How and why does inner resignation (quiet quitting) impact service innovation behavior? A moderator role of ethical leadership
Get PDFTourism enterprises are labor-intensive, and the service innovation behavior of employees plays an important role in keeping these enterprises ahead of their competitors. Inner resignation (IR) is a relatively new concept in organizational life, and it is a situation that should be prevented due to its negative impact on the organization. In this study, the moderating role of ethical leadership (EL) in reducing the negative effect of inner resignation on service innovation behavior (SIB) was examined with a cross-cultural comparison for Turkish and German tourism employees. A total of 743 employees working in hotels in Turkey and Germany were surveyed using a questionnaire. The results of the research show that employees’ inner resignation has a negative impact on their service innovation behavior. On the other hand, ethical leadership plays a moderating role in the effect of inner resignation on service innovating behavior. The moderator role of ethical leadership perceptions in this relationship was also examined separately for German and Turkish employees due to cultural differences. While the moderating role of ethical leadership in the effect of German employees’ inner resignation on service innovating behavior was found to be statistically significant, this role was found to be insignificant for Turkish employees
Identification of Possible Development of Mobile Applications and Portals Used in Tourism
No full textBakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání aktuálního stavu a potenciálu rozvoje mobilních aplikací a portálů cestovního ruchu. V úvodu práce je provedena definice a vymezení pojmu cestovního ruchu. Následně se práce zaměří do mobilních aplikací a portálů v cestovním ruchu využívané v České republice. V rámci práce je proveden průzkum mezi respondenty s cílem zjistit jejich zkušenosti s využíváním mobilních aplikací a portálů během cestování, identifikovat jejich nejčastější požadavky a očekávání spojená s těmito technologiemi a odhalit případné nedostatky stávajících řešení. Na základě získaných dat jsou navrženy konkrétní doporučení pro rozvoj mobilních aplikací a portálů v cestovním ruchu. V závěru práce jsou diskutovány potenciální výzvy a omezení spojené s rozvojem mobilních aplikací a portálů v cestovním ruchu a navrženy směry pro další výzkum v této oblasti.The bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the current state and potential of the development of mobile applications and tourism portals. In the introduction of the thesis, a definition and delineation of the concept of tourism is made. Subsequently, the thesis looks into the mobile applications and portals in tourism used in the Czech Republic. The thesis conducts a survey among respondents in order to find out their experiences with the use of mobile applications and portals during travel, to identify their most common requirements and expectations associated with these technologies and to reveal any shortcomings of existing solutions. Based on the collected data, specific recommendations for the development of mobile applications and portals in the tourism sector are proposed. The paper concludes with a discussion of potential challenges and limitations associated with the development of mobile applications and portals in the tourism industry and suggests directions for further research in this area
Cooling system design for ASIC bitcoin mining devices
No full textPod povrchem každého čipu se odehrává tichý, ale neúprosný boj s teplem. A stejně tak - pod povrchem každého funkčního systému - probíhá zápas o stabilitu, důvěru a rovnováhu. Tato diplomová práce spojuje oba světy. Zkoumá přenos tepla mezi výkonovými čipy ASIC a jejich chladičem, zároveň ale míří hlouběji - k jádru infrastruktury Bitcoinu jakožto otevřeného, necenzurovatelného systému, jehož síla závisí na každém jednotlivém spoji. Ve spolupráci s českou společností Braiins Systems, která dlouhodobě stojí za vývojem otevřeného těžebního softwaru a nyní i evropského ASIC hardwaru, vznikl návrh vlastní teplo vodivé pasty na bázi keramických plniv (BN, AlN) a syntetického oleje. Pasta byla následně otestovaná, výsledky byly získány metodickým měřením teplot čipů na hashboardu (PCB) zařízení Antminer S21 v prostředí cyklického zatížení. Vlastní pasta byla porovnána s komerčně dostupnými pastami, a i přes své limity ukázala překvapivou stabilitu, vhodné fyzikální vlastnosti a také potenciál pro další vývoj. Nabízí se myšlenka, že otevřenost a svoboda nejsou samozřejmostí. Infrastruktura Bitcoinu není jen pouhý hardware, ale i důvěra. I pod nejtenčí vrstvou materiálu se může skrývat síla, která má dopad nejen na čip samotný, ale i na systém, kterému věříme.Inside every chip, there is a quiet but constant fight against heat. And in the same way, every working system must deal with pressure, trust, and balance. This diploma thesis connects both ideas. It focuses on heat transfer between ASIC chips and their heat sinks, and also looks deeperat the structure that keeps Bitcoin running: an open and censorship-resistant network that depends on each part of the system. In cooperation with Braiins Systemsa Czech company known for open-source mining software and now working on the first European-made ASIC minera custom thermal paste was developed and tested. This paste is made of ceramic powders (BN and AlN) mixed into a synthetic oil. The testing included full temperature monitoring of all chips on an Antminer S21 device during thermal cycling. The new paste was compared with commercial products and, even with some limits, showed good stability, suitable physical properties, and potential for future improvements. The idea is that open-mindedness and freedom are not a given. Bitcoin's infrastructure is not just mere hardware, but also trust. Even under the thinnest layer of material, there can be a power that impacts not only the chip itself, but the system we trust
Implementation of 3D printing in a manufacturing company

