The Effects of Trade Wars on World Welfare
In this study, the effect of trade wars on global welfare is investigated. It is known that the USA and China mutually increased the data rates applied to some imported products. If many commodity groups are included in the trade wars, it is a matter of curiosity how the welfare level will be affected. In this study, the effects of restrictions or tax increases applied by countries on imported goods on welfare are examined. For this reason, we aimed to look at the trade wars between the world's largest economies, the USA and China, over some goods from a broad perspective. We also expanded our research and included the European Union, which is an important economic power, together with the USA and China. Thus, we aimed to investigate the impact of a possible trade war between the world's largest economies on both the welfare of the countries and the global welfare. According to the results we have obtained, trade wars negatively affect both the welfare level of countries and the global economy
Systematic Literature Analysis for Supply Chain Conflicts: Paving the Way for Future Studies
This research provides a systematic overview regarding the Supply Chain Conflicts in Business-to-Business (B2B) relationships and defines and categorizes the main conflict areas and resolution mechanisms by conducting a content analysis. Based on the screening of 343 studies published mainly in the literature on marketing, business, management literature and other disciplines during 2010-2021, a systematic review and a content analysis were applied to find out the current situation and future research directions on this topic. In this research, within the context of descriptive analysis, sectoral-based analysis enables us to identify areas where conflicts are prevalent and where there is a need for further action. Regarding content analysis, highly fragmented synthesis presents how areas of conflicts and conflict resolution mechanisms are formed in the current B2B context. By providing a summary of the existing research direction on the subject, published in peer-reviewed international journals that publish research in English, this study contributes to the future academic work by identifying conflict sources and resolution methods to achieve better conflict management practices within the supply chains. With the findings of the research, companies can review their business practices and the underlying factors of conflict situations to improve their supply chains and gain ideas for their resolution. This research also contributes to the industrial marketing literature by providing an assembled and synthesized knowledge for scholars on supply chain conflicts with resolution mechanisms in both the social sciences and interdisciplinary management; deriving a comprehensive analysis of methods and insights addressed by researchers in the field

The Relationship between Monetary Policy and Asset Prices: Evidence from the Turkish Economy
The developments in the US housing and real estate sectors played an important role during the Global Financial Crisis of 2008. The findings of previous theoretical and empirical studies have revealed that there was a strong relationship between the expansionary monetary policy that included high liquidity and low interest rates in the US economy and the housing price bubble, which played a central role in the development of the crisis. These developments have revealed the importance of the relationship between monetary policies and asset prices. In this direction, the present study aims to conduct an empirical investigation of the relationship between monetary policies and asset prices in the Turkish economy. In line with this purpose, the SVAR approach was used in the study. The period included within the scope of the present study was determined as 2011:5-2018:5. According to the findings obtained, it is observed that the only significant reaction of monetary policies to the variables included within the model was to real effective exchange rate and treasury bill rate. Additionally, the effects of monetary policies on real effective exchange rate, housing price index, BIST 100 index, treasury bill rate and interest of government securities were found to be significant
Match-Referee Matching Model in Football
Referees are assigned to football matches in Turkey by a three-person subcommittee formed by Central Referee Committee, a subsidiary of the Turkish Football Federation, in a non-transparent way and this procedure makes manipulation possible. Therefore, referee appointments are among the topics discussed in the football world. It is a major deficiency that the matching theory, which has been successful in regulating many problematic markets, has not been used to date in football for referee appointments. In this study, a match-referee matching model, using the Gale-Shapley algorithm, for the football matches played in Turkish professional football leagues is proposed. The match-referee matching result offered by this algorithm is the best possible stable matching result for the clubs. This matching result is produced in line with the preferences of the clubs and clubs' satisfaction is at the forefront. Most importantly, it is obtained through a transparent, clear, fair and manipulation-free match-referee matching system
