Hubungan Pengaturan Emosi Positif dengan Kecemasan Menjelang Menopause pada Perempuan Pekerja
ABSTRACTThis research is aimed at explaining the relationship between positive emotion management and pre-menopause anxiety experienced by female workers. The subjects of this research are female workers who are in pre-menopause age range in Kalirejo Village, Salaman, Magelang, Central Java. The data of this research were gained by using positive emotion management scale and premenopause anxiety scale. The technique analysis used in this research was the product moment correlation. The analysis using correlation analysis technique resulted in R equivalent to -0,305, R2 equivalent to 0.093 with p = 0.003. Those results show that there is indeed a significant relationship between positive emotion management and female workers’ pre-menopause anxiety in Kalirejo village, Salaman, Magelang, Central Java. R2 equivalent to 0.093 shows that positive emotion management has a significance as much as 9,3% to female workers’ pre-menopause anxiety.Key words : female worker, pre-menopause anxiety, positive emotion management
Malaysian Lesbian’s Stress Level
This research focuses on Pengkid. It is a term or a slang used in Malaysia to refer to lesbians in the butch category. They are a group of individuals who are having non-traditional sexual orientation, in which they are sexually attracted to biologically-defined women. This research was conducted in order to focus on their sources and level of stress and a semi-structured interview schedule was administered with 25 pengkid participants from Pulau Pinang, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Participants were recruited through various methods including from Malaysian Pengkid official website and snowballing technique.Various challenges related to day-to-day life were reported by participants. However, financial problems, conflicts in work place or study place and conflictswith girlfriends have been identified as their main sources of stress. Since they are supporting families, girlfriends and themselves, they face financial problems almost every month. At the same time, having more expenses compared to their income also caused this problem. Findings show that Malaysian Pengkid does not face any kind of problems or stress because of their identity. Malaysia’s Pengkid seems to face the same problem that is faced by people with traditional sexual orientation and. They also do not have critical stress level and it is still manageable
Pengaruh Cognitif Behavior Therapy dalam Memperkuat Empati pada Remaja dengan Perilaku Agresif
ABSTRACTAggression committed by juveniles with school background due to poorly developed conscience in teenagers , lack of impulse control , lack of sensitivity to moral values . One of the factors that can lead to aggressive behavior is aggressive models. Through CBT ( cognitive Behavior Therapy ) presented a model that negates the emergence of aggressive behavior and emphasize empathy so that individuals can replicate the model , individuals can capture the inspiration of the behavior which negates the aggression and may be granted when it appears strengthening empathy. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) to strengthen empathy in adolescents with aggressive behavior. Results of data analysis showed that there are significant differences in the level of aggression between 99 % rate before getting treatment CBT (cognitive Behavior Therapy ) after getting treatment with CBT . After getting the CBT treatment aggressiveness level lower than before getting CBT treatment . Different coefficient of 4.093 with a p t of 0.001 ( p < 0,05 ). There is a significant difference in the level of empathy between the 99 % level before getting treatment after getting CBT with CBT treatment . After getting treatment CBT empathy levels higher than before getting the CBT treatment . Different coefficient of -3.916 with a p t of 0.002 ( p < 0,05 ) . The magnitude of the effect of CBT on aggressive behavior seen in the effective contribution of 23.7 % . The magnitude of the effect of CBT on empathy appears on the effective contribution of 30.8 % . Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja, Kecerdasan Emosi dan Efetivitas Tim Kerja dengan Mediator Komitmen Organisasi
ABSTRACTThis research identifies the extent of organizational commitment (OC) as mediator variable of quality of work life (QWL), emotional intelligence (EI) and organizational commitment to effective teamwork (ETW) and seeks variables which contribute most to the effective teamwork in the equation models in Nurhidayah Hospital Bantul Yogyakarta. As many as 127 questionnaires were distributed to selected subjects. Data were analyzed by the method of Structural Equation Modeling or SEM using Amos program. The results showed that there is relationship between quality of working life (QWL) and organizational commitment (OC). Quality of working life (QWL) gives 30.5%contribution on organizational commitment (OC). There is relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and organizational commitment (OC), emotional intelligence (EI) give 12.5% contribution on organizational commitment (OC). There isi relationship between organizational commitments (OC) to effective teamwork (ETW), organizational commitment (OC) gives 97.8% on effective teamwork (ETW). The result shows that organizational commitment (OC) as a mediator variable is able to provide a positive influence on the relationship between the two variables. The result also shows that thare are no releationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and effective teamwork (ETW) (CR:1.96) and relationship between quality of worklife (QWL) and effective teamwork (ETW) CR:1.96).Keywords: effective teamswork, emotional intelligence, quality of work life, organizational commitment
Penyusunan Penilaian Kinerja Berbasis Kompetensi di Rumah Sakit XXX
