    Analisis Perbedaan Kinerja Keuangan Sebelum dan Sesudah Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance Pada PT. Petrokimia Gresik

    This study aimed to know the process of implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in by the company and to know the difference in financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG at PT. Petrokimia Gresik (PT. PKG). This research was conducted by using data taken from financial statements in 2003 and 2005 in PT. PKG is then processed by using statistical analysis as a tool to test the hypothesis raised by the researcher that is using "Paired Samples T-test" which is a test performed on two sample pairs. Based on the results of the analysis “Paired Samples T-test" can be concluded that the measurement of financial performance used is based Keputusan Menteri BUMN Nomor Kep.100/M. BUMN/2002: Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Investment (ROI), Cash Ratio, Current Ratio, Collection periods (CP), Inventory Turnover (PP), Turnover Total Asset/Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), and the ratio of Total Equity to Total Assets. Seven indicators of financial performance is ROE, ROI, Cash Ratio, Current Ratio, CP, PP, and TATO is no difference between the financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG at the PT. PKG, while financial performance indicators measured by the ratio of Total Equity to Total Assets has shown there are differences between the financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG in by the company.Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Financial Performanc

    The main purpose of the article is to increase understanding in some personal characteristics affecting creative performance among Indonesian radio station managers’ leadership context. Organizational researchers and managers alike have long held the view that individual creativity is critical for organizational success. The first element of improvement creativity, that is, the ‘person’, is obvious. New ideas are not generated or implemented by organizations or technology, but come into being through efforts of dedicated people. Thus, it is important to understand people’s personality, motivations, skills, level of experiences, and psychological preferences.     Meningkatkan Kompensasi, Kepuasan Kerja Dan Motivasi Untuk Mengurangi Labor Turnover Intention

    One of important aspect in organization is maintain existence of employee and push down turnover intention.Turnover intention is the result of the exit of some employees and entrance of others to the work organization. Turnover intention refers to the movement into and out of an organization by the work force. Turnover intention maybe define as any permanent departure beyond the organizational boundaries. Negative effect existence of turnover intention is the increasing of expense of recruitment. Other effect which more important is communications that's more and more ugly and organizational performance trouble. Base on reasoning of turnover intention problem this research purposed to analyses of relation between compensation, job satisfaction, motivation, and labor turnover intention.Base on research purpose, primary data be applied in this research. Research population are  employee of several company in Surabaya which consist of 450 employee. From 450 employees, as much 150 employee be created as sample, by using random sampling technique. This amount have been compatible with general agreement which can be analyzed by using SEM.Result of the research indicates that there are significant influence from : compensation to job satisfaction, compensation to negative motivation, motivation  to negative labor turnover intention, job satisfaction to motivation. There are two relationship which not significant, those are from : compensation to labor turnover intention, and job satisfaction to labor turnover intention. This result can be concluded that labor turnover intention can be reduced through : increasing compensation so job satisfaction will go up, then motivation also go up, and finaly  labor turnover intention go down.Keywords: Compensation, Job Satisfaction, Motivation,  Labor Turnover Intentio

    Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pengambilan Keputusan Wanita Berwirausaha Di Kota Surabaya

    The aim of this research was to know what factors affected to the women decision making as enterprneur in Surabaya, and to answer to the research problem which is how is the internal dan eksternal factors affected to the women decision makingas as entrepreneur.Data gathering in this research was using survey method with questionair as instrument in this research. Responden in this research come from the women small enterprenuer populations, there was 150 women small enterprenuer choose by the purposif sampling technique. To answer the research problems dan test of hypothesis data was analyzed by using deskriptif analisis, Correlation, Regression F-test dan t-test.The result of the research show to us that the internal factors (interest, empowerment, and motivation) was affected to women in decision making as enterprneur especially interest and motivation, but the empowerment was not affected significantly. Furthermore eksternal factors such as the husband support and financial resource was not all affected but only the husband support was significantly affected.     The purpose of this study is to determine how much economic factors affecting the level of poverty in the city of Surabaya. In an effort to improve the living standards of poor communities especially in the city of Surabaya. This study uses secondary data during the 12 years since the years 1996-2007 using multiple linear regression analysis calculations to determine the relationship and influence simultaneously and partially from Population Growth variables (X1), Investment (X2), Education Subsidy (X3), and Level Education (X4) as the independent variable on the variables in Surabaya City Poverty Rate (Y) as the dependent variable. Results obtained from testing the hypothesis that the variables X1, X2, X3, and X4 significant effect Poverty Level variable, this is indicated by the test F test = 5.613> Ftable = 4.12.     This study aims to analyze how many the economic factors that influence the development of Indonesia's export volume. Variables used in this research are investments (X1), U.S. Dollar Exchange Rate (X2), Export Price Index (X3) and Gross Domestic Product (X4), using secondary data during the period of 15 years ie from year 1993 to 2007. Secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in East Java. From the results obtained by testing the hypothesis that the variables X1, X2, X3, and X4 has a significant (real) on the dependent variable is Volume Exports in Indonesia, this is indicated by the test F test = 8.723 greater than Ftable = 3.48. This research aim to know the Influence of Marketing Alliance of to Service Quality and also its impact to Brand Reputation and Services Attraction at one of EMKL in Surabaya.Primary data used in this research, purposive sampling has been taken to identify the sample, there was the customer’s of EMKL. Among the important aspects are: values, attitudes, behavior, organizational culture, corporate culture. A number of components into the aspirations and establish a culture of public service organizations. Then used as input in improving the effectiveness of bureaucratic performance. The main purpose of the establishment of an organizational culture within the organization to include all members of the organization can understand, comply with and implement the system-defined organizational culture. Further than that when the organizations or PSOs have agreed a standard system of organizational culture and formed from a number of values that represetatif, so if a problem appears in based organizations, it strived to be resolved by referring to the cultural values of the organization in question. Benefits and functions of organizational culture is to help overcome the problems originating from internal and external organizations. The way that you can use to implement the organization's culture is to promote the vision, mission, strategy and organization, and performance goals to be achieved to the external environment (external stakeholders). While the internal organization that organizational culture needs to be socialized to all employees and associated components. Some important material in the socialization include the following: criteria for employees, the determination of work standards and incentives (rewards) and punishment.
