    No full text

This work shows the importance of the use of historical photogrammetric archive, distributed among the various government of our country, not only for photointerpretation. The possibility of using new methods of 3D reconstruction, and the emergence of new software tools that implement these algorithms enable the research teams in different areas of knowledge for conducting a rigorous metric analysis and monitoring the morphological evolution of certain areas of interest.

Located in the South of the Council of Miranda, the malateria of La Abedul was unknown for regional historiography until present, although many reports were already known long time ago. This leper colony changed its location in the late 14th Century to the near village Ambasmestas. In this paper I shall identify the relationship between the two locations, analyze the causes of this change and study its history during the Middle Ages. I examine their origins, their economic basis, their charity policy in the territorial context and their relationship with the monastery of Belmonte and the surrounding inhabitants.Ficy

The Nursing Training in the field of bioethics is now very necessary. In real cases that pose ethical questions can be solved with a deliberative process based on existing laws and respect for the four principles of bioethics. To illustrate the knowledge of the deliberative process we propose four real cases. In the four cases presented deliberates on the right to medical information, confidentiality and privacy in healthcare. Our ultimate g oal is the correction in our work and make the best choice to respect the law and ethical principlesLa formación de Enfermería en el campo de la Bioética es en la actualidad algo muy necesario.

A local dormancy cline is related to the seed maturation environment, population genetic composition and climate

Background and Aims Seed dormancy varies within species in response to climate, both in the long term (through ecotypes or clines) and in the short term (through the influence of the seed maturation environment). Disentangling both processes is crucial to understand plant adaptation to environmental changes. Here we investigated the local patterns of seed dormancy in a narrow endemic species, Centaurium somedanum, to determine the influence of the seed maturation environment, population genetic composition and climate. Methods We performed laboratory germination experiments to measure dormancy in (1) seeds collected from different wild populations along a local altitudinal gradient and (2) seeds of a subsequent generation produced in a common garden. We characterized the genetic composition of the original populations using Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat PCR and PCoA, and analyzed its correlation to the dormancy patterns of both generations. We also modelled the effect of the local climate on dormancy. Key Results We found an altitudinal dormancy cline in the wild populations, which was maintained by the plants grown in the common garden. However, seeds from the common garden responded better to stratification, and their release from dormancy was more intense. The patterns of dormancy variation were correlated to genetic composition; while lower temperature and summer precipitation at the population sites predicted higher dormancy in the seeds of both generations. Conclusions The dormancy cline in C. somedanum is related to a local climatic gradient and also corresponds with genetic differentiation among populations. This cline is further affected by the weather conditions during seed maturation, which influence the receptiveness to dormancy-breaking factors. These results show that dormancy is influenced both by long and short term climatic variation. Such processes at such a reduced spatial scale highlight the potential of plants to adapt to fast environmental changes

The objective of this collaborative research project internationally and in Spain, in particular, is to implement a national registry of rare diseases (RD) combining methodologies designs and population-based records with patients. It develops from the contribution of the Ministries of Health of the Autonomous Communities, the Instituto de Salud Carlos III-Research Institute for Rare Diseases (ISCIII-IIER) and partners from diverse backgrounds. The overall objective is intended to be improving the prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and quality of life of patients with rare diseases and their families from information of high validity and standardized procedures. The results of this work, partial because it is an ongoing project (2012-2014), show that during the year 2012 has been established in a timely manner agreed working mechanism. This mechanism, which is in line with international guidelines for research on rare diseases, has allowed to establish the content and structure of information systems and the flow of it in time and within different working nodes. In addition, they have already issued specific reports record systems and patient populations of rare diseases and the different sources of information. Currently working on a pilot project to collect information that assesses whether the availability in the sources, the designed structure and information flows are consistent with established objectives. After evaluating the pilot project decisions will be final and will begin work permanent collection of information. Asturias has worked collecting the information specified in the protocol of the project and already has information that will have a picture of the situation of rare diseases in the last quarter of 2013.Proyecto FIS/FICYT: El presente trabajo se realiza con una ayuda para Proyectos de Investigación del FIS, expediente IR11/RDR-XX para 2012-201