Cílem práce je analyzovat proces zavádění 3D tisku ve společnosti Knorr-Bremse a zhodnotit jeho ekonomické dopady. Teoretická část se věnuje inovacím, financování, environmentálním aspektům a technologickému pozadí aditivní výroby. Praktická část popisuje konkrétní kroky implementace
tiskáren, pilotní testování a interní výrobní procesy. Závěrečná ekonomická analýza porovnává náklady na vlastní 3D tisk s náklady na externí dodavatele. Výsledky ukazují, že interní 3D tisk vede k úspoře času i nákladů a podporuje flexibilitu a efektivitu výroby.This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of 3D printing technology in a manufacturing company. The aim of the thesis is to 3 D the process of implementing 3D printing at Knorr-Bremse and to evaluate its economic impact. The theoretical part deals with innovation, financing, environmental aspects and the technological background of additive manufacturing. The practical part describes the concrete steps of printer implementation, pilot testing and internal production processes. The final economic analysis compares the costs of in-house 3D printing with the costs of external suppliers. The results show that in-house 3D printing leads to time and cost savings and promotes flexibility and efficiency in production
Education and Activation of Seniors in Retirement Home

Práce je rozdělena do teoretické a empirické části. Teoretická část popisuje proces stárnutí, změny
spojené se stářím, potřeby seniorů a specifika pobytových sociálních služeb. Dále představuje
formy a vybrané metody aktivizace seniorů, jako jsou reminiscence, arteterapie, muzikoterapie,
zooterapie, ergoterapie, pohybové aktivity a trénování paměti.
Empirická část je zaměřena na průzkum realizovaný v Domově seniorů Vratislavice, p. o., jehož
cílem bylo zjistit, jaké aktivity senioři preferují, jak často se jich účastní, jak vnímají jejich přínosy
a co je motivuje nebo naopak odrazuje od účasti. Data byla získána pomocí anonymního dotazníku
a následně analyzována. Výsledky ukazují, že aktivizační činnosti přispívají zejména k psychické
pohodě, zlepšení paměti a udržování sociálních kontaktů. V závěru jsou navržena doporučení pro
další rozvoj aktivizačních programů a podpora individuálního přístupu ke klientům.The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of education and activation of seniors in residential care
homes. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part describes
the process of ageing, age-related changes, the needs of elderly people, and the specifics of
residential social services. It also presents various forms and selected methods of senior activation,
such as reminiscence, art therapy, music therapy, animal-assisted therapy, occupational therapy,
physical activities, and memory training.
The empirical part is based on a survey conducted at the Vratislavice Residential Care Home.
The aim of the research was to identify which activities are preferred by seniors, how often they
participate in them, how they perceive their benefits, and what factors either motivate or discourage
their participation. Data were collected through an anonymous questionnaire and subsequently
analyzed. The results show that activation activities contribute mainly to mental well-being,
memory improvement, and the maintenance of social relationships. The conclusion provides
recommendations for further development of activation programmes and emphasizes the
importance of an individualised approach to clients

