No full textV reakci na zvyšující se urbanizační tlak na města v těsné blízkosti Brna a klimatické výzvy, jimž čelí Jihomoravský kraj, je zadáním urbanistická studie města Židlochovice. Práce se zaměřuje na město, jež je díky své poloze, dopravní napojenosti, roli obce s rozšířenou působností a ZÚR definované roli lokálního centra velmi žádaným místem. Tento tlak ústí v zastavování periferií obcí a postupné zabírání hospodářských polí. Cílem je poskytnout kapacity pro navyšující se poptávku tak, aby rozvoj nezasahoval do okolní krajiny a podpořil existující struktury.
Samotné Židlochovice dnes upřednostňují rozvíjení zástavby na periferii namísto využití rezerv stabilizovaného území v centru, kde jsou stále dostupné rozvojové možnosti. Současné občanské vybavení i propojenost obce jsou dostačující, avšak v horizontu následujících desetiletí lze s přibývajícími obyvateli předpokládat přesáhnutí jejich kapacit. Rezervy levého břehu mají potenciál posílit, zahustit a ucelit širší centrum tak, aby bylo připraveno pojmout nadcházející změny a nabídnout poptávané bydlení bez rozbíhání zástavby do krajiny.
Práce definuje a popisuje jádra obce (náměstí a významná veřejná prostranství) a jejich propojenost v jasné širší centrum, které koncentruje potřebnou městskou vybavenost s pobytovým charakterem a přímým napojením veřejné dopravy na Brno. Návrh zpracovává vytvoření nových městských bloků s obytnou až smíšenou funkcí uvnitř stávající struktury levého břehu. Tyto bloky jsou řešeny spolu s krajinou řeky, která obec prostupuje a dělí na pravý a levý břeh s vlastními lokálními jádry. Propojení těchto jader spolu se zpřístupněním řeky prostřednictvím nové cesty a krajinářského řešení pobytových břehů vytvoří malý okruh, jasně zadefinuje a zprostupní širší centrum města a posílí roli navrhovaných bloků jako plnohodnotné městské struktury.
Návrh konkrétně definuje vzhled těchto bloků v podobě hmotové studie s jasně stanoveným způsobem dopravního provozu, veřejnými prostranstvími a charakterem jednotlivých částí.In response to the increasing urbanization pressure on towns in the immediate vicinity of Brno and the climate challenges faced by the South Moravian Region, the assignment is an urban study of the town of Židlochovice. The work focuses on a town that, due to its location, transport connectivity, role as a municipality with extended powers, and its designation as a local center in the regional development plan, is a highly sought-after place. This pressure results in the development of the outskirts of municipalities and the gradual takeover of agricultural fields. The goal is to provide capacity for the increasing demand so that development does not encroach on the surrounding landscape and supports existing structures.
Currently, Židlochovice favors expanding development on the periphery rather than utilizing reserves of stabilized land in the center, where development opportunities are still available. The current civic amenities and connectivity of the municipality are sufficient; however, with the increasing population expected over the coming decades, their capacities may be exceeded. The reserves on the left bank have the potential to strengthen, densify, and consolidate the wider center to prepare it to accommodate upcoming changes and offer the desired housing without sprawling into the landscape.
The study defines and describes the cores of the municipality (the town square and significant public spaces) and their connectivity into a clear wider center that concentrates the necessary urban amenities with a recreational character and direct public transport connection to Brno. The proposal develops the creation of new urban blocks with residential to mixed-use functions within the existing structure on the left bank. These blocks are designed in conjunction with the river landscape, which flows through the municipality and divides it into right and left banks, each with its own local cores. Connecting these cores and opening up the river through a new pathway and landscape design of recreational riverbanks will create a small loop, clearly define and make accessible the wider town center, and strengthen the role of the proposed blocks as a fully-fledged urban structure.
The proposal specifically defines the appearance of these blocks in the form of a massing study with a clearly determined traffic arrangement, public spaces, and the character of individual parts

Nová škola by měla být nejen vzdělávacím centrem, ale i otevřeným a přívětivým prostorem pro celou komunitu. Důležité pro obec je, aby škola nefungovala pouze během školní doby, ale aby její prostory byly využívány i mimo výuku a školní provoz. S ohledem na její centrální polohu je záměrem, aby škola byla aktivní součástí obecního dění a poskytovala prostředí, které bude nadčasové svou funkčností i estetickým řešením a kladlo důraz na dlouhodobou kvalitu a příjemné inspirativní prostředí pro děti i dospěle.The task is to design a new elementary school building that will be convincing, high-quality, and functional from architectural, urban, and operational perspectives a structure capable of serving several generations. The new school should not only function as an educational institution but also as an open and welcoming space for the entire community.
