No full textEn este artículo de investigación se describe el acoplamiento cruzado catalizado por cloruro de zinc entre diazocompuestos y vinil diazocompuestos con distintos precursores de carbenos como son los ciclopropenos y eninonas.Zinc‐catalyzed selective cross‐coupling of two carbene sources, such as vinyl diazo compounds and enynones, enabled the synthesis of conjugated dienoate derivatives. This reaction involved the unprecedented coupling of a zinc furyl carbene with vinyl diazo compounds through the γ‐carbon. Alternatively, dienoates were also prepared by a commutative cross‐coupling of zinc vinyl carbenes generated from cyclopropenes and simple diazo compounds
Aspects of the moduli space of instantons on CP^2 and its orbifolds
Get PDFWe study the moduli space of (framed) self-dual instantons on CP 2 . These are described by an ADHM-like construction which allows to compute the Hilbert series of the moduli space. The latter has been found to be blind to certain compact directions. In this paper we probe these, finding them to correspond to a Grassmanian, upon considering appropriate ungaugings. Moreover, the ADHM-like construction can be embedded into a 3d gauge theory with a known gravity dual. Using this, we realize in AdS4/CF T3 (part of) the instanton moduli space providing at the same time further evidence supporting the AdS4/CF T3 duality. Moreover, upon orbifolding, we provide the ADHM-like construction of instantons on CP 2 /Zn as well as compute its Hilbert series. As in the unorbifolded case, these turn out to coincide with those for instantons on C 2 /Zn

Get PDFEnergy efficiency is considered one of the most cost effective ways to enhance security of energy supply and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. According to Europe’s Energy Efficiency Plan, the biggest energy saving potential in the EU lies in the built environment. Spanish authorities, aiming to guarantee the energy supply and also to abide with the environmental restrictions, have established the National Energy Efficiency Action Plans (NEEAP), the 2008-2012 Plan is the first one and the 2011-2020 Plan lends continuity.
In this paper, we will analyze the measurements proposed by the 2008-2012 Plan for home thermal systems (heating and domestic hot water) and home electric systems (light and appliances).
Three scenarios are established to quantify approximately the energy saving for Spanish dewellings in 2012. This paper evaluates, using data currently available, the saving to the year 2012 and compares it with the official Plan results presented. The results show the actual margins of improvement and the success

Referencia BP14-070.XXIV Jornadas de Filología ClásicaLas citas y menciones de pasajes de Homero se cuentan por decenas de miles a lo largo de la literatura griega. Sus versos, fórmulas, expresiones y las situaciones narradas en sus poemas han sido recordadas e interpretadas a través del tiempo de diversas maneras, pudiendo una única expresión significar cosas diferentes en distintos autores. Para mostrar un ejemplo de ello, hemos seguido el rastro de una de las fórmulas más conocidas de Homero, “aladas palabras” o, lo que es lo mismo, “ἔπεα πηερόενηα”. Analizamos los testimonios de la fórmula, dividiéndolos en tres grandes bloques, según ponen de manifiesto su uso poético, sus menciones en los gramáticos, y su empleo como cita en la prosa literaria

Para ello se ha llevado a cabo la elaboración de un perfil inductivo de ambos grupos que comprende tres ámbitos: el ámbito individual (personalidad, actitud sexista y dependencia a sustancias), familiar (clima y funcionamiento de la familia de origen) y social (desorden social, integración y participación comunitaria), partiendo de la distinción establecida por Herrero, Rodríguez, Torres y Fernández (2016) entre agresores en las relaciones de pareja generalistas y especialistas

Glasses detection on real images based on robust alignment

is a challenging problem due to different appearance variations.
Nevertheless, glasses detection on face images has not
been thoroughly investigated. In this paper, an innovative
algorithm for automatic glasses detection based on Robust
Local Binary Pattern and robust alignment is proposed.
Firstly, images are preprocessed and normalized in order to
deal with scale and rotation. Secondly, eye glasses region
is detected considering that the nosepiece of the glasses is
usually placed at the same level as the center of the eyes in
both height and width. Thirdly, Robust Local Binary Pattern
is built to describe the eyes region, and finally, support vector
machine is used to classify the LBP features. This algorithm
can be applied as the first step of a glasses removal algorithm
due to its robustness and speed. The proposed algorithm has
been tested over the Labeled Faces in theWild database showing
a 98.65% recognition rate. Influences of the resolution,
the alignment of the normalized images and the number of
divisions in the LBP operator are also investigated
