Архитектура консульств инженера Юлия Жданова
Get PDFThe article is dedicated to the work of the Russian engineer in China, Yuliy Petrovich Zhdanov. The article describes the objects in which consular offices were located, namely: the Dutch consulate in the Chistyakov mansion, the Japanese consulate in the building of the Harbin branch of the South Manchurian Railway, as well as the Portuguese consulate in the Skidelsky mansion and the residence of the Consul General of Japan, which, according to some data, belonged to his authorship. An analysis of the space planning and stylistic features of these buildings is presented. A short excursus to the history of the development of consular offices in Manchuria is given. The stages of Russia's presence in the Far East and its influence are traced. The results obtained are the basis for further research into the work of Russian architects in the cities of Manchuria (Northeast China) during the first half of the 20th century.Статья посвящена творчеству русского инженера Ю.П. Жданова в Харбине. Выделены объекты, в которых располагались консульские учреждения: нидерландское консульство в особняке Чистякова, консульство Японии в здании Харбинского отделения Южно-Маньчжурской железной дороги и две постройки, по некоторым данным, его авторства – консульство Португалии в особняке Скидельского и резиденция генерального консула Японии. Представлен анализ объемно планировочных и стилистических особенностей этих зданий. Приводится краткий экскурс в историю развития консульских учреждений в Маньчжурии. Прослеживаются этапы присутствия России на Дальнем Востоке и ее влияние. Полученные результаты являются основой для дальнейшего исследования творчества русских архитекторов в городах Маньчжурии (Северо-Восточный Китай) в период первой половины XX века

After the release of The Creative City by Charles Landry, the phrase became a trendy meme and a beacon for urban planners. It is believed that the opportunity for creativity can attract the most valuable, educated, efficient and productive residents to the city. How reasonable is this attitude to creativity? How realistic are the hopes for a ‘creative class’ (R. Florida) in the development of cities? Or is it a poetic myth, a dream of some ‘blue cities’ from an old song? The materials in this section reflect on the relationship between poetry and urban planning, the search for happiness in the nostalgic memories, in the transformation of old industrial buildings into cultural centers, and vice versa, in the transformation of old districts into centers of new technologies filled with the romance of tomorrow. An article on the dreamlike substance of such a familiar element as the staircase concludes this section.Творческое самовыражение является одной из высших разновидностей счастья. По крайней мере, так утверждает множество авторитетных источников. После выхода книги Чарльза Лэндри «Креативный город» это словосочетание стало модным мемом и маяком для градостроителей. Считается, что возможность для творчества обладает абсолютной привлекательностью и притягивает в город самых ценных, образованных, эффективных и продуктивных жителей.Насколько оправдано такое отношение к творчеству? Насколько реалистичны надежды на «креативный класс» (Р. Флорида) в развитии городов? Или же перед нами поэтический миф, мечта о неких «голубых городах» из старой песни? No full textThe article presents the biographical information about the creative work in Transbaikalia of the architect V. I. Kulikovsky and his wife, sculptor E. S. Kulikovskaya, co-authors of the famous Butins Palace in Nerchinsk, popularly called “Daurian Versailles”. The author analyzes stylistic, compositional and planning features of different types of buildings in the palace complex, as well as in Nerchinsk and at the Butins’ dacha in Nizhniy Stan. The author also describes the architect Lavrenty Ivanov’s works, who was the author of the Gostiny Dvor in Nerchinsk.Рассмотрены биографические сведения о творческой деятельности в Забайкалье архитектора В. И. Куликовского и его супруги скульптора Э. С. Куликовской, соавторов знаменитого дворца Бутиных в Нерчинске, получившего в народе название «Даурский Версаль». Проведен анализ стилистических, композиционных и планировочных особенностей построек разных типов в самом дворцовом комплексе, а также в городе Нерчинске и на даче Бутиных в Нижнем Стане. Get PDFAs an expert at the competition for the development of an architectural and planning renovation concept for the city of Norilsk up to 2035, the ADM design studio was invited by the Norilsk Development Agency to work as an expert in the elaboration of the city’s development programmes. The work enabled the team to understand the range of problems and the territorial and natural-climatic uniqueness of the place. After the announcement of the competition, ADM and Grazhdanproekt Institute decided to participate themselves, as they had practical experience in designing for the North. The author was interested in how the practical design material could be used to structurize and test a number of already existing concepts in the theme defining the principles of co-organisation of the city in close co-operation with natural-climatic and landscape features of the place.Будучи участником международного конкурса на создание «Архитектурно-планировочной концепции реновации Норильска до 2035 года», красноярский консорциум, в который вошла наша мастерская «АДМ», а также институт «Гражданпроект» (лидер), «Водоканалпроект», «ПромстройНИИпроект» и СФУ, стал одним из трех финалистов. Работа над конкурсом позволила коллективу глубже вникнуть в территориальную проблематику и природную уникальность этого места. В то же время мне, как одному из авторов, было интересно на практическом проектном материале отструктурировать и апробировать ряд сформировавшихся за годы архитектурно-проектной деятельности мировоззренческих принципов, определяющих организацию города в тесном взаимодействии с природно-климатическими и ландшафтными особенностями. А в совместной работе с градостроителем Татьяной Павловной Лисиенко, удалось, как нам кажется, найти определенные проектные решения, соответствующие задачам конкурса по развитию северных территорий региона

Get PDFThe article is devoted to three directions of oriental architecture – cult, palace and park. Its main part concerns the architecture of the Budapest synagogues. As an example of Russian orientalism, the phenomenon of Black Sea palaces of the highest St. Petersburg aristocracy is given. The Hungarian masterpiece of park oriental architecture, the elephant house in the zoo of Budapest, is analyzed. It is concluded that Orientalism had influence on the formation of national styles and fostered the development of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Modernism.В статье рассказывается о трех направлениях ориентальной архитектуры – культовом, дворцовом и парковом. Основной блок посвящен архитектуре будапештских синагог. В качестве примера русского ориентализма приводится феномен черноморских дворцов петербургской аристократии. Анализируется венгерский шедевр парковой ориентальной архитектуры – слоновник в зоосаде Будапешта. Делается вывод о том, что ориентализм повлиял на формирование национальных стилей и способствовал развитию ар-нуво, ар-деко и модернизма