It is important for the municipality that the school is not used only during school hours but that its premises are accessible and actively used outside of regular teaching time. Given its central location, the intention is for the school to become an active part of public life and to provide an environment that is timeless in both function and aesthetics with an emphasis on long-term quality and a pleasant, inspiring atmosphere for children and adults alike

Cílem je navrhnout efektivní způsob správy prostorových dat a informací o členských subjektech Sdružení lesních školkařů ČR a jimi poskytovaném sadebním materiálu. Práce zahrnuje rešerši využití GIS a DPZ v lesnictví a příbuzných oborech, analýzu fungování lesních školek, návrh možných využití GIS a DPZ v lesním školkařství, návrh prostorového datového modelu a tvorbu webové mapové aplikace. Výsledná aplikace umožňuje interaktivní správu informací o lesních školkách a sadebním materiálu a vyhledávání vhodných školkařských subjektů na základě požadavků zákazníků. Užitečnost aplikace je ověřena praktickou úlohou, která prokazuje zrychlení a zpřehlednění procesu poptávání sadebního materiálu. Výstupy práce mohou podpořit modernizaci správy dat v lesním školkařství a ukazují možnosti dalšího rozvoje oboru s využitím GIS a DPZ.This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using GIS and remote sensing (RS) in forest nursery management. The aim is to propose an effective method for managing spatial data and information about the member entities of the The Forest Nursery Association of the Czech Republic and the planting material they provide. The thesis includes a review of the use of GIS and RS in forestry and related fields, an analysis of the functioning of forest nurseries, a proposal for possible uses of GIS and RS in forest nursery management, the design of a spatial data model, and the development of a web map application. The resulting application enables interactive management of information about forest nurseries and planting material, as well as searching for suitable nursery entities based on customer requirements. The usefulness of the application is verified through a practical task, demonstrating the acceleration and clarification of the planting material inquiry process. The outcomes of the thesis may support the modernization of data management in forest nursery management and indicate possibilities for further development of the field using GIS and RS
Circular economy practices, green innovation and financial performance: The moderating role of big data analytics
Full text linkEnvironmental pollution and resource degradation have prompted researchers and policymakers to seek solutions. Circular economy practices (CEP) can help enterprises reduce emissions into the environment and move towards sustainable development. CEP has been studied widely in developed countries but less studied in developing countries due to the limited application of CEP in enterprises and the limitation of data. This paper aims to analyse the effect of CEP on financial performance, including revenue, profit and ROA. We also analyse the mediating role of green innovation and the moderating role of big data analytics in the relationship between CEP and financial performance. The natural resource based view (NRBV) theory is used to explain the relationship between variables and establish research hypotheses. We collected data from 413 Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises and used the regression method to test the research hypotheses. The results show that CEP positively impacts financial performance through the mediating role of green innovation. Besides, big data analytics also positively impacts the relationship between CEP and green innovation. In addition to the main results above, digital transformation positively impacts financial performance, but quality management practices do not affect financial performance. The research results are empirical evidence for enterprises considering implementing CEP to move towards sustainable development
Make ads skippable or not: The impact of ad type on brand recall, salience and conversion rate
No full textIn today’s world, people are using digital platforms more than ever to communicate with friends, network, shop, learn and more. The average time spent on these platforms is increasing. Companies are naturally reflecting this fact in order to reach as many people as possible through these platforms and their advertising messages. However, users are constantly bombarded with advertising messages that fragment their attention. It is, therefore, important to study the effects of different types of video advertising, with or without skipping, on consumers’ purchasing decisions and to create ads that perform better but do not distract the audience. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of skipping ads in terms of brand memorability and brand salience on subsequent conversion performance in an e-commerce store. The results of the study show that consumers achieve lower brand recall and conversion rates when shown a non-skippable ad than a skippable ad. On the other hand, while skippable ads are associated with higher levels of actual brand recall, from a more holistic perspective, the non-skippable ad type is better suited to increase brand salience, which appears to be more important for subsequent future purchase execution at the retailer
Role of investments in profit formation in the era of Industry 4.0: Case study of the Czech manufacturing industry
No full textThis study investigates the role of investments in shaping profitability within the Czech manufacturing industry between 2008 and 2022. Drawing on comprehensive industry-level data, we analyze the relationship between investment volume, efficiency, and profitability, particularly within the evolving framework of Industry 4.0. Our findings show that larger sectors with higher investment volumes generally achieve greater profitability. However, this relationship is non-linear: excessive investments can reduce efficiency, as reflected in declining added value per unit of investment. Regression analyses reveal that added value is the primary driver of profitability across manufacturing industrial sectors. Other factors, such as workforce size and the lagged effects of investments, exhibit only limited explanatory power. Furthermore, the study identifies inefficiencies arising from overinvestment, which may be attributed to market saturation, failure to fully realize economies of scale, and the unintended effects of government subsidy schemes. These results emphasize the importance of strategic investment planning that prioritizes long-term efficiency rather than short-term quantitative expansion. In the rapidly evolving context of Industry 4.0, firms must align their investment strategies with sector-specific conditions and technological demands to maintain sustainable competitiveness. This study illuminates the complex dynamics between investment behavior and profitability, offering valuable insights for managerial decision-making and economic policy formulation. It contributes to a broader understanding of how targeted investment strategies can enhance the performance of manufacturing sectors undergoing technological transformation