No full textBakalářská práce se věnuje tématu holocaustu, konkrétně analýze osudů třiceti pěti žen s vazbami na město Liberec, které byly na podzim roku 1941 deportovány do ghetta Lodž. Pouze dvě z nich přežily, zbývajících třicet tři bylo zavražděno. Cílem práce je nejen provést statistickou analýzu, ale také přiblížit konkrétní příběhy vybraných žen a navrátit jim tváře. Jedním z charakteristických rysů nacistické represivní politiky byla systematická dehumanizace. Lidé byli redukováni na čísla, čímž přicházeli o svou identitu a důstojnost. Část bakalářské práce se proto snaží alespoň symbolicky navrátit těmto ženám jejich jména, příběhy a lidskost.This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of the Holocaust, specifically the analysis of the fates of thirty-five women with ties to the city of Liberec who were deported to the Lodz Ghetto in the autumn of 1941. Only two of them survived, while the remaining thirty-three were murdered. The aim of the thesis is not only to carry out a statistical analysis, but also to present the specific stories of the selected women and to restore their faces. One of the hallmarks of Nazi repressive policies was systematic dehumanization. People were reduced to numbers, thus losing their identity and dignity. Part of this bachelor's thesis therefore seeks to restore, at least symbolically, these women's names, stories and humanity

zaměří na klíčové aspekty každodenního života, na adaptaci obyvatel na válečnou realitu,
včetně pracovních podmínek v továrnách, dostupnosti základních potřeb, změn ve školství,
kulturním a společenském životě, ale i na represe ze strany nacistického režimu a projevy
kolaborace i rezistence. Práce bude založena na pramenném výzkumu, především ve fondech
Státního okresního archivu Zlín a Moravského zemského archivu v Brně. Stranou pozornosti
nezůstane ani dobový tisk.The bachelor's thesis will focus on the everyday life of the inhabitants of the city of Zlín
during the existence of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (1939-1945). The aim of the
thesis is to describe and analyze how World War II and the German occupation affected their
daily lives. The work will concentrate on key aspects of everyday life, the adaptation of the
population to wartime realities, including working conditions in factories, availability of basic
necessities, changes in education, cultural and social life, as well as repression by the Nazi
regime and manifestations of collaboration and resistance. The thesis will be based on primary
source research, mainly in the collections of the State District Archive Zlín and the Moravian
Provincial Archive in Brno. Contemporary press sources will also be taken into account

No full textTato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku péče o seniory v domácím prostředí, která se v současnosti stává aktuálnější vzhledem k rostoucímu počtu starších osob a jejich preferenci zůstat v domácím prostředí, pokud je to možné. Cílem práce je identifikovat potřeby seniorů a definovat péči poskytovanou formálním a neformálním pečujícím v domácím prostředí seniora, v návaznosti na zátěž.
V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy senior, potřeby seniora, aktivity denního života (ADL), domácí péče, formální pečující, neformální pečující a zátěž. Dále se zaměřuje na výzvy, s nimiž se formální a neformální pečující potýkají, včetně fyzických, psychických a sociálních aspektů péče.
Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují úroveň zátěže pečujících, a to jak z fyzického, tak i psychického hlediska. K dosažení těchto cílů bude využita forma dotazníku, který bude sloužit k hodnocení schopnosti pečujících osob zvládat každodenní činnosti a zátěž spojenou s péčí o seniory.
Práce přináší přehled o současné situaci v oblasti péče o seniory v České republice a nejčastější zátěžové situace a překážky, se kterými se formální a neformální pečující setkávají.This bachelors thesis focuses on the issue of at home care for seniors, which is currently becoming increasingly relevant due to the growing number of older people and their preference to remain in their home environment, for as long as possible. The main goal of the thesis is to identify the needs of seniors and discuss the care provided by both formal and informal caregivers in the home inviroment of the senior, and where each group feels the greatest burden.
The theoretical part defines the terms senior, needs of seniors, activities of daily life (ADL), formal and informal caregivers, at home care and burden. It also focuses on the challenges that both formal and informal caregivers face, including the physical, psychological and social aspects of care.
The main goal of the practical part is to determine what factors influence the level of a caregivers burden, from a physical and psychological perspective. To achieve these goals, a questionnaire method will be used, specifically the ADL (Activities of Daily Life), which will be designed to asses the ability of caregivers to manage everyday activities and the burden associated with caring for seniors in their home environment.

Dále se věnuje přehledu vulkanických jevů v České republice, a to s důrazem na lokality v Libereckém a Královéhradeckém kraji, jako například Trosky, Kozákov, Panská skála a další významné geologické útvary. V praktické části práce je navržen výukový materiál pro žáky druhého stupně základní školy a nižších ročníků víceletých gymnázií, včetně pracovních listů a návrhu terénní badatelské exkurze. Cílem práce je podpořit environmentální vzdělávání a zvýšit zájem žáků o přírodní jevy spojené s geologií a vulkanismem prostřednictvím názorných a interaktivních metod.This bachelor's thesis focuses on volcanic activity, with an emphasis on its manifestations in the Liberec and Hradec Králové regions.
