The most important milestones of scientific discovery of the
Central Volcanic Region of Spain, located in the province of Ciudad
Real, from 1775 to 1932 are analysed. In particular, it has carried out
a study of the works of its protagonists, especially the cartographic
contributions and the role of institutions in which they collaborated:

Determinación no invasiva del sexo de embriones cultivados "in vitro"

La transferencia de estos embriones a hembras receptoras sirve tanto para acelerar la mejora genética, por medio del nacimiento de más crías de alto mérito genético, como para paliar la infertilidad propia de las vacas de alta producción lechera. Conocimientos de los enfermeros del Hospital del Oriente de Asturias (HOA) en reanimación cardiopulmonar
Get PDFObjetive: To evaluate the level of knowledge of nurses of the Hospital of Eastern Asturias (HOA) on CPR. Knowing the degree of training in CPR.
Methods: Cross-sectional study. Anonymous and voluntary survey of nurses HOA evaluating aspects related to the sociodemographic characteristics, work experience, training and knowledge in CPR, knowledge of the warning system - response in case of cardiac arrest and interest in receiving training.
Results: Participation rate of 77.90%. 71% of professionals have been trained in CPR during their work experience, although only 20% less than two years ago. 76.9% have answered the knowledge of CPR units such as ER-being Uvi mobile, UCA Resuscitation and hospitalization where a higher level of knowledge is detected. . 61.5% showed correct knowledge of warning response system. When knowledge of nurses with work experience and cognition of the action plan are compared, a higher level of the same among staff have work experience 14-20 years and between 13 and 15 years respectively is.Objetivo: Evaluar el nivel de conocimientos del personal de enfermería del Hospital del Oriente de Asturias (HOA) sobre RCP. Conocer el grado de formación en RCP.
Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal. Encuesta anónima y voluntaria dirigida al personal de enfermería del HOA evaluando aspectos relacionados con las características sociodemográficas, experiencia profesional, formación y conocimientos en RCP, conocimiento del sistema aviso–respuesta en caso de parada cardiorrespiratoria e interés en recibir formación.
Resultados: Tasa de participación del 77,90%. El 71% de los profesionales han recibido formación en RCP durante su experiencia laboral, aunque sólo el 20% hace menos de 2 años. El 76,9% han contestado correctamente los conocimientos sobre RCP siendo unidades como Urgencias-Uvi móvil, UCA- Reanimación y hospitalización donde se detecta un mayor nivel de conocimiento. El 61,5% han mostrado conocimiento correcto del sistema de aviso respuesta. Cuando se comparan los conocimientos del personal de enfermería con la experiencia laboral y con la cognición del plan de actuación, se ve un mayor nivel de los mismos entre el personal que tiene una experiencia laboral entre 14-20 años y entre 13 y 15 años respectivamente.
Conclusiones: Necesidad de organizar cursos de formación de RCP en el HOA .El interés de los enfermeros del HOA en recibir formación es muy elevado

Migration, Gender, and Writing: The Aesthetics of Rift in Syria Poletti’s Work
Get PDFAn examination of Syria Poletti’s work and the predominant aesthetics
of rift therein may be approached from an introduction to her life and literary
recognition, valid as a way to initially present the author but also from
a socio-critical perspective in which much of her production has been read,
positing her literature as deeply entangled in her autobiographical experiences
and the Italian and Argentinian contexts and histories. In this respect,
I draw on Susanna Regazzoni’s essay Italia Argentina [sic] una historia compartida:
Syria Poletti [sic] inmigrante italiana, escritora argentina to explain the
position of in-betweenness or navigation between different cultures that
relate both to her migratory experience and, as shall be shown, to her writing
in a very broad sense. I will initially detail, therefore, such biographical
data of importance concerning migration and (related) perceptions as
a (woman) writer, by herself and others, as a frame to subsequently delve
into my contention of a strong aesthetics of rift that formally and thematically
characterize her work. Relying on Walter Gardini’s also significant bicultural
presentation, Syria Poletti: Mujer de dos mundos, for documentation
on her life (where he subsequently presents an autobiographical reading of
her work), I will additionally stress his account of the encounter with the
author which perfectly illustrates her key concerns both in life and writing
for the subject positions of migrants and women

With the celebration of this day commemorating the prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles to HIV / AIDS is sought; different agencies such as UNAIDS and the Ministry of Health (2) have driven programs and activities aimed at prevention and promotion. Of concern is the increase in new cases diagnosed and especially late.
Conclusions.
Therefore, from the health center “Zarracina” professional training sessions are held (in order to update knowledge on HIV / AIDS), training sessions to general population (in order to extend and improve knowledge on HIV / AIDS the population) and the general population information tables as well as the realization of the rapid test in the nursing accompanied by counseling.Introducción.
A propósito del Día Mundial del virus de la inmunodeficencia humana (VIH) el 1 de diciembre, se desarrollan diferentes actividades que buscan formar e informar a población general y profesionales sanitarios sobre este gran problema de salud.

Con la celebración de este día conmemorativo se busca la prevención y la promoción de hábitos de vida saludables frente al VIH/SIDA; diferentes organismos como ONUSIDA o el Ministerio de Sanidad (2) han impulsado programas y actividades dirigidas a su prevención y promoción. Es preocupante el aumento de los nuevos casos diagnosticados y sobre todo tardíamente.

Por ello, desde el centro de salud Zarracina se realizan sesiones formativas a profesionales (con el fin de actualizar el conocimiento sobre el VIH/SIDA), sesiones formativas a población general (con el fin de ampliar y mejorar el conocimiento sobre VIH/SIDA de la población) y mesas informativas a población general, así como la realización de la prueba rápida en la consulta de enfermería acompañada de un consejo individualizad
Measurement and Correction of the Slope Angle of Flat Surfaces Digitized by a Conoscopic Holography System
No full textConoscopic Holography (CH) is a non-contact interferometric technique used in surface digitizing. Sim- ilarly to other laser techniques it is influenced by the optical behaviour of the part surface and the conditions during scanning (geometry, strategy, etc.). In this work, a CH system and a touch probe (TP) integrated in a CMM were used to analyse the CH behaviour for measuring the slope angle of flat sur- faces in inspection tasks. For this purpose, several digitizing tests were performed with both sensors on a square specimen under different slope angles. The tests were performed for two different orientations of the laser spot as well as at three different positions within the sensor depth of field (DOF). The specimen angles determined by each sensor were compared to each other and the difference (slope deviation) was used as an indicator of the CH behaviour. Considering the results, some recommendations were provided for digitizing sloped flat surfaces with the CH sensor and it was also developed a model to predict and compensate the measurement deviations of this sensor with regard to the TP.This work is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and FEDER (DPI2012-30987), the Regional Ministry of Economy and Employment of the Principality of Asturias (Spain) (SV-PA-13-ECOEMP-15) and the Government of the Princi- pality of Asturias through the Programme “Severo Ochoa” 2014 of PhD grants for research and teaching (BP14-049)