No full textTato diplomová práce se zkoumá změny základních somatických parametrů k úrovni tělesné zdatnosti u adolescentů Gymnázia Dr. Josefa Pekaře v Mladé Boleslavi v období let 2023 až 2025. Výzkum byl realizován jako longitudinální studie navazující na šetření uskutečněné v roce 2023. Do sledování bylo zařazeno 150 žáků, kteří byli testováni pomocí stejné testové sady jako při předchozím měření. Testování zahrnovalo základní somatická měření a motorické testy. Adolescentům se v průběhu dvou let vzrostla jak tělesná výška o 3,3cm (p < 0,001), tak hmotnost o 4,6 kg (p < 0,001) což bylo potvrzeno párovým t-testem a odpovídá očekávanému vývoji v adolescenci. Změny hodnoty BMI se pohybovaly v rozmezí -4,3-7,9kg/m^2 . Přičemž u dvou třetiny respondentů se BMI zvýšilo či stagnovalo. Výsledky přinášejí důležité poznatky o vývojových tendencích a mohou být přínosem pro pedagogy, trenéry, odborníky v oblasti pohybové prevence i školní výuku tělesné výchovy.This study examines changes in basic somatic parameters related to the physical condition of adolescents at Dr. Josef Pekař Gymnasium in Mladá Boleslav between 2023 and 2025. The research was conducted as a longitudinal study following up on a survey conducted in 2023. A total of 150 students were included in the study and were tested using the same test set as in the previous measurement. The testing included basic somatic measurements and motor tests. Over the course of two years, the adolescents grew 3.3 cm (p < 0.001) and gained 4.6 kg (p < 0.001), which was confirmed by a paired t-test and corresponds to the expected development during adolescence. BMI changes ranged from -4.3 to 7.9, kg/m^2 with two-thirds of respondents experiencing an increase or stagnation in BMI. The results provide important insights into developmental trends and may be beneficial to educators, coaches, physical prevention specialists, and physical education teachers in school

No full textBakalářka práce se zabývá tématem "Rozvoj fonematického sluchu". Cílem je vyrobit a v praxi vyzkoušet pomůcku pro rozvoj fonematického sluchu dětí se sluchovým postižením. Teoretická část této práce vychází z odborné literatury a věnuje se problematice fonematického sluchu u dětí se sluchovým postižením. V teoretické části jsou vymezena základní východiska související s fonematickým sluchem, jeho vývojem a významem pro rozvoj řeči a komunikačních dovedností. Dále je věnována pozornost specifikům sluchového postižení a možnostem podpory percepčních schopností dětí s touto diagnózou. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na návrh a tvorbu konkrétní pomůcky, její detailní popis a možnosti využití v pedagogické praxi. Součástí je také návrh evaluačních kritérií, která umožní posoudit efektivitu pomůcky v reálném vzdělávacím prostředí. Výsledky ověření jsou analyzovány a na jejich základě jsou formulována doporučení pro další pedagogickou praxi.This bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of "Development of Phonemic Awareness." No full textThe importance of adaptive clothing has grown considerably in response to the needs of individuals with physical disabilities, whether congenital or acquired. This study explores the principles of user-centred design in developing adaptive clothing, using a framework informed by focus group discussions. The aim was to gather detailed insights to guide the design process, ensuring that users' needs and preferences are effectively addressed. To achieve this, three separate focus groups were created, comprising 7 medical staff, 5 patients from the surgical department, and 12 patients undergoing rehabilitation. This diverse representation sought to address the different needs associated with varying mobility levels, treatment durations, and care requirements. The approach aims to understand the experiences and needs of adaptive clothing users thoroughly. As a result, an effective adaptive design was developed, focusing on clothing that is not only functional and visually appealing but also genuinely meets the users' needs
Does digital transformation propel innovation strategies? An empirical investigation based on machine learning and the dynamic GMM approach
Full text linkIn today’s digital landscape, the transformation through digital technologies is revolutionizing traditional business models and innovation practices. Numerous organizations are accelerating their digital transformation efforts to enhance manufacturing capabilities, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. While the significant role of digital transformation in economic development has been widely recognized in academic literature, research exploring the complex interplay between digital transformation and innovation strategies remains limited. This study aims to explore this relationship by utilizing annual report data and patent information from Chinese listed companies over the period from 2012 to 2021. Our findings indicate that digital transformation has a positive impact on both R&D input strategies and innovation output strategies. Specifically, it increases firms’ propensity to invest in R&D activities, thereby increasing potential future innovation returns. Moreover, digital transformation bolsters both strategic and substantive innovation by leveraging digital capabilities for better resource integration. This paper significantly contributes to the existing literature on digital transformation and innovation strategies, offering valuable insights that can facilitate higher levels of digital transformation and promote high-quality economic development
