Application of Planting Media and AB Mix Application Intervals on The Growth and Production of Cherry Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum Var. Cerasiforme) Using the Wick System Hidroponic
Cherry tomatoes are a horticultural plant that is quite popular in Indonesia. This study was carried out to determine the effect of the growing medium, the effect of the AB Mix application interval and the effect of the interaction between the combination of these treatments on the growth and production of cherry tomato hydroponically of the wick system. This research was carried out from April to August 2025 at the Experimental Garden Gauze House, Faculty of Agriculture, Samudra University. The research used a Complete Random Design (CRD) Factorial pattern with 2 factors, namely planting media (M) which consists of 3 levels, namely M1 = Cocopeat, M2 = Rockwool, and M3 = Hydroton, as well as the AB Mix (I) administration interval factor which consists of 4 levels, namely I1 = 1 day, I2 = 2 days, I3 = 3 days, and I4 = 4 days. The results showed that the growing medium had a very marked effect on several observational parameters, the best results being obtained in the cocopeat growing medium (M1). AB Mix administration interval had a marked effect on several observational parameters, the best results being obtained at the 2 day interval treatment (I2)
INTEGRATION OF SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT WITH ECOSYSTEM SERVICES PERFORMANCE IN CLIMATE CHANGE RESILIENCE IN NORTH MOROWALI
Climate change is a major challenge that affects ecosystem resilience and human life, including in Indonesia, especially in North Morowali Regency which has extensive tropical forests. This study aims to assess the contribution of ecosystem services in climate regulation in the region and analyze how climate change interacts with ecosystem performance. The methodology used involves assessing ecosystem services for climate regulation and changes in forest land cover. The study\u27s results indicated that forest dominance significantly aided climate regulation, with conservation forest areas contributing 21.51%, protected forests 20.68%, and production forests 19.52%, particularly in carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation. In contrast, non-forest areas showed a lower contribution. Regional resilience to climate change, it is recommended that the management of conservation and protected forests be strengthened, by considering the potential of ecosystem services they have in mitigating and adapting to climate change.
 
THE FORMULATION OF “ZILLICUM TEA” FROM GINGER (Zingiber officinale var. amarum), STAR ANISE (Illicium verum), AND LEMONGRASS (Cymbopogon citratus) TOWARD ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITIES AND HEDONIC ACCEPTABILITY
Zillicum tea is an innovations herbal tea product formulated from combination of three plants: ginger, lemongrass, and star anise. These three plants were selected for their functional value, particularly their antioxidant compounds. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of antioxidant activity and hedonic acceptability properties of the three combinations of Zillicum tea formulation, and to identify the best of formulation based on these parameters. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments(the combination of ginger, star anise, and lemongrass), specifically F1, F2, F3, F4 with five replications. Antioxidant activity and organoleptic properties are the primary parameters, while moisture content and total plate count test are supporting parameters. The result F4 formulations exhibited antioxidant activity of 54.41% inhibition (p < 0.05), which was significantly higher than that of F1 (33.20%), F2 (39.86%), and F3 (43.00%). Furthermore, the organoleptic taste score of F4 (5.28 ± 1.27) was also significantly greater comparased to the other formulations
COLLABORATION OF STAKEHOLDERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MICRO ENTERPRISES FOR SUSTAINABLE FOOD SECURITY IN TELUK BINTUNI REGENCY
The establishment of micro-enterprises for Independent Workers (TKM) aimed at enhancing sustainable food security in Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua, is a crucial initiative to bolster local food production sustainably. This study investigates the challenges of TKM and the cooperation among stakeholders in the regional employment expansion initiative. Qualitative research was employed, encompassing field observation, interviews with micro-entrepreneurs and stakeholders, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with local populations. The findings indicate that the Independent Workers (TKM) initiative significantly enhances local economic development by empowering micro-enterprises in food production and processing. Challenges faced by TKM, specifically restricted financial access, market entry, corporate governance, and digital marketing, continue to pose substantial barriers. Cooperation among government agencies, commercial firms, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations is crucial for addressing these challenges. This study underscores the necessity for a unified strategy to enhance TKM development, fostering sustainable food systems and economic resilience. This collaborative methodology seeks to produce insights for attaining the sustainable development goals (SDGs) associated with poverty alleviation and hunger reduction in the region
ANALYSIS OF INBOUND AND OUTBOUND GOODS FLOW IN THE FROZEN FOOD WAREHOUSE OF UD. AL BARKAH, PALU CITY
This research aims to analyze the inbound and outbound flow processes at the frozen food warehouse of UD. Al Barkah in Palu City, Central Sulawesi. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research was conducted in January 2025 with data collection techniques including direct observation, in-depth interviews with 12 key informants, and document analysis. The results show several constraints in UD. Al Barkah\u27s warehouse management includes a time-consuming goods receiving process due to the continued use of physical checking and manual documentation, inadequate implementation of information technology in managing goods movement, and an unintegrated stock management system. This research recommends several improvements, including standardization of operational procedures, implementation of warehouse management information systems, optimization of warehouse layout, enhancement of quality monitoring systems, and development of human resource competencies. Implementing these recommendations is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce the risk of errors in goods management, and enhance the quality of UD. DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY-ORIENTED MICRO ENTERPRISES IN THE LIKUPANG NATIONAL SUPER PRIORITY ZONE
