Objective: Hypoglycemia can cause brain disorders and also the death of patients. DiabetesMellitus patients who came to the emergency room were around 66.7% with hypoglycemia. Thissituation requires early prevention so as not to increase the number of patients with hypo-glycemia. Good prevention requires factors that are sure to cause hypoglycemia. The purposeof this research was to analyse of factors (occupation, education, knowledge, gender, and age)on the incidence of hypoglycemia in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients in the Emergency room(ER).Methods: The research design used was descriptive analytic with a cross-sectional design. Thepopulation in this study were patients with diabetes mellitus who visit the emergency room.A sample of 37 patients was recruited by consecutive sampling technique. Data analysis wasperformed by Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) test. Results: The result shows significant effect on the incidence of hypoglycemia with a value ofT = 3.844. Characteristic factors of the occurrence of hypoglycemia are gender, occupation, knowledge, education, and age. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the characteristics of DM subjects have a significantrelationship with the incidence of hypoglycemia in patients in the ER.© 2020 Elsevier Espa˜na, S.L.U. Problems emerge when the patient returns to the family and society at large, and families that refuse to allow the patient to come back home risk the possibility that the patient may eventually become a psychotic vagrant. Aims To determine the appearance of families taking care of patients with mental disorders post-pasung. Method This study was qualitative research using a case study approach. The number of participants from six families was selected by purposive sampling. Collecting data was done by in-depth interview, and analysed thematically using Colaizzi steps. Results The results showed that families coping when taking care of patients with mental disorders post-pasung comprise seven themes. The seven themes are formed by four categories, 19 sub-themes and 32 sections. Discussion The appearance of coping was the overall description of coping in the form of strategic process stages, the support of coping and meaning for what the families feel when they are taking care of a patient with a mental disorder post-pasung.The appearance of coping showed how the family chooses the mechanisms of coping to deal with stress and crisis. Conclusion The coping mechanisms that families use when taking care of a patient with a mental disorder post-pasung were formed through stages of a strategic process. Families need coping strengthening interventions to provide optimal care for patients with mental disorders post-pasung

The judicial process is able to create stress and anxiety for people who pass through it. Some conditions of prisoners who are just undergoing detention are vulnerable to stress, anxiety that leads to suicide. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between religiosity and resilience in penitentiaries. The design of this study was cross-sectional. The total population in this study was 1195, with a target population of 437, and an affordable population of 137 fostered residents was obtained by simple random sampling. The independent variable is religiosity. The dependent variable is resilience. The instrument in this study used the religiosity questionnaire and Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), and the data were analyzed with Spearmen's Rho. Respondents with moderate religiosity and resilience were 118 (90.1%) WBP, and low religiosity and resilience were 11 WBP. There is a relationship between religiosity and resilience in prisons (p=0.000; r=0.845). There is a strong relationship between religiosity and resilience of fostered adults. Therefore the clinic nurse can continue to help the WBP to continue to motivate and help to reduce the anxiety, social, and physical conditions experienced by the WBP when they first enter prison

Abstract -- Schizophrenics are significantly linked to violent behavior compared to those with other disorders. There is an inextricable link between mental illness and violence, creating stigma and an uncomfortable environment for the family. This study aimed to analyze the effect of role-playing on the ability to control the anger of schizophrenics with violent behavior in the community. The design of this study was quasiexperimental with a pre-test-post-test control group design. The sample was divided into 2 groups consisting of 18 participants in the control group and 18 participants in the treatment group. The Federer formula and purposive sampling method was used to determine the sample size. The data collection was accumulated by observation on a pre-test and post-test sheet. The data was analyzed using a Paired and Independent T-Test (p< 0,05). The results of the ability to control anger in the treatment group experienced an increase after being given assertive training (role-playing) (p=0.000) while there was no difference (p=0.097) in the control group in accordance with the results of the research which showed assertive training was proven to improve the anger control ability of schizophrenics with violent behavior in Lawang Psychiatry Hospital. Using assertiveness training, especially role-playing, can decrease anger. This method will improve their anger management skill and help the nurses in preventing the recurrence of violent behavior among schizophrenics

Self-efficacy, infection prevention behavior and the treatment adherence are the 3 factors that support TB control programs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of individual coaching on improving selfefficacy, infection prevention behavior, and adherence to the TB treatment. This study used a quasi-experiment with a pre-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Sixty respondents were divided into control and treatment groups. Each group had 30 respondents. Individual coaching was carried out at the Oesapa Health Center divided into 5 stages with a 60-minute home visit. The respondents were given questionnaires and then observed. The study was conducted for 2 weeks. The independent variable in this study was individual coaching and the dependent variables were self-efficacy, infection prevention behavior and the treatment adherence of tuberculosis patients. The Wilcoxon sign rank test and the Mann-Whitney test were used for statistical analysis. The statistical tests showed that individual coaching has an effect on self-efficacy (p=0.000), on the knowledge of infection prevention behavior (p=0.000), attitudes (p=0.000) and on actions (p=0.000) and the adherence to the tuberculosis treatment (p=0.000). The individual coaching method affects self-efficacy, the prevention of infection behavior and the adherence to TB treatment as well as the suppression of infection and dropping out of the TB treatment

An intervention with the aroma of ginger essential oil and relaxation techniques, upon acupressure meridian PC6, could reduce nausea and vomiting, and increase comfort and decrease anorexia. However, the research has not been found to prove effectiveness if these two interventions are combined. This research explains the effect of combinations of the aroma of ginger essential oil and relaxation techniques, upon acupuncture meridian PC6, on nausea, vomiting, comfort and anorexia. Quantitative research was designed for a QuasiExperiment with pre-post-test control group design (four groups prepost-test). This research was upon a population of cancer patients post chemotherapy, who experienced nausea and vomiting. Non-probability consecutive sampling was used to select 30 respondents for each group, according to inclusion criteria. The research variables were essential ginger oil aroma, relaxation technique acupressure upon meridian PC6, nausea, vomiting, comfort, and anorexia. The instruments used were a nausea and vomiting questionnaire, an anorexia questionnaire, and a shortened general comport questionnaire (GCQ) analysed using MANOVA. There was a decrease in nausea and vomiting p=0,000, an increase in comfort p=0,000, a decrease in anorexia p=0,000 before and after the intervention of a combination of ginger essential oil and relaxation technique upon the acupressure PC6 meridian. The combination of essential ginger aroma and relaxation techniques for acupressure meridian PC6 were one of the alternative interventions that was effective in reducing nausea and vomiting, increasing comfort, decreasing anorexia in cancer patients
