Intelligent Interactive Multimedia by Converging the Intention of Spectator and Multimedia Creator
In this research, we propose a new approach on how human and technology interact with each other. Here, by enhancing the current HCI framework, it will enable interaction between human and technology become more effective and ideally. The aim of this research is to create an Intelligent Interactive Multimedia by converging the intention of spectator and multimedia creator. Several methods are proposed to achieve the conception of Intelligent Interactive Multimedia. Digital Drawing Block is the interactive multimedia with the initial intention of multimedia creator and it forms an interaction with spectator. Spectator intention has been categorized into four common categories, additionally, five features of hand gesture recognition is proposed to deduce the spectator intention. All these five features will be captured by the web-cam during the spectator’s interaction with the Digital Drawing Block. Moreover, captured features will be sent to the machine learning for analyzing. Proposed user models are to assist the machine learning to evaluate the most appropriate category of human behaviour which matches the spectator actual intention. Lastly, graphic that represents spectator intention will be generated together with the initial intention of multimedia creator. The new creation from spectator and multimedia creator will be displayed through the Digital Drawing Block. The conception of Intelligent Interactive Multimedia can represent as 70%'s effort of Multimedia Creator + 30%'s effort of spectator
Generalized Software Security Framework
Security of information has become a major concern in today's digitized world. As a result, effective techniques to secure information are required. The most effective way is to incorporate security in the development process itself thereby resulting into secured product. In this paper, we propose a framework that enables security to be included in the software development process. The framework consists of three layers namely; control layer, aspect layer and development layer. The control layer illustrates the managerial control of the entire software development process with the help of governance whereas aspect layer recognizes the security mechanisms that can be incorporated during the software development to identify the various security features. The development layer helps to integrate the various security aspects as well as the controls identified in the above layers during the development process. The layers are further verified by a survey amongst the IT professionals. The professionals concluded that the developed framework is easy to use due to its layered architecture and, can be customized for various types of softwares
Ogive Nose Hard Missile Penetrating Concrete Slab Numerical Simulation Approach
Great demand exists for more efficient design to protect delicate and serious structures such as nuclear plants, Power plants, Weapon Industries, weapons storage places, water retaining structures, & etc, against impact of kinetic missiles generated both accidentally and deliberately such as dynamic loading, incident occurs in nuclear plants, terrorist attack, Natural disasters like tsunami and etc., in various impact and blast scenarios for both civilian and military activities. In many cases, projectiles can be treated as rigid bodies when their damage and erosion are not severe. Due to the intricacy of the local impact damages, investigations are generally based on experimental data. Conclusions of the experimental observations are then used to guide engineering models. Local damages studies normally fall into three categories, i.e. empirical formulae based on data fitting, idealised analytical models based on physic laws and numerical simulations based on computational mechanics and material models. In the present study, 2D asymmetrical numerical simulation have done on concrete slab against the impact of  ogive nose hard missile of 26.90mm and 76.20mm diameter with CRH ratio 2.0 and 6.0 respectively, for penetration by using Concrete Damaged Plasticity Model, and ABAQUS/Explicit dynamic analysis in ABAQUS. It is found that the strains/stresses are induced in the concrete slab and a very nicely propagation of the stresses inside the  concrete slab in the form of waves, which is a clear indication for vibrations of the concrete. The lack of failure criterion in concrete damaged plasticity model does not allow the removal of elements during the analyses. This means that spalling, scabbing, and perforation cannot be modelled with the Concrete Damage Plasticity Model. The penetration depth results shows that the deeper penetration requires higher critical impact kinetic energies, and comparison shows the simulation results are more accurate than other formulae predicted results
Molecular Diversification and Phylogeny of Mangifera (Anacardiaceae) in Indonesia and Thailand
Phylogenetic relationships among 19 Â Mangifera L. species of Indonesia and Thailand were analyzed by comparing sequences of maturase-K gene of chloroplast genome. Phylogenetic analysis using parsimony method revealed that the gene could clasify Mangifera into three major groups. Although this classification system is different with the previous system, it can provide a new information about Mangifera taxonomy. Results further exhibited that DNA sequences of the matK of two Mangifera species (M. laurina dan M. macrocarpa) are different between Indonesia and Thailand specimens
Investigation of Power Factor on Harmonic Effect due to Types of Voltage Source
This paper discussed about power factor on harmonic effect due to types of voltage source. Usually, the voltage source is sinusoidal. But in actual condition the load that has voltage sources through the elements where the output voltage of element as input to load is not pure sinusoidal, for example at Power of Common Coupling (PCC) between transformer and linear load and nonlinear load. The research has been done with Schhafner Power Quality Analyzer and was focused to power factor (p.f.), Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and harmonic energy losses cost from measurement where load is Induction motor and Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD). As voltage source in this research are sine wave, square wave and combinations of 3rd, 5th and 7th harmonic order like harmonic 313, and harmonic 357
Projection Based Region of Interest Segmentation in Breast MRI Images
In this paper, a computer aided design auto breast region segmentation system is presented to identify the region of interest (ROI) in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images. The system is proposed due to the necessary for performing useful postprocessing on the image for breast cancer research and treatment. Â Besides, while the ROI is segmented, the image post-processing efficiency of the system is greatly improved. Â The vertical and horizontal projections algorithms are employed to refine the breast ROI. The methodology has been applied on 55 sets of Digital Image and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) breast MRI datasets images. The experimental results show that the system is able to segment the breast ROI accurately
