadi tegangan.Tegangan output inverting amplifier dibaca oleh ADC mikrokontroler Atmega-8, yang kemudian diolah dan ditampilkan pada LCD. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan alat ukur yang dibuat mampu mengukur besar kadar air yang terkandung dalam biji kakao pada range pengukuran kadar air dari 2% hingga 20% dengan prosentase kesalahan 0,05%

    Polymer insulators have become an alternative to change the ceramic insulator because it has a better dielectric properties, mass density is lighter and can be made at room temperature vulcanized so it is economically more advantageous. But, the disadvantage is prone to degradation due to environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation, temperature, humidity or rain, and pollution, especially if located in the tropical areas. To overcome these disadvantages, silane materials was added to epoxy resin. This study uses an epoxy resin polymer material made of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) and metaphenylene diamine (MPDA) and silane. Ratio of epoxy resin and silane were 60% and 40% respectively. Dimensions of the test material were 120 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm. The Inclined-Plane Tracking (IPT) method according to standard IEC 587:1984 was used. The NH4Cl and Gresik Industrial and Parangtritis beach contaminants were used in this research to compare it others. The results showed that the test sample with a contact angle 86.18Omore resistant to leakage current and insulation failure, it was indicated by the timing of the discharge in 17.001 s and insulation failure in 17.812 s. When a sample tests more hydrophobic then the leakage current and insulation failure longer to occurs. The degradation phenomenon is most severe damage from a beach Parangtritis contaminant than industrial and NH4Cl contaminants

    Wind energy can be transformed into electrical energy using wind turbine. Based on rotation axis, there are two types of wind turbine, namely turbine with horizontal axis and the one with vertical axis. Turbine with vertical axis has been known with various names that are Darrieus turbine, Savonius turbine and H turbine. This research designed and implemented a prototype of simple Savonius turbine for small scale wind speed. Resistor with resistance of 200 ohm and LED are used as the load. Material of the prototype is alumunium plate, which is light and easy to find. The experiment was conducted at the beach. Permanent magnet synchronous generator was chosen for generating equipment. Voltage resulted by the generator increased as the wind speed increased. The prototype began rotating at wind speed 2.4 m/s. Average efficiency for Y and D connected load are 4.8% and 14.5% respectively

    Penerapan CIELab dan Chaos sebagai Cipher pada Aplikasi Kriptografi Citra Digital

    The development of Internet supports people to transmit information, such as text, images and other media quickly. However, digital images transmitted over the Internet are very vulnerable to attacks, for examples modification and duplication by unauthorized people. Therefore, cryptography as one of method for data security has been developed. This research proposed a combination of color structure CIELab and key randomization by logistic map from chaos as new cipher in digital image cryptographic applications. Cipher is applied to the encryption and decryption process. Implementation of new cipher in cryptographic digital images application was built with Matlab R2010a. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that combination CIELab and chaos can be applied as a new cipher on the encryption and decryption of digital images for cryptographic applications with processing time less than 1 second. Under possible maximum key range on RGB image by 5,2x 1033, the cipher was sufficiently secure against brute-force attack.     Peningkatan Kualitas Citra Digital Menggunakan Metode Super Resolusi Pada Domain Spasial

    Citra merupakan salah satu komponen dari multimedia yang memegang peranan penting karena mengandung informasi dalam bentuk visual. Tetapi tidak semua citra dapat menampilkan informasi secara jelas dan detail seperti halnya citra resolusi rendah. Citra resolusi rendah memiliki kepadatan piksel yang rendah. Untuk itudiperlukan peningkatan kualitas citra menggunakan metode super resolusi agar dihasilkan citra resolusi tinggi dari citra resolusi rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik super resolusi yang melalui tiga tahapan umum yaitu registrasi, interpolasi (bilinear dan bikubik), dan rekonstruksi (smoothing dan denoising). Teknik ini diterapkan pada domain spasial menggunakan citra grayscale resolusi rendah. Teknik super resolusi ini diaplikasikan pada citra satu framedan citra multiframe. Hasil Mean Opinion Score (MOS)menunjukkan bahwa citra multiframe yang melalui prosesregistrasi menghasilkan citra resolusi tinggi yang lebih baikdibandingkan dengan citra satu frame tanpa proses registrasi