Penelitian ini membahas tentang penyusunan Penilaian kinerja berbasis kompetensi di Rumah Sakit XXX. Selama ini karyawan tidak puas terhadap penilaian kinerja yang digunakan dikarenakan penilaian kinerja dinilai kurang obyektif, tidak ada umpan balik untuk karyawan selain itu penilaian kinerja yang digunakan saat ini sudah tidak sesuai lagi dengan kebutuhan kompetensi perusahaan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan obyektifitas alat penilaian kinerja, dan memaksimalkan tujuan penilaian kinerja maka dirancang penilaian kinerja berbasis kompetensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data wawancara. Penilaian Kinerja Berbasis Kompetensi diujicobakan pada jabatan kasir bagian keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek relevansi, sensitivitas, reliabilitas dan penerimaan penilaian kinerja berbasis kompetensi lebih baik dibandingan penilaian kinerja yang digunakan selama ini
Manajemen Stres untuk Menurunkan Kecemasan Menghadapi Ujian Nasional Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
ABSTRACTStudents experienced anxiety and fear when facing the National Exam because they think it is pressed. In addition, it is caused by the lack of the resources to deal with the final exam. The research aim was tested the stress management training based on the procedure of Stress inoculation training (SIT) in the junior high school students who experienced anxiety facing the final exam.The research hypothesis was that stress management training could reduce the anxiety facing the final exam at the Junior High School students. The scale questionaire used to measure the anxiety. The research method was quasi-experiment. The results of analysis with the mixed ANAVA techniqueshowed that the stress management training by the SIT procedure could significantly decreased anxiety when facing the final exam in junior high school students in Kupang (F = 17.192, p <0.01), with the effective contribution about 86.7%. Junior high school students who had received the stress management training decreased level of anxiety to face the final exam more significantly than those who did not received the stress management training.Key word: adolescence, anxiety, stress management
Peran Core Self Evaluation dalam Memprediksi Persipan Pensiun
ABSTRACTThis study examines the role of core self evaluation on predicting retirement preparation of pre retirement employees. This research involves 50 pre retirement employee of the exploration section of “ X Company†who get pre retirement program on 2013. Retirement preparation scale is used to measure effort of the employee’s retirement planning and core self evaluation is measured through core evaluation scale. Results show that there is no significant effect of core self evaluation on retirement preparation (F = 0.581, p = 0.679, p > 0.05). Based on data analysis it indicated that core self evaluation does not have effect on retirement preparation. It’s mean that core self evaluation could not predict employee’s retirement preparation. Thera are non-motivational and cultural factors that affect employees’ intention on retirement preparation.Keywords: core self evaluation, emotional stability, self esteem, self efficacy, locus of control, retirement preparatio
Kecenderungan Pola Asuh Permisif dan Kepercayaan Diri dengan Motivasi Berprestasi pada Siswa
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai hubungan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP sebanyak 61 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Motivasi Berprestasi, Skala Persepsi Kecenderungan Pola Asuh Permisif dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri. Analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik analisis uji-t yaitu regresi ganda dan korelasi parsial. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian yaitu adanya hubungan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi diterima dengan nilai R = 0,588, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Sumbangan yang diberikan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi sebanyak 34,5%. Hasil korelasi parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dengan motivasi berprestasi dan terdapat hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi
Pengaruh Implementasi Program “Temanku Sahabatku” dalam Meningkatkan Perilaku Prososial Anak Pra Sekolah
Perilaku prososial diketahui memiliki kontribusi terhadap prediksi prestasi akademik dan kemampuan sosial di awal masa anak-anak. Perilaku prososial merupakan tindakan sukarela dengan niat untuk membantu orang lain yang dapat diekspresikan dalam bentuk perilaku membantu, mendukung, kasih sayang fisik, ataupun berbagi. Program “Temanku Sahabatku” merupakan adaptasi sebuah tema besar dari buku The Anti Bullying and Teasing Program for Preschool karya Sprung, dkk (2005), yaitu tema Persahabatan. Program “Temanku Sahabatku” merupakan program yang dirancang sebagai upaya pencegahan terhadap perilaku bullying dengan meningkatkan perilaku prososial anak. Guru dan siswa di dua Taman Kanak-kanak di Sleman, Yogyakarta akan dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan desain eksperimen kuasi untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test. Guru diminta untuk mengimplementasikan program yang telah dilatihkan sebelumnya ke dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas sebagai perlakuan pada siswa tahun pertama di TK kelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perilaku prososial anak prasekolah pada kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan implementasi program “Temanku Sahabatku” oleh guru meningkat secara signifikan daripada perilaku prososial anak prasekolah di kelompok kontrol (F=26,506; MD= -2,200; p<0,05)
Komitmen Organisasi Karyawan Outsourcing Kabupaten Kudus Ditinjau dari Stress Kerja
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris apakah ada hubungan antara stress kerja dengan komitmen organisasipada karyawan outsourcing di kabupaten Kudus.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan outsourcing di Kabupaten Kudus dengan sampel sebanyak 200 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala stress kerja dan skala komitmen organisasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara stress kerja dengan komitmen organisasidengan koefisien korelasi sebesar r:-0,648 dengan p: 0,000 (p<0,01) ini. Semakin tinggi stress kerja maka semakin rendah komitmen organisasi karyawan outsourcing dan sebaliknya semakin rendah stress kerja maka semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi karyawan outsourcing