The area-based workforce development initiative is a premier program of the Ministry of Manpower aimed at generating new employment opportunities through independent entrepreneurship across several regions, including the Likupang National Super Priority Area. This study aimed to assess the effects of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) program\u27s implementation in the Likupang national super priority area. Data gathering for the research was conducted via observation, questionnaires, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews with company participants who had received support and coaching from the Ministry of Manpower. The study\u27s results indicated that not all program enrollees were able to develop. The economic impact of certain MSMEs developments was shown in the rise in sales turnover, enhanced capacities, and the strengthening of market networks. The support of ecosystems and the facilitation of local government would further expedite the development of MSMEs in the Likupang national super priority region. MSMEs initiatives in horticulture, plastic waste processing, and agricultural waste processing demonstrate its commitment to sustainability in the Likupang national super priority region
THE ROLE OF SOCIAL SUPPORT IN ADDRESSING EMPLOYMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGES: STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE LOCAL ECONOMIC ECOSYSTEM IN MANDALIKA
Mandalika, recognized as one of Indonesia\u27s super-priority tourism attractions, offers substantial prospects for local economic advancement. Nonetheless, obstacles in employment and entrepreneurship endure due to skill discrepancies, restricted access to resources, and inadequate social support systems. This study assess: (i) ascertain the function of social support in mitigating employment and entrepreneurial obstacles and (ii) investigate solutions for creating a sustainable local economic ecosystem. Data were obtained utilizing a mixed-method approach, encompassing surveys, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The results demonstrate that social support is essential in alleviating employment obstacles, especially in enhancing access to training, mentorship, and financial resources. The study underscores a deficiency in stakeholder integration, as local governments, business organizations, and university institutions exhibit insufficient coordination in promoting sustainable entrepreneurship. The study delineates primary obstacles, such as the lack of organized business models, insufficient marketing acumen, and poor financial oversight inside micro and small firms. The report offers a multi-stakeholder entrepreneurship strategy that focuses on accessibility, capacity building, and ongoing mentorship to address these concerns. These initiatives, along with enhanced policy frameworks and digital adaption, are crucial for promoting economic resilience. The findings highlight the necessity for a holistic support framework that amalgamates community involvement, regulatory modifications, and sustainable business methodologies to guarantee equitable economic advancement in Mandalika. Future study should concentrate on assessing the enduring effects of social support systems on improving economic sustainability and resilience
FACTORS AFFECTING COCOA PRODUCTION IN BOBO VILLAGE, PALOLO DISTRICT, SIGI REGENCY
The plantation commodity that is currently being intensively cultivated again by the people of Central Sulawesi is cocoa plants because the price continues to soar and its trade cannot be separated from government policies such as subsidies and Government Assistance Programs.. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of production factors, the number of productive plants, labor, use of NPK fertilizer, labor input, age of plants, farming experience and government assistance on cocoa production in Bobo Village, and to determine the extent of the success rate of increasing cocoa production through government assistance programs in Bobo Village.. Respondents in this study amounted to 60 cocoa farmers who received assistance and those who did not receive assistance, where in determining the respondents was done by census method and Simple Random Sampling Method and to achieve the objectives of this study the analysis method used was Cobb-Douglass function analysis. The results of this study show that based on the t-test and F-test There is a significant relationship between all independent variables and cocoa production, and there is a difference in cocoa production between farmers receiving assistance and farmers who do not receive government assistance
SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT MODEL OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES BASED ON THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP ECOSYSTEM IN THE MIMIKA REGION, CENTRAL PAPUA
This study aims to build a sustainability model for independent workforce in the Mimika Region, grounded in the identification of resources, program impacts, problems encountered, and the possibility for independent workforce development within an entrepreneurial ecosystem. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing a case study approach and descriptive analysis. The data used in this study were obtained through several data collection techniques, namely: questionnaires, in-depth interviews and FGDs. The collected data were evaluated through descriptive methods to ascertain the parameters that affect the sustainability of independent workforce. The study\u27s results indicate that the sustainability of independent workforce can be attained through an entrepreneurial environment, facilitated by collaboration with universities and innovation incubation centers. The entrepreneurial ecosystem fosters economic growth and community welfare by promoting innovation, collaboration, and resource sharing among diverse stakeholders. This ecosystem fosters an atmosphere conducive to entrepreneurial endeavors, hence resulting in job creation and sustainable enhancement of the quality of life in the Mimika Region
STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPING DUYU BANGBIT VINE GARDEN AGROTOURISM IN DUYU VILLAGE, TATANGA DISTRICT, PALU CITY
Central Sulawesi, especially Palu City, is one of the areas with potential for grape development. One of the grape growing areas that is currently being used as an agrotourism destination is in Duyu Village, Tatanga District, Palu City, called Kebun Anggur Duyu Bangkit. Kebun Anggur Duyu Bangkit is one of the agrotourism areas in Palu City, but the availability of grapes is still limited, and the area of ??land is an obstacle in the development of agrotourism, so it does not support the provision of agrotourism, resulting in agrotourism management not being optimal. This study aims to determine the potential and formulate a strategy for developing Kebun Anggur Duyu Bangkit Agrotourism. The analysis used is SWOT analysis. The results of the IFAS and EFAS matrix analysis are the strength factor value (1.87), weakness factor (2.60), opportunity factor (2.41) and threat factor (1.52) so that the position of the development strategy using the SWOT diagram is in quadrant III, namely supporting the Turn Around (WO) strategy to minimize weaknesses to take advantage of existing opportunities, so that the strategy formulation is obtained including; (1) increasing production, improving visitor facilities by cooperating with related banks and SKPKD so that tourist locations have legality; (2) creating SOPs for visitors through social media so that visitors know all procedures while on vacation; (3) increasing capital so that the location of the tourist location has an agrotourism nuance for the comfort of visitors who like a lifestyle back to nature so that the opportunity for marketing grapes is high and creates jobs for the surrounding community
